Best show to me because it was my first DMB show. Pouring rain during Everyday (pretty much favorite song) and diggin a ditch plus the grey street and watchtower encore was just so awesome. loved the Too Much into Ants. Maybe another one or two songs for the encore would have made it even tht much better.

Rainy shitshow on the lawn. Every year I tell myself I'm going to get a seat for darien, then i wait to the last minute and get a lawn having convinced myself that its not really as bad as i build it up to be. I've seen the band play at this venue six times. This year took the cake.

Somewhere between the torrential downpour, the showdown with my bitchy ex-girlfriend, the dying cat shrieks raping my eardrums, the smell of human excrement, and the sweat of 15000 wet, humid bodies permeating the lawn, i whispered a quiet thanks to the dmb god's that i have seats for spac.

Set-wise, loved the jtr opener. SUAD, ditch, Grace, and the closing segue were highlights. Corn-stand, RecentCorn, now TooMuchCorn? Like that the boys are being creative. Lets be honest, astb segues have gotten kind of stale. I'm glad they figured out that there are other songs in their catalog open ended enough, and with similar chording, to make cool segues possible. Overall, the set was a little BW heavy, but the bro/hoe-dudes standing around me really got into songs like You & Me and seven...The band definitely knows how to play to this crowd. All the pink polo's within view kinda just stood around with blank expressions during sweet up and down, which was irritating as i was the only person in my immediate area who was visibly pumped up by the song.I had hoped to see a few popped collars flapping in the breeze created by vigorous bro-moshing, but alas, i had to enjoy this one by myself. I hate to admit it, and as much as I wanted to resist, i couldn't help but enjoy the Everyday in the rain, however i failed to grasp why the lawn cheered every time it thundered, like it was dave's influence controlling the weather or something.

One thing darien never fails at is getting me pumped up for spac, which, with the screeches of dying cats still ringing in my ears, it accomplished successfully. Look for the return of Minarets->Blue Water at spac, but stand up fans will have to wait a little longer 'till Alpine, as abi->dreamgirl will open n1.

Loved JTR as the opener, SUAD, grace, too much-->ants was incredible. Loved grey street as E1 and watchtower was great as always. Would have been nice to hear a song from before these crowded streets, but still a great show.

My sister bought us front-row (reserved) seats for my birthday. Amazing show made even more amazing by our proximity to the band. Just missed out on grabbing one of Dave's picks too!

I saw them here last year and this year I enjoyed it even more. Everyday was an amazing song - the entire crowd was singing and dancing as the rain began to pour by the end of the song. I was under the roof and misty rain was still being blown in by the high winds. Dave began singing "Blame It On The Rain" as the rain came down (which may have been the idea of Rashawn Ross because I saw him whisper something to Dave right before he began singing it). Corn Bread>Too Much>Ants Marching was also a great way to the set before the encore. Seven was awesome too.

Loved th JTR opener! And my girlfriend couldn't have been happier that they played grey street along with all along the watchtower as the encore. SO glad that we were in the pavillion cuz otherwise we would have gotten soaked! Other than my extreme sloppy drunkenness which caused an argument over the driving situation after the show with my girl, it was a great show! Good ppl, good vibes, great Dave inside the tented pavillion!

Mainly a low-key set, with no real powerful jams. Ditch and Grace were interesting set list additions, but didn't really grab me. Cornbread > Too Much tease > Ants was the show highlight, with Everyday and the encore deserving honorable mention. Not a great show on it own, but really psyches me up for SPAC.

This show was great as well! Not as good as the other two I had been t, but Dave never disappoints. The end of the setlist was unbelievable, with Cornbread-->Too Much (partial)--> Ants Marching, and a Grey Street into All Along the Watchtower closer. Definitely one of my favorite Dave moments.

JTR opener was perfect considering the huge rainfall throughout the first half of the show. the rain really brought everyone together in my area as everyone was dancing with everyone. Mostly during everyday. Real Solid show. i was glad to see my first Watchtower. The tailgating was amazing as it always is at darien. good people good fun.

Solid show. Cornbread -> Too Much (tease) -> Ants was one of the best closers that I have seen! Other hightlights include JTR opener, Everyday in the rain, and great encore of Grey Street and Watchtower! I can't wait for 2012.

this was a solid show. the highlights for me were definitly cornbread-->too much partial-->ants... that was a great closer! JTR was a very good opener, I love that song and hadn't heard it since Darien back in 2006...i could have done without so much BW but hey if its what they want to play, what can we do right? I've seen it written on here before..theres no such thing as a bad DMB show, but playing so much of the BW prevented this from being a GREAT show. When they first started playing Everyday it was a real downer for me b/c i've seen it so many times, but it turned into a real moment to remember with the downpour and the 'blame it on the rain' interpolation...i'd say it was a hilight of the show. SUAD was cool, Ditch and Grace were awesome, and Gravedigger was also solid. I felt like the show was VERY mellow, but at least the songs that were played were good. The encore was great...Grey Street in the E1 spot is awesome, and it gave me hope of possibly a halloween or something in the E3 spot, especially since it was only 1030 or so! Overall I had a great time and it was a good show, next up camden!
