Really good set, Minarets opener was wicked. Kinda disappointed with encore though. New/Rare: Write A Song, Blackjack, Rye Whiskey, Cant Stop, Still Water

Energy was great. Band was tight. Setlist was ok, 5 repeats from the night before. My 89 show front row in the pit stage left. The fans around us were awesome, singing, dancing and lots of love. Also, got one of Carter's drumsticks....finally. Couldn't have asked for a better night. Thanks DMB!

The band was on tonight. The set list did not disappoint one bit. Very few repeats from the previous night. This was the first time I have heard Minarets live!! The monkey double header (SMLAM, PM) early in the set really set the tone for a great night. I love the way Lying in The Hands of God has evolved. Can't Stop was the only song I could have done without. The band had great energy and were in sync all night. This was one of the few shows that I have been to where Carter did not have an extended solo. Nevertheless, Boyd and Jeff tore it up during their solo's. The encore left me looking forward to Monday night and just like the main set, did not disappoint. Jimi Thing with the sexy MF outro was the a perfect way to close out the show.

I hate this venue! The person who designed this place should be shot! 18,000 people and how many bathrooms? The setlist was nothing really great. Blackjack was nice.

Good show. Minarets was great. When they are tight, they are unbelievable. I loved the ending of Lying in the Hands of God. Really liked Blackjack. As always, satellite is a freaking beast and goes under a lot of radars. These moments were highlights, but I would still not bother acquiring this show.

Loved hearing Minarets as the opener. First time hearing Black Jack which was great. Always love the sexy motherfuckers ending to Jimi Thing. Makes me smile.

Black Jack was awesome.. great great jam on lying in the hands of god, still water into ddtw was uplifting.. the whole irvine crowd was quiet.. you could always here Dave over the crowd (unlike the Gorge shows)

bought a ticket in the parking lot from a very cool, and very pretty oil field safety worker from Alaska, and I think she was embarrassed sitting next to a 53 year old Dave fan - but, it was her first show and since we had three "Dave Virgins" in our row, it was great to see that she really enjoyed it - she was on her feet, dancing, singing along, making hand gestures - the same stuff we all do... Another DMB fan is born!

Great show, solid set list. Notable versions of Lying in the hands and Jimi Thing. Good extended play of Ants Marching, Black Jack and Satellite were also highlights. The Irvine and Chula Vista shows really seemed to complement each other.

Great show for Irvine, the crowd seemed much more into it that last year. The band was tight. Dave's voice sounded great, lots of skat at this show.

A 3 1/2 in my book but have to round up. It was a solid show with high points for me - the band has been so solid for many years now, but it did not stand up to the energy and the set list of Chula Vista the night before, nor the truly stellar show here last year. High points: Minarets opener - Nice, been ages for me; Proudest Monkey - nice & slow the way it should be played - great kicking back on the grass tune; Hands of God - so beautiful, but this last year in LA was amazing; Alligator Pie -love me some NOLA!; Blackjack - 1st time - dig the Rolling Stones sounding groove; Rye Whiskey - so perfect for Dave - made me crave one myself: Bartender, please?. Some of the classic favs were good too - very happy but not blown away. Overall, I was happy & really enjoyed the show - which is great for my first time on the lawn in ages.

Solid show! loved it as always. First show with Jules who is now a DMB convert.
FINALLY own a DMB shirt. :)
Irvine crowd was better than all of the LA crowds so far, which really surprised me.
Still upset about not getting tickets via the warehouse for Monday night at the Hollywood Bowl. my bank take-over cost me on this one!!

Front and center again. First ones on line today as opposed to second last night. After Brett Dennen was done with his set I called him over and gave him a LoVE pin, he then handed me the only pick he used tonight. Spread the LoVE! Another magical night and another setlist! A black Gru Grux King pick also!

this was such a solid show. the best shows always start off with a song you really want to hear! dave got mvp tonight. his scatting was off the charts on about 5 songs. jimi thing was one of the best scats i've heard
