Solid Friday show...band played some great tunes...nannies into warehouse is always a major highlight for me...rapunzel, crush, so right, I mean you can't really go wrong...

It was a weird set, but good. Shake Me is not an encore song. To be honest, its a song best for the beginning of the main set.

A fine Friday show, especially with the Paul Simon Slip Slidin' cover. Very well executed first half. Second, full band half went well with a great Jane, Pantala-Rapunzel, and Shake Me.. but could have been more in between. Great start to one of the better weekends I've had at Deer Creek.

Set list was pretty damn good for a night 1 show. From STJL on was as fantastic as it got. Would have been a 5 star show, if not for ending with SMLAM, which you might as well slapped everyone in the audience in the face instead. Such a horrible closer and you knew it was coming but just hoped it wouldn't.

Beachball and Bartender is a perfect way to start a show. Shake Me... not so much of a great closer but still a fantastic show throughout. Great acoustic selections, Crush, DIDO, Nancies - Warehouse, So Right, etc etc.... Best show of the weekend.

When I saw the two sets theme this year I wanted a dave and Tim bartender so bad. My first concert this year had a a freaking beach ball solo into Dave and Tim giving me all I wanted. Amazing style this summer. They are in a good place right now.

I had a great time, but this was a below average show. Neither set was anythings to write home about. So Right was the highlight for me. Not saying it was a garbage show, but 60% of the shows I've been to have been better. That gets you a two.

First Deer Creek experience. Loved it. Pit for N1. 2 set format. Bartender was awesome with acoustic set. Loved Dancing Nancies into Warehouse with full band. Good Good Time encore pretty sweet too.

Wasn't going to go to this show - live in IL - was driving around and 'Save Me' came on - started jamming out and thinking to myself 'why am I not going to Deer Creek?'
so basically that song was the deciding factor of me going to Indy and they opened set II with it !
is that destiny or what?!
p.s. not happy with the Shake me closer but oh well i still jammed like a mother

Great energy, great set, great crowd! A ton of fun. Some tour debuts, some great versions, some added parts to classic songs. The band was on fire and sounded great! The run in the electric set to close it out was phenomenal! So right especially. Only downer was shake me like a monkey to close the show.

I damn near cried when I hear SMLAM as the encore-and not out of happiness, either. While the two-set format has grown on me, I wasn't initially a fan, so I was really hoping for a strong electric showing. There were some solid songs, but all in all it just seemed to fall flat.

Great acoustic set! Stellar electric set - maybe i could have subbed out monkey and satellite for something else, but still a great set - Good Good Time was fantastic and then shake me like a monkey as the only encore song was the only major downfall i would say - follow shake me like a monkey with another song and you got a five star show - love the song, just shouldnt be the of the night

My 39th show overall and 12th at Deer Creek. This was my first '2 Set' experience. It was cool, but not life-changing. Had lower pavillion seats, which is always a winner at Deer Creek. Highlights for me were Bartender ala Live at Radio City Music Hall, Save Me opener, CRUSH (every year love it!), So Right outro, and Loui Loui back in Warehouse! Solid show, still happy to see the boys every summer.

The boys really looked to be enjoying themselves. Great mix of the new and old.....only thing keeping this at 4 stars was the "shake me" encore...if they would have followed up with one more song it would have been phenomenal! Looking forward to N2!

It was a show full of classics and truly an enjoyable evening for me. The only negative was the short, meh encore...Good Good Time was a first for me and it was awesome, but ending it with Shake Me and then leaving 10 minutes on the clock was a little disheartening! I suppose they were just leaving us wanting for night two!

Amazing set- thought the acoustic set was kinda hard to hear Dave. Loved the energy and the set lists. Nancies, Warehouse, Blue Water/ Repunzel was truly epic! Loved Two Step and Slip Sliding Away in acoustic set. My first show in the Pit, felt it was oversold but glad to be able to have such a close view of the stage.

Enjoyed seeing my first of the new two set format. In acoustic set enjoyed the surprise Beach Ball opener and Bartender was a highlight. In second set, So Right was spectacular and Dancing Nancies into Warehouse is always a favorite. All in all an average set, dampened a bit by the encore. While I enjoyed Good Good Time, would have preferred the show end on something besides Shake Me Like a Monkey.

First Dave show ever and it was absolutely incredible. You can have the highest expectations in the world (as I did) and they'll still blow your expectations out of the water. It kinda makes me mad though when I look back on songs I've heard live (such as pantala naga pampa into rapunzel) but I didn't know the songs at the time. Oh well, live and learn

I loved hearing Beach Ball, Bartender, Slip Slidin'Away, Snow Outside, I'll Back You Up in the acoustic set. The second set opened up great, but I feel somewhere in the middle it lost some energy. It picked up again around The Song That Jane Likes/So Right. I love Shake Me Like a Monkey, but not as a closer. I still enjoyed the show. I don't know if it was the crowd or band - just didn't feel high-spirited.

only thing that kept this from being a 5 was the short 'cheesy' encore. True fans were all stunned we didn't get a real closer. Done by 10:50PM!
Acoustic set was awesome and powerful.
Proudest Monkey stood out as a fav - very well done version. The band is tight as ever.

I don't get why they end with Shake Me. I can't remember ever seeing such a dumbfounded crowd at the end of a show in my life. It was a great 2 sets pretty much top to bottom and then they end with that. Just add Watchtower to the end of that encore and it may have been 5 stars for me. Other than that though, incredibly fun show. That run from STJL to Good Good Time was perfect.
