Seats weren't great but the show was! Section H row J. People around us were not annoying. Finally!! So many higghlights. First time hearing If Only. Fun to see buses pass on the way back to the Cambria.

Somewhat of a slow start and crowd was pretty flat at first. But as always the boys brought it and ended up blowing the roof off with Nancies->Warehouse, Jimi Thing w/ the crowd singing Thank You and band sining Sexy M.F'er was a lot of fun, Two Step was unbelievable and the encore of Hallow-Billies left the crowd with their jaws on the floor. I missed night one which I heard was amazing but this show was everything I've come to love about seeing this band live.

Tonight's Jimi Thing was unbelievable. Outro with SMFSTA, Thank You, and the old, super slow Jimi Thing outro. Also really loved the Time Bomb intro to Two Step to close out the main set.

What a show, incredible set list, awesome versions of Two Step, Jimi Thing, and Tripping. The energy from the crowd flowed through the band and out the music. WOW, thats all I can say. I'm thinking this show should be the next live trax!!! Thanks guys for a perfect night! Oh, even got the cheer the band as they got a police escort from the venue immediately following the show as they left for Minnesota.

One of the better shows I've seen, looking back. Saw some of my favorites (Never Know, Jane). Wish they would have been more spread out. First taste of Halloween and loved it.. an incredible Jimi (even though it's played too often now) with the crowd singing the first few verses. Nice Tripping Billies to close the night. One of the better sets I've seen.

my 41st show, the only thing missing from this set was #41 and the minarets they cut off the setlist encore was minarets, halloween, billies. still the n1,n2 combo was 99% perfect.

Not much else can be said about this show that hasnt already been said. Even songs that some Ants have a problem with like Cornbread, Shake Me, and Jimi were enhanced by the Deer Creek crowd which was on point throughout the entire show. With too many highlights to mention, this show will definitely qualify as a top 3 ever show for me after 30+ shows.

The best DMB show I've ever seen! The energy was amazing! I believe this could be turned into a Live Trax. Two Step was incredible...time bomb intro and an incredible solo by Carter. Jimi Thing was also incredible. A great skat, thank you falletin, and sexy MFer. Had trouble keeping a smile from spreading across my face the whole show.

Great show, Pig was a big moment for me. Very much enjoyed set list. Tim was out of his mind fantastic as they all were. Well worth the 6 hour drive. Only wish work had not kept me from Friday night. Venue SUCKS. Not a fan of Klipsch Music Center, too many negatives to list. Would only go there for DMB.

What a great show. Seven and Why I Am were a bit of a weird start, but the run of YNK through Pig was amazing. Nancies>Warhouse is always wonderful, loved the end jam on FTT, plus Jimi and Two Step were monsters. Great encore to top off the night. Best of the 4 shows so far this year, and a great all around show.

If you would have told me at the beginning of the summer that at Deer Creek I would hear: the stone, so right, typical situation, you never know, seek up, song jane likes, pig, nancies > warehouse, fool to think, and halloween > billies I would have called you a fool. First show ever. After everyone went crazy listening to Halloween and I got enough songs in me I realized I love this band and this music. This is a day I will always remember as I was introduced to DMB 6-23-12.
I'm not big on giving 5's but this is a special show that moved me so much I go to AT LEAST 3 a year every year after so justified.

I have a lil sister named Jane. I jumped ten feet in the air when Dave said "I got a lil sister named Jane" YNK, Pig, Warehouse (WOO), the Jimi outro were all highlights. Carter is less than a god but more than a man. That two step melted faces! Best show in a long time!

Between last night and tonight, this was a perfect collection of this tour's hits, plus some new surprises (Typical, FTT)
You Never Know, Seek Up, STJL, Pig - with each additional song, I just couldn't believe that the set could keep getting better.
Spaceman - I wasn't thrilled about having 3 BW songs already so early in the set, but I don't mind this one. Great song writing IMO. I liked the muted trumpet solo.
Fool To Think - unfortunately missed the first half due to a poorly-timed bathroom break, but made it back for the cool new end jam.
If Only - my favorite of the new ones. So good.
Two Step - so happy to hear this, only because I knew it meant we wouldn't be getting a Bomb Step encore, making the most likely option...
Hallowbillies - YES! It may not be much of a shocker to set list watchers, but I was hoping for this. My first Halloween, and that transition to Billies is so slick.

The band sounded great all night long. I was pleasantly surprised by Fool to Think. It's not my favorite song, but the instrumental part at the end of the song was great! Jimi Thing was entertaining and Carter was unbelievable on Two Step. I was really happy to finally hear You Never Know for the first time in over 30 shows attended.

hands down the best DMB show I have ever seen(my 10th)From start to finish it was non stop energy between the band and the crowd. That crowd was loud and on fire last night... and the band returned that energy with a setlist that may be hard to beat this tour... and very deserving of a Live Tracks or official Live album release consideration. So many special surpises; Could Have Been into Warehouse, the best version of Cornbread I have heard (the crowd was rocking to that song hard!), Shake me Like a Monkey, Pig (with a slow, slightly off beat intro that somehow came off sounding amazing!), Jimi Thing (with Thank You..... and Sexy MF morphed together very cool... a perfect song to end the main set with.. Two Step... followed by a crazy Halloween and Tripping Billies... just a magical show, one I will never forget. BYW- be sure if the band does a 2 day stand in your area... Do both nights! I got such an amazing weekend because I got 2 completely different shows, ending with the best setlist I could imagine (well... #41 would have been nice... but not gonna knock this killer show!!

After C'Ville 2010 I was certain that I'd never have a set of shows approach that level again. I've always advocated for Deer Creek being in the pantheon of locations to see a show, and this weekend proved why. The crowd was in it front to back, and these two nights left very little on the table and left nothing to be wanted for. Night two alone held its own with N2 in C'Ville; only a second encore was missing. I needed Pig to finish BTCS, and it was as amazing as I had been dreaming of. Insane energy front to back in the show. The Nancies=>Warehouse was phenomenal. First row in the lawn allowed us to dance in the streets throughout the night. Even knowing that Two Step was coming, and knowing the Halloween => Billies encore was sure to follow couldn't put a damper on it. Long story short, the band brought it intense this weekend. Couple that with another great weekend camping at the Creek, and this stand is at the top with C'ville 2010 on my list. Again, I can die in peace.

Have to agree with the others on this, this was the best Dave show I have seen. Pig and Fool to Think were great unexpected songs. Dancing Nancies into Warehouse made the crowd wild. The encore of Halloween into Tripping Billies was the perfect end to the best show I have been to and my first time to see Halloween live. I am on board with the others that said this warrants a Live Trax release!

My 12th show and the HANDS DOWN, ABSOLUTE BEST DMB SHOW I HAVE EVER ATTENDED. Not only did the band bring it tonight, but the crowd was a complete 180 from N1. Everyone was singing, clapping, dancing. It was just one of those shows where everyone just clicked and the band fired on all cylinders. I might be biased because they played a lot of songs I personally enjoy, but I think everyone loved tonights set. It just never let up, there was not a disappointment the entire night. The 6 song opening run is the best I have ever witnessed. This Night along with Night One (if for nothing else but for the renditions of Watchtower, Typical, and Ants) needs to be a future Live Trax. I am so happy I finally attended Deer Creek this year. I mean can you ask for much more between 2 nights than getting STONE, SO RIGHT, MIDSET WATCHTOWER, TYPICAL, ANTS (with an incredible intro), WHY I AM, YNK, SEEK UP, STJL, PIG, NANCIES>Stop time WAREHOUSE, JIMI, TWO STEP, HALLOWEEN>BILLIES. Vote Live Trax NOW for both nights!
SEVEN- I personally think this is a great opener. My favorite song from Big Whiskey, and Carter and Timmy always kill it. Great build up in the beginning and yet another amazing extended solo from Tim.
WHY I AM- My second favorite song off BW and a crowd favorite. A little improve from Dave but nothing more than just a short guitar intro. The crowd sang every “Why I am” along with dave and cheered after every “Groogrux King” It just really let everyone know that this crowd was pumped and going to be a good energy all night.
YNK- One of my favorites and a song I have wanted to hear for a long time. Every member of the band just shines so much on the song. Great placement in the set. Possibly my favorite Dave lyric, “Everyday should be a good day to die.” Great to hear this.
SEEK UP- An incredible 19 minute jam. “7 Billion” crowd. Boyd and the horns destroyed this song. It ended with a really strong jam. Boyd was really into it.
STJL- Are you kidding me!? A nice surprise, and awesome version. The violin and Dave’s guitar stood out more than anything at the beginning of the song and Jeff and Rashawn did a fantastic job too.
PIG- Both nights someone in the pit was wearing little pig puppets so I was wondering if they would play it and hear it was to end the best opening 6 song run I have ever heard. It was really cool because Carter started out really slow and so Boyd started out really slow. Then it slowly sped up. DMBalmanac says it was carter accidentally playing spaceman intro but seriously mistake or not, it was an awesome intro and the highlight of the song.
SPACEMAN- Bathroom break for most but it was a continuation of the set not really letting up. Rashawn had a nice solo as always and segued into…
CORNBREAD- Awesome solo intro from carter, a little bit of a stop time thing going on. I have never seen a crowd so into the Breadz. I love this song live, it is just so funky. Dave’s scatting was memorable as were Tim and the horns. I was worried this would kill some crowd energy but it amped it up exponentially.
NANCIES- Not one of my faves, I do not listen to it often. However, I do enjoy it live just because Boyd always has amazing solos. The backscreen footage was really surreal, creepy, and festive all at once. Made the song more tolerable, the only thing that could make it better was if it segued into…
WAREHOUSE- Holy Crap, one can hope but they just do not do it that often anymore. Stop time intro too is nice to hear again after many UTTAD style intros. Fonz got us shouting the WHOO’s and at this point I knew I was attending my favorite DMB concert ever. I have always wanted to WHOO lol.
STAY OR LEAVE- The band definitely needed to slow it down for a song after the run they have been doing but this was the perfect song to slow it down with as the crowd loves it and it always ends with such strong energy from the band.
FOOL TO THINK- I wish I listened to this song more but I just do not enjoy the album version that much. However, this was awesome. They had like a 3 minute outro jam that I am going to have to listen to again. It is a great outro and a great way to extend and re-energize this song.
JIMI THING- Best Jimi I have ever heard. Crowd sang the first 2 verses. Dave needed a guitar change halfway through the song but scatted a little during the switch which was a really cool moment. The best part was we got the Trifecta Outro. Not just one or two, but THANK YOU, SEXY MF, annnnddd 90’s JIMI THANG. The crowd sang Thank You for a good while and then the band joined in too. Then added Sexy MF part way through it and then Dave added Jimi Thang. The way he shuffled through each outro in a perfect pattern was astonishing. The crowd sang Thank You the whole time.
SMLAM- A great point in the set to keep the crowd energy up after an amazing Jimi outro. Crowd sang a long with Dave on this one too.
IF ONLY- I was very appreciative to get the debut of this song at Blossom but it has definitely come together a little more after a few plays. Strong performance with a nice jam on the end.
TWO STEP- Best way to end this night’s set. Crowd clapped along with Boyd really well. Boyd actually did some really interesting stuff throughout the song. TRIPPING BILLIES- A fantastic version and an amazing way to end the night. I have to admit since I had this same exact encore at Blossom I was hoping for one more song after it to make it that much more special, but I can’t complain that much as it was an amazing way to end this concert.
Night 2 needs to become a Live Trax as soon as possible and one can only hope to get both nights released as N1 had some amazing tunes too. I could not have asked for a better show to be my last for 2012 and keep me satisfied until the new studio album is released. I will definitely be attending Deer Creek from now on.

This was my 41st show and it is making a strong case of being the best show I've been to. The YNK, Seek Up, Jane, Pig run was amazing. Nancies>Warehouse was outstanding. FTT w/new outro. Jimi w/ simultaneous triple outro. Two Step always delivers. Halloween>Billies.

Song that Jane likes was excellent as well as Fool to Think. Loved Nancies into Warehouse (w/woos). You never know was one that i had been waiting for. It was worth the wait for me. First Dave show front row!! My cheeks still hurt from smiling so much. Hands down the best show I've ever seen from them, but I'm only on my 20th show or so. Everyone was smiles on stage and they were about to go into a song when they heard us sing "thank you for lettin me be myself again" they changed their mind and joined in. Dave of course had to throw in sexy mf shakin that azz. Carter was giddy like a little kid and Boyd was havin a great time dancin circles around Dave. Even though I just had knee surgery not two weeks ago, I was shakin my bones and in complete bliss at the show that unfolded before me. What a treat! Today would be a good day to die.

Starting at Dead Creek with the rainbow that circled the sun..followed by this show that was by far one of the most exciting set lists I have seen. Highlights were Pig, Fool to Think, and Hallowillies. It's too bad Minarets was cut from the encore, that would have been an encore for the history books. Overall a perfect day.
