Sat with Marley, Matt and Tony. Great set list. Ants and Billies so weird without Boyd.

Great, energetic show. Saw four new songs that’ll be on the upcoming album, Come Tomorrow, which was pretty cool. Only one tour debut but hell of a show with a ton of love and energy from beginning to end, from the stage to the back of the lawn.

Great show is an understatement. It was freakin AWESOME. Good mix of old and new. An energy there tonight I haven’t seen in years. Guys looked like they were having so much fun up there. Buddy Strong is a great addition to the band. Seems to fit right in. Whole band esp Dave seemed so passionate about the music tonight. Most folks I chatted with after show all said the same.

Unbelievable show. A few highlights off the top of my head: Recently, Typical Situation, LITHOG>ABI (good lord, this was phenomenal), Do You Remember, DDTW, and #41. Absolutely stellar performances. Dave was the happiest I've ever seen him on stage in 20 years of seeing DMB live.

The setlist was a letdown but the band sounded great. They had great energy and were having fun. Typical was incredible. I had fun and that\'s what it all about.

Attended my first full band show in quite some time with my brother John. (We had seen Dave and Tim with our friend S. last year).
The energy was somewhat off without Boyd once the band came on stage. It certainly took some getting used to in terms of anticipating a violin solo here and there and instead hearing Buddy's organ, but I was rather impressed. Overall, I didn't leave disappointed. Was it the best show I've seen? Of course not. But I'm not sure I even remember the best show I've seen. It certainly wasn't a bad one.
As Dave mentioned at one point in the show, I'll have to paraphrase since I'm still waiting for the torrent to finish "If you all are having even one tenth as good of a time as I am, I think we're having fun".
I know I'll probably get flack for giving this show four stars but I had a great time and I don't think it's fair to knock it down further due to song choice and whatnot given the current circumstances of the band.
I probably shouldn't speak for everyone in Atlanta, but I have little doubt that most music fans in the city and the surrounding areas would agree:
Atlanta looks forward to hosting any and every iteration of Dave Matthews Band for the foreseeable future. After nearly twenty years of seeing this band, they do not disappoint.

Made a super last second decision to go to this show out of concern that Wharf would get cancelled the following night. Got lawn seats, chilled in the back, not making much effort to really get too into the show. Ended up regretting that since Wharf got cancelled. 41 is always good, was disappointed in no Can\\\'t Stop or Idea of You since the new album was dropping.

This show was great. DMB 4.0 really brought it with their energy and played the absolute fuck out of the songs they played. I honestly cannot believe I\'m about to say this, but Stand Up (For It) was an absolute blast last night. Buddy Strong fucking owns, and this song proves it. If adding him can make a bad song epic, I am 100% on board with him. Also, his solo on LITHOG was the complete polar opposite of his kickass solos on Stand Up, Ants, etc. He can play both beautifully soft piano solos and raunchy, crunchy organ solos.
Jimmy Herring tore Satellite apart. I had no idea Satellite could kick so much ass. What a solo! #41 was an absolute treat with him.
The TGIY debut was fantastic. I really liked She as well!
Why I\'m giving 4 instead of 5 stars: The horns seemed a little low in the mix; from where I was standing, at least. Some songs, like STJL, Billies, and Ants, still seem to be missing something. I like the solos they\'ve put in to replace the violin, but they haven\'t worked out all the kinks just yet. Hopefully by the time I see them in July they\'ll have worked that out.

first show of the 2018 tour for me - survived the 2 year drought of DMB shows! I used to really dislike this venue but it has grown on me over the years - its' not in the best area, but it couldn't have been easier and more fan friendly this time. We pulled in a few hours early right into a great tailgate spot (only complaint is the two cars on either side of us whose occupants chose to sit in car with windows fully rolled up and engines on, blasting the rest of us with hot exhaust - get out and enjoy people!) got to our seats right on time despite a longer than usual security line. just in time to hear the first ever "That Girl is You" live! I'm one of the people who liked the song from first time i heard it, and live it rocked out and was even better.
The band seems very refreshed and excited to be out on the road and it translated to their performance - tons of great energy and band members all smiles - especially dave and a noticeably happier Stephan.
Highlights for me were the #41 run (Jimmy Herring killed the solo) , the ABI outro to LITHOG, and Typical Situation.
Staging is very artistic and colorful - love it. Too bad our Orange Beach show was cancelled/postponed but looking forward to Brandon!

Typical and LiTHoG were the highlights. Hello Again is great in a live setting. Billies and Ants is strange without a violin. Those and TStJL is where I noticed it the most. Good people around us at the show. And I thought it was good time no,matter what they play.

This concert was.... OK. The new dude on the piano was about as useful as a poopy flavored lollipop.
Don't get me wrong, there were some high points. STJL, Recently, 41, among a few others were stellar.
Stop plying bayou and stand up. They are just awful and painful to sit through. Listen Dave, "fetch just isn't going to happen".
I read a lot of love for LITHOG too. That song makes my ears bleed. But people love it, so rock on.
See you at Riverbend!

This show was incredible. I haven't seen the band enjoy themselves on stage that much in a loooooong time. The energy in the venue was amazing. Great blend of tunes with some insane jams. Buddy Strong or as Dave called him, Buddy Miller, is a great addition.

Overall Great Show! I really liked the live version of TGIY to start the show. Dave really went for it! Recently, Typical Situation and DDTW were stellar. And Jimmy Herring killed on Satellite and #41. I really dug the band's energy throughout!

This show was underwhelming for me. Maybe it was the seats I had and it just didn\'t sound great but I felt like the band was phoning it in. They jammed some of their songs way too long to the point where it got kind of boring. I saw thier previous show in Ausitn, TX and it was spectacular! This one, not so much. I think if anything this show really made it clear how badly I missed Boyd\'s sound on the fiddle. My advice to Dave: hire a new fiddle player!! I\'m going to a show in CA later this year, hope it\'s better than this one. While the set list looks great on paper, I just couldn\'t get over the missing violin. I found myself making the missing fiddle noise/sound while singing along with the song. Overall disappointing.

This was a good early tour show. There will likely be better shows later as the band develops the newer songs, but otherwise was really good. Side note -- to the fan that miracled me a pit ticket before the show, THANK YOU!
The show started with That Girl is You, which wasn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t unexpected given the release earlier this week. I actually like the song, and it was a decent opener and would be a good cool down song. It was pretty standard to the studio version, but I got the feeling it could really blossom the way other songs have. Bayou was a good play next, with Buddy showing off his skills. OSW, Hello Again, and WWYS were all good clean versions, with high energy from the band. Do You Remember was next, and I still am not impressed by it, maybe it will get better, maybe it won\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t. Recently and DDTW were strong versions, with the band really ratcheting it up for the ending of DDTW. Typical Situation was beautiful, could very well be the highlight of the night. This version had a really nice subtle jam at the end. TSTJL is always fun, even if it is a fairly standard arrangement. LITHOG was AMAZING. Buddy really adds to this one nicely. The American Baby outro was really strong, I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m loving that they are still crafting old songs into new arrangements and teases. Samurai Cop is feeling like the new Crash for me based on the screams when they started alone -- it\\\\\\\'s standard, it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s slow, it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s plodding, and I\\\\\\\'m not a giant fan of it live, but I don\\\\\\\'t hate the song. Stand Up is one that they have really improved upon with Buddy, This version was strong, rocking, and had a great interpolation. Jimmy Herring then came out for Satellite and #41, which was AMAZING. He had guesting on a previous Lakewood show (2016, they played Satellite then as well), and he went for broke on #41. Great version with a guest, and a fun Sojurn of Arjuna tease from Jeff and Rashawn. Ending the set was She and Ants. She is definitely a song Dave enjoys playing, but doesn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t seem like a DMB song to me, more generic 2010s rock, but we\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll see if it grows. Ants is always fun, and the new arrangement didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t feel like Boyd was missing at all.
Encore was Why I Am and Billies. I have to say I didn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t like Why I Am when it debuted, but it has really grown on me and I have come to enjoy it. Billies is Billies, if you complain about it, you\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'re probably not a DMB fan!
All in all a really strong show, and bodes well for the remainder of the tour.
