Fucking loved it. Stay with the Lovely Ladies was an all-time highlight for me. Great show! Glad the floating lantern thing didn't burn down the covered area between sets haha

Everything about this weekend was a bust for me. Flight was delayed overnight, lost my hotel and car rental for being a day late and I scrambled to make it for N1. Set lists were a bummer which I hoped would soothe my travel difficulties but I have unrealistic expectations with this band.

The energy at this show was great. The performances were all solid. Highlights of the acoustic set were a beautiful rendition of Loving Wings, and a throwback Two Step. I really enjoy the acoustic set Two Steps because they remind me of pre Crash era versions with the funky jam to end the song, and they're not too long or drawn out. The electric set started strong with three classics: Minarets, Pig, Jane. The highlight of the electric set was an all out version of Stay complete with the lovely ladies. I'm admittedly not a big fan of the ladies, but this particular song with them is a nice throw back to BTCS. Some people may not like the closer, but as a huge Talking Heads fan, I found to it to be very fun and exciting. An okay encore finished the show, it was nice to hear Belly Full from the new album. Overall, a solid energetic show with a pretty decent setlist.

Probably closer to a 4-1/2 than a five, but I'm in a great mood, so I'll be generous and round it up. Tonight could not have been more of an opposite experience from N1. Just fantastic. Acoustic set brought the first Loving Wings of the tour, a great Recently (although, what's the deal with not having the whole band playing that one), #27, and Two Step to close it, which I was grateful for. Not that I don't like the marathon electric version, too, but I've heard it enough that I appreciated the band knocking it off in the acoustic set. Electric set was a complete 180 from N1. Minarets sounded straight out of 1994, easily the best of the three versions I've heard in person. Pig was a nice surprise, too, the first time I've heard it since N1 in '06. Great versions of DDTW, Crush, and The Riff, as well as a beautiful rendition of Mercy (another tour debut). I'm not a fan of the Lovely Ladies, but if they were going to be used tonight, they got it right this time: no overwrought improv vocal solos overwhelming the music the way they did on LBV on N1, just well-placed background vocals that folded into the mix. Encore would be the one thing holding this one back, but only ever so slightly. Good Good Time made it for me (although why no capo on the guitar? When it turned up in 2010, it was completely spur of the moment; this one was planned). Grey Street was whatever, but fine. We were a Halloween away from this being truly epic, but I'm more than satisfied. Certainly the best I've seen at Cruzan since the weekend in 2010.

Great atmosphere and an excellent blend of songs. Very heavy with the BTCS so that is always a good thing. Acoustic set is also a nice change. No big rarities though or the rating would be higher.

My favorite show of all time considering I met a girl on the lawn that was lost. She wanted me to stay with her until we found her friends. She was a bit tipsy. We danced to Crush and for me that song will never be the same in an amazing way! She got tired though and fell asleep in my lap. I never found her name because I had to go meet my friends before she woke up. And her friends were acting weird or jealous toward her or me. After the fact, I think I found my soul mate, but I haven't been able to track her down through Ants, CL, or FB. All I want to do is ask this girl to marry me. Wish I can find her. The two things She did tell me is that she was from Savannah, GA and her and her friends she went to with(total of 4 girls one named Heather) worked in Special Education) God help me find her. I'm in love for the rest of eternity thanks to her.

Not a single repeat from N1 to N2 is a great outcome. A Halloween encore away from a show as awesome as any prior WPB show.

Minarets, Pig, and Jane to open the main set were fantastic. Love The Riff and Crush is always great. However, I knew the Ladies would come out and screw up everything. When I wrote my setlist predictions before the show, I got the last 5 songs exactly right leading up to the encore (in the correct order even). It is a sad thing when you can predict a guaranteed 5 songs before the show even begins, (especially when they are Everyday, You & Me, Idea of You, Stay, and Burning Down The House). This tour will forever be remembered as the worst decision by the band in the last 13 years by bringing them back. The Ladies basically ruined my DMB summer tour experience. What the fuck were they doing with the band this far south? Watch them now screw me and thousands over for the NC and VA shows.

If I have to see the LL it should be on Stay and it should sound like it did tonight. Pig was nice. STJL for the first time if you can believe it. But what a lazy ass encore.

The had me at Pig. Beyond that I enjoy the LL and IOY along with Burning down the House got me pumped. Grey Street is a solid song but not my favorite to close... but by that point we'd had so much fun singing along it didn't matter. :)
