12th show overall, 6th this year. The experience of a DMB show at a baseball game was very cool. I loved being on the field in GA, gave me freedom to roam around between groups of friends. We decided not to try and get very close, but instead hung back where it wasn't so packed and had a great time dancing and singing all night.
Highlights:
DDTW - I think this might be my favorite opener. It just starts a show off with a perfect amount of energy and intensity.
Stay Or Leave - an absolutely gorgeous song full band
SMLAM - crowd got into this one
Improv>>Rhyme/Reason - with Robert Randolph, this was the best moment of the show (or so I thought until the encore)
SMTS>>ASTB>>Too Much[fake]>>Ants Marching - perfect way to end the set, was very happy to get the first bridge in a long time.
The ENTIRE encore - Baby Blue was a very special moment, the crowd got amazingly quiet for 18,000 drunk people. Then Dave floors me and starts playing Blue Water. I was the only person around me at the time who knew what was going on and I just stood there with my mouth agape. PNP-Rapunzel then wrapped up a fantastic show. Very sad it was my last of the summer.

24th show and I would probably have to rank it as #23 out of #24. The first 10 rows of General Admission were great (hardcore DMB fans). Beyond the first ten rows though the crowd, or should I say bar patrons listening to background music/wannabe MMA fighers/high schoolers looking for a drunk hook-up were terrible. I saw two seperate fights where someone was actually knocked down from a punch. I saw a security guard having to knock on a porta-potty door to ask two females who were making out in the dirty porta-potty to get out. The general admission experience was just terrible. I can't count how many times someone would just try to shove past you to get closer to the stage. I've been to other non DMB general admission concerts, but for some reason this crowd was just bad.
As for the actual show, I think the setlist was about average. The encore and the Goldigger intro helped, but after seeing DMB at Alpine this year, this show can't even compare.

Show was good. New songs are great live. There are a lot of tall people in Des Moines. We were right in front of the sound booth, couldn't see over everyone elses heads.
First show in two years, so I was pleased. Sounded great, great stage, great songs. No complaints here. The folks I went with were Dave Matthews Band show virgins. They said is was awesome, so there you go!

Great show, obnoxious crowd - at least the portion of the crowd where I was standing in GA. Apparently my brother and our wives were among the minority - people who came to watch the performance and listen to the music. It seemed that the main priority of most others was to party with the Dave Matthews Band as their background music. I wish these people would just stay home and put one of the many live DMB albums into their CD player. We were constantly bombarded by people shoving through the crowd on their way to/from getting more to drink or simply forcing their way up closer to the stage. They would say "my friends are right up there" or "it's okay, I just went pee" or "excuse me, I was there first, I've been here since 4:30". I'll admit, I didn't get there until 6:00, but once I got as close as I could to the stage, I DIDN'T LEAVE! Not to pee, not to get more drinks, so don't give me that crap. I was there to hear every ounce of awesome music I could, but others made that hard to do.
With that out of the way - the music:
At the beginning of the show I told my brother that if they played one of two songs, I would be happy regardless of the rest of the setlist - Seek Up or Best Of What's Around. I have now been to 9 shows and these have been on my list since day one. Unfortunately they played neither, but that doesn't mean I was unhappy. And who was I kidding? No matter what they would have played, I would have been happy because they have such a great repertoire to choose from.
I'd have to say the highlights for me were:
Why I Am - my favorite from the new album
I Got A Woman / Louisiana Bayou Teases - It was just fun to see Robert Randolph come out and jam with the band. It seemed like maybe RR pulled out the Lousiana Bayou tease all on his own. Just before he started singing, it seemed like Dave was trying to figure out what the hell he was going for.
Burning Down the House - Hadn't heard the band play this one before, and it was fun cover.
Too Much Tease into Ants Marching - They tricked me so many times here. Near the end of SMTS I told my brother that they were going to take it into Too Much, as usual. Then they stopped and the lights went down. So I said, "I guess I was wrong." Then out of nowhere the lights shoot back on as they jump into ASTB. Then I thought, "Ahhh, they got me... I WAS right!" Then they play the first phrase of Too Much and all cut out - except for Carter with the Ants Marching intro snare shots. Very good ending to the main set.
The Maker - I had honestly forgotten about The Maker when I had told my brother the two songs that would make me happiest. This summer I went through a phase where I listened to Tim & Dave's Radio City rendition of The Maker again and again. So I'd have to say that this was the overall highlight of my night. I don't think it was my favorite version of it I'd ever heard - I think Tim's distorted guitar dirtied up more than I preferred. But it was still great to hear it live.

A C+ show. Audience marred the show by being far too push up front. Moved back to by the soundboard tent. First DMB show where I actually thought it possible that someone could get crushed and die at a show. Non-warehouse fratboy crowd blew.

Blue Water.. 'nuff said for me! Song highlights were the Maker, BW, FTWII, a powerful DDTW opener (as usual) and an amazing Stay or Leave.
This was the bands 3rd show in 4 days and it definitely showed at various parts of the evening. Boyd was motionless, Dave wasn't very talkative other than "thanks for comin, everybody drive safe" but they played amazing and tight as usual. Great night!

Robert Randolph and the Family are always a great way to start the night...heavy on the Michael jackson tribute for sure!
The place was packed and the crowd did some serious tailgating! Dave and the crew were great...Crash & Crush back-to-back?!? It was definitely a cool surprise. The new stuff has really settled in and its great to hear the band take it to the next level!

I had a great time! Warehouse folk are so awesome. We brought our 6 year old daughter and everyone was great with her. She got a drumstick, and after You and Me (her favorite song) Dave looked over at her and said Hey Beautiful. SO UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Show was pretty good, but I was actually a little dissapointed in Robert Randolph. Thought he would have jammed much more.

It’s always great to see my favorite band in my back yard so I'm not even about to critique the performance or set-list. I just wish I could have danced on the dugout more without the threat of being kicked out... several times! I hope the band felt welcome and as excited as the majority of the crowd around them and thus likely to come back to the great state of Iowa sometime in the near future. - Severe

The three hour wait in the GA was worth it. Closest I've ever been for a show. DDTW is always a welcomed, yet predictable, opener. The BW songs have matured nicely. SMLAM & 'Gator Pie are awesome live and should be setlist staples for years to come. But looking forward to next year when the lists return to a better mix. Not a huge fan of the band playing covers but Dave rocked BDTH and The Maker was a treat and made the encore. Never seen Rapunzel as a closer and left me a little unfulfilled. Overall a solid show.

stay or leave, rhyme and reason, and the maker made this show. rhyme and reason and the maker were a special treat, the jam on crush was awesome, tim reynolds was the man, and boyd's solos always rock. predictable opener and lots of new album, but those couple rare songs saved it. always a blast to see dmb though!!

Great opener with the curtain dropping into DDTW.
Blue Water would have been nice...
The new songs have matured a lot since they first aired. and Coffin and Tim had a really nice solo battle during Crush that lasted a solid 2-3 minutes.
Overall great show, but i'm a bit biased as we were literally front row center.
