One of the best shows I have ever seen! Spoon, Seek Up, Minerets (great intro beat box!), So Damn Lucky (awesome jam at the end), Nancies!! Then by far one of the best encores of the year by the band.

GORGE! First time, camped-out solo and had a spectacular weekend! Visited friends in Vancouver WA before trekking up to George so that was icing on the cake! Met some cool people on the lawn too. :)

Probably my least favorite of the three nights. Wasn\'t a fan of the lovely ladies (enjoyed their n3 contributions) and thought the spoon version while nice to hear featured a way overpowering brandi voice. The wind was ridiculous and played with the sound a lot... I know that isn\'t the bands fault but def took away from my experience a little... Seek up was good and is my favorite song but i really miss the extended version of the song... Seems to be continually cut shorter each tour...

Now having to be able to wake up at the Gorge and have a full day of "Bucket Ball" and participating in different "fun activities", I had much anticipation for n2, especially after Friday's 3.5/5 rating I gave. Still not use to the acoustic set starting so early, my group and I showed up to the show semi-late. Taking our place in the hillside on the right-hand side, about 2/5 of the way up, I was buzzed up and already blowing all my adrenaline on "Stay or Leave". Personally, I still don't know what to think of the "2set" dynamic, especially the acoustic set. I think I would have just prefered the regular way of doing things after seeing the acoustic versions of "Recently"/"Ants"/"Typical". To me, the acoustic set was nothing special, but it did bring a comfortable, hang-out feeling that was just nice to relax and hangout on the hillside as the music played in the background. Electric set: "Minarets" has become one of my favorite openers, especially since seeing it N3 of 2010. I feel that it just has such a unique sound, almost eery feeling, that gets the crowd focused for what is to come, almost like the calm before the storm. "OSW" is just one of those songs that sounds great live. On to "Seek Up" which in reality was a very short version of the track. (Been there for the 27min version). At this point, I was really enjoying the build of the setlist. Just felt like DmB was taking it up notch-by-notch. "Rooftop" definitely took this opportunity to take a piss and grab a beer; not sorry about it. "Spoon" was the highlight of the night for me. In my #32 shows up to this point, it was one of the tracks I had yet to hear, and I instantly fell in love with Brandi. The first few strums, I was actually fighting with myself as to if I was hearing it correctly. I loved the move into "OOMH". Usually it feels like Dave goes straight in to a banger at this point, but to keep it mellow and build that tension for just one more track was outstanding, and it was incredible to see two "tour debuts" back to back; when was the last time that happened? And right on que, the yellow and red lights hit and "DDTW" blarred throughout the venue. "DDTW" was for sure the reason I woke up sore the next morning; calves were on fire from the jumping up and down and trying to land on that slope without eating shit. "If Only" 2nd piss break and beer run of the show; not sorry. And then "Nancies" happened. Energy was maxed out. Our entire group had cleared out our section, from what was once an area of about 15feet squared, was now the size of half a basketball court. This is why I always make sure to apologize to those close to us and offer any goodies we may have on hand. Comment of the night: BW: "Fuck dude, I just danced all over that guy's face". As I turn and look 3 ft in front of us and there is some guy, passed out, wearing all black, hoodie on, camouflaged with the dark hillside and he didn't even budge. If you are going to pass-out at the show, at the top of the hill, in your own space is the place to do it. Out comes the Lovely Ladies, and I was skeptical from reading all of the complaints on AM.org about them killing the shows and whatnot, but wow, how wrong people can be. I didn't even care that the next 3 songs were "Save Me"/"LBV"/"Stay" because the Ladies really brought something special to the show. Loved every second. Encore: "Sister"...expected. We get it every year in this encore slot. And then "SMTS>ASTB>TM(Tease)>Halloween" was incredible. The only thing that could've topped it off and I was praying for was for them to go from "Halloween" back in to "Too Much" to really drive us home, but it did not happen. Now, "Halloween" is my second favorite song, only trailing the "The Stone", but this is the 4th year in a row we have heard it in the encore, so it has lost a bit of its luster. However, I do feel this was the best "Halloween" since the first one I heard in N3 in 2011. Absolutely loved it. Rating: 4/5 Lowlight: weak acoustic...honestly about it Highlight:loved the construction of this setlist/"Spoon", Brandi, wow./"DDTW"/"Nancies"/Solid encore to make up for N1's encore.

Beautiful summer day. Gorgeous view. There with my now 13 and 24 year old daughters. Made friends with our neighbors Derrick and Rebecca and their kiddos. Fell in love with their two youngest kids, Harper and Henry. Became Facebook friends ever since. Dave once again brought joyful tears to my eyes more than once during the show 😹

Fuck The Lovely Ladies. I was so thrilled that the bitches weren't there Night 1. Was shocked that they were there tonight. Also, Brandi ruined the greatness of Spoon for me. I can somewhat handle if she just sang the Alanis verse. But, to give her multiple verses was a horrible decision. These fucking backup women singers add nothing, and take away so much.

Finally get to hear Dave's guitar again!! Love the acoustic set because of that fact. 28th DMB show at the Gorge starting with the summer of '99 and definitely one of the better ones! Got the lovely ladies back YAH BABY! Boy do they add to the mix. Only thing missing is Butch. BRING BACK BUTCH!!!! Can't wait for tonight! Box 212. Had two assholes in the box all the others were very cool!!!

This was my first time at the Gorge. All 3 nights were amazing. The set lists had a great variety and the band was incredible. I was really impressed by this venue as well. Gorge security did a great job of making sure fans that had gotten in line early got in first and without being trampled by people behind them that had gotten there later. As a result we got the best spot on the lawn all 3 nights. It was fun to meet other fans and we danced the whole time. It was such a blast!

The light show for this tour is absolutely unreal. Watching the light effects for Minarets, If Only, and Halloween are jaw dropping. Also probably the best version of Seek Up I've ever heard. The electric set was one of the best shows I've seen from the band.
