Whole lotta songs I've heard at 5+ shows and a good number of ones I've only heard a few times.

Had a great time at the shows! My first time at Alpine; I volunteered with Reverb and sold the DMB Nalgene water bottles each night. N1 I stayed down in the lower left lawn the whole night...from good advice on the boards here about that. The sound was good but unfortunately the screen was out for the majority of the show. Thoroughly enjoyed YNK, Crush, Rooftop, Granny, and Two Step > Ants. Moved to the top of the lawn for the encore, and after the last notes of Rapunzel I made a beeline for my rental car in the yellow lot. Didn’t even need to slow the car down in leaving the lot, and was on Hwy D & I-43 within minutes. N2 I started around the same spot on the lawn (they fixed the screen projector!), but moved toward the back of the lawn in the last 1/4 of the show. Good sound back there too, and was pleased to hear my first JTR since 2001. Always love #41 and Recently. Had to park in the blue lot since I was later getting to the venue this time...so my exit was a little slower but still not bad at all. Saturday I day-tripped across the border to Dubuque Iowa, to eat at one of my favorite chain rib places that’s no longer near me where I live. Also visited the filming location for Field of Dreams in Dyersville Iowa. “If you build it, they will come”.

Of all the songs they played that i loved i have to say that my first Water into Wine jam was my personal highlight. Seek Up was great to hear as well.

Well, we were down to a smaller crew this year and I'm sorry to say that without Cabana Brad, there is just not as much hilarity involved. We showed up to tailgate and everything went off without a hitch. No one got too drunk or high. We made it into the show without issue. The show itself was pretty solid. Water Into Wine and Ain't It Funny were definitely the show highlights. Two Step into Ants was pretty cool. I'm sorry folks but there just wasn't much extraneous activity this year. Still a great time with great friends. Until next year...

Preservation Hall Jazz Band , "Right Place Wrong Time". My 1st time to this iconic venue. Band is so tight right now. RaShawn was the star of the night, great set - great crowd - great weather.

First time at AV. Such an incredible venue! The sound was even great on the lawn. A good mix of solid Dave songs, (Ants, Nancies,DDTW) and some surprises thrown in. Loved the tribute to Dr. John w/PHJB. Always a good show when you throw a Granny in there 😉. Looking forward to N2.

Great set list! Light rain cooled it off after the first 2 songs. Lighting during the finale was great! Good crowd and energy!

Awesome show with Tim and Mark! Great games of Chicapig pre-show along with a good bike ride where we heard the sound check from the Alpine bike trail!

Great energy from the band and the crowd! Looks like it is ranked as #10 or my 33 shows, that feels about right, definitely one of the best!

Great selection of classics from across the board. A Willie Nelson cover. Preservation Hall Jazz band joining the band to pay tribute to Dr. John. Great show, only negative was that it was over 90 degrees outside.

This show had an old-school feel to it. Water Into Wine, followed up with a Two Step > Ants was spectacular. The band energy was off the charts.

Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the set. The only thing keeping this from a 5-star rating is the PNP->Rapunzel encore (sigh). They could have completely blown the doors off with a myriad of different songs and I'm not sure why they're playing the shit out of those on this tour. Just left me with a bad taste. Suppose it serves me right though...normally attend both shows but couldn't this year. N2 is almost always better.

Balls to the wall setlist with pretty much no let up. Wish they would have used Pres Hall on a different song than the Dr. John cover but it didn't hurt the show at all. You Never Know opener set the tone right away.
