Amazing show!

Dave and the boys rocked out and made for a great night.

Loved Big Eyed Fish into Bartender to open the set
Grey Street, Dancing Nancies, Satellite, Crush and #41 all among my favorites. And Tripping Billies to end the night!

Absolutely great setlist tonight. Got my alltime #1 and #2 in Grey Street and 41. Great energy from the bamd and hell of a night for Boyd Tinsley. They seemed to be really enjoying each other. Sat with mom, Erin and Pete. Caught a stick from Carter at the end!! Gave it to mom.

Dave and Boyd had great synergy (which is rare), the horns were dead-on and the set list was better than anyone could ask for in a 2.5hr show. Only complaints: The lawn was full of slobbering frat-boys with their weekend-hippy girls - talking incessantly and loudly, the mix was off and the volume was too low.

This was my first show after an 8 year hiatus. While it may not have been the perfect set or performance by some people\'s lofty standards, I must say that this show was nothing less than mind-blowing to me. After such a long time away, seeing my favorite band again was like a religious awakening. There were many times that I was overcome with emotion and nearly (or actually) came to tears - the climax of #41 specifically. By the end, I was exhausted both mentally and physically, but renewed at the same time. I\'ve come to realize that it wasn\'t just the music or the band that hit me so hard. Instead, it was how I was taken back through the years since I\'d last seen them; I was feeling the weight of everything that had changed in my life, for better and for worse, since 2004. Marriage, career, the birth of my children, love, loss, fear, pain, happiness, joy, existential battles, enlightenment... the list goes on... All of it was brought out of the deep well of my soul as I once again opened myself to the sound of DMB, the soundtrack of my youth. I realized how major a part of my life this band once was, and still is. This was more than a show. It was a baptism - a Sunday morning revival, down by the river side.

The setlist was vintage 2002 with a few more recent songs. The night was defined by classic segues from Big Eyed Fish --> Bartender, Proudest Monkey --> Satellite, So Much to Say --> Too Much. Add Crush, Dancing Nancies and the full band Mercy & Gaucho... I was in heaven!

A very good show, for Charlotte. Sometimes, it seems that the guys save their less exciting shows for certain venues, and this is evidenced by the fact that they chose here to debut Monkeylite and Cornbread. But I don't think any of us were ready for Blackjack and Can't Stop (1 of 3 and 1 of 8, respectively), which made the show worth it entirely. I love seeing this band year after year, but I don't care for predictability. Needless to say, when Time Bomb segued into Billies instead of Two Step or Watchtower, it was much welcomed. Not that there's anything wrong with either of those songs. But, again- predictability.

Song selection aside, there was tightness. The most disappointing thing of '11 and '10 was the performances were getting real sloppy. 2012 is the tightest I have heard the band in years and it restored faith in them. All that, with a side of having awesome seat buddies and laid back security that let me bring my camcorder in, it was a concert that I'll not soon forget.

Loved every minute! Think the ticket should have said the "Boyd Tinsley Band" though... he was on FIRE!!! Just missed having no Jimi Thing or Watchtower.

Great show! Band was on and the setlist really gained steam as it rolled on! GA Pit was great and a tour debut of Blackjack was mint. Home of the GrooGrux King was served well!

Cant really ask for a better summer tour setlist. best show so far in the tour, by far. Lawn was, as usual, filled with radio fans who did not know a Damn thing. Pretty chill crowd around me though, cant complain. great show. Best part. BoydFNTinsley was finally used to his full potential.

Solid show. USC/Clemson Frat bros. were in abundance so we snuck down to the reserved section from the lawn. Really was a great show. First time in a while where i thought that Boyd was truly on fire.
Seemed like the band really enjoyed playing tonight!

Bartender is one of my favorite live songs, so to hear that with BEF, Monkey and Satellite, I thought it was a strong start to the show. Then the momentum slowed a little bit in the middle of the show, but it rebounded nicely and finished strong. I personally loved Time Bomb. The reaction from the lawn was "WTF is this?", but I liked it, esp since I had never heard it live before. I would've liked to hear Ants, Watchtower and/or Crash, but I can't complain when I hear Nancies, Crush, Satellite, and five songs from Crash! Tripping Billies was also A LOT better encore than Cornbread, which is what they played last time at Charlotte.

Highlights were Bartender #41 Crush and So Much To Say ASTB Too Much. Guacho was awesome. Only thing missing was the time bomb two step encore but overall an incredible show and awesome night.

The show tonight was awesome! I was pleasantly surprised on the set tonight. It was a bit of a slow start but it definitely picked up towards the end. Absolutely loved the last run of songs in the set. The band was extremely tight tonight, especially during the outro of #41

Great show overall. Lots of tour debuts and anytime I get a song I haven't seen its a win for me. Loved Mercy and Guacho live and had a blast all night long....although most of its spotty at best as we pregamed pretty hard. Rarity for me these days. Caught a stick going into encore break and I absolutely love free souvenirs. Pit was not as packed as I expected so that was another welcome surprise.

Started slow, but was a great mix. Really enjoyed hearing some of the classic segues and a lot of songs for the first time on the tour. SMTS into Bridge into Too Much was a classic I haven't heard in a long long time. Fonz and Carter kill Gaucho, and the baritone sax is awesome during Mercy. Really enjoyed the show a lot! Too bad it took me forever to get home. Oh, and Black Jack is freaking awesome, I wish Dave had some lyrics though.

If I could give 3 and a half I would. It was a fun show for sure. Charlotte is a cool city and a great place to see a concert. The show itself was just slightly above average for me. I like Cornbread. It is fun to sing along to, but it needs to be retired for awhile. The same is true for Blackjack. Cant Stop just needs to stop. But everything else was very good. SMTS, Too Much, Tripping Billies, #41, Why I Am, and Nancies are always great. I am loving Mercy too.

Best show I have ever been to. Wild setlist but damn it worked! Dave was a fool+ some. We all looked like a big red velvet birthday cake, apple pie and collerd greens he said! He stole Boyds shades. Bartender-what? Awsome. Cornbread, the only song I was dreading to hear-G-R-E-A-T! Sat- spot on. Time Bomb-WOW, Energy- 12 on a 10 scale. Did I mention Bartender? Blackjack-jamed! Billies-perfect! GRRRRRate! EPIC! Good Damn time!
