Flew in from Denmark to see the concert.
Stood to the left of the sound booth, sorry if i annoyed anyone with my singing along :)

Most people there came for Bruce, but after a couple of tunes it looked like the band found some new fans.

Carter's drum solo was especially well received.

Good show, but short as expected. Crowd mainly waiting to see the Boss, so fairly mild reaction overall.
Highlights Carter's solo in Two Step, Ants Marching and Watchtower finale.
Luckily Friday night's gig at Brixton Academy was a good fix, cause if I'd only seen this one I'd be craving for more... :)
See you guys in Lisbon, let's aim for another Live Trax!!

good stuff, too short. Who does this guy Springsteen think he is?

In a largely bruce orientated audience, Dave rocked hyde park. People around me who'd never heard DMB before were impressed by Carter's drum solo during Two Step and Boyd's violin masterclass on Ants Marching.

And they can't come back soon enough...

Good show but short. Was pleased to have seen them at Brixton the previous nights.

The show was good, even though you pretty much could have predicted the set list ahead of time. It was nothing like night 2 at o2 here in London, but a couple bright spots. Hopefully the stairway out of watchtower continues it's crazy. Also i've never been a huge fan of it, but you might die trying seems to be getting better and better.

My second gig in three days. Was disappointed that the band were only allocated 75 minutes - but it meant that they tore into their set. Hysterically welcomed by a few pockets of DMB fans, in a 50,000 crowd, mostly killing time for the headlining Bruce Springsteen. But the applause increased after each song, and then roared approval of Carter's blistering, solar hot solo during Two Step. By the time the echoes of 'no reason to get excited' (from All Along the Watchtower) had drifted into the evening air, the entire 50,000 were on their feet screaming for more! My daughter and I were recognised as DMB fans and surrounded by Springsteen's fan: "Who was that?" "Are they new?" "Where did you come across them?" What're their albums called?" Clearly a lot of new fans were made that day. A short but triumphant set. Now I have to wait until the next time they come back to England.........Unless I catch a flight over to the US.

Having to appreciate that this wasn't a DMB gig and so no full show, and no encore, and more-limited jamming, I give this show a 5 because all songs were brilliant, especially two step. Like a previous post, YMDT seems to get better and better, I've never paid it much attention before receiving LT15 through the post and hearing it at Hyde Park. I was left gutted that I spent the rest of the evening listening to someone else and not being able to go to tonight's show in Wolverhampton.

Good show but most of the crowd were there for Springsteen I think. People right at the front seemed very happy but the further back in the crowd you went the less interest there was in Dave and the boys. Still, all in all a good show for those that like dmb music.

A very basic show. Nothing out of the ordinary or special. The UK crowd was clearly there to see Springsteen. Dave seemed to pick up on that.

Great set from DMB, I'm sure Dave knew what to expect i.e. that the vast majority of the crowd of 48,000 were there to see The Boss, but I thought that only seemed to make the Band even more determined to rock the event.
Amazing power and energy in their 80 minutes or so, and a great mix of new stuff and classics. Having been to shows in the States earlier in the year, I knew to expect Stairway to Heaven during All Along the Watchtower but for many around us, it was a new experience and it certainly got the crowd going. Thought Springsteen's fans gave DMB a great reception.
Met some more Scots and the usual eclectic mix of DMB fans from all over the world, on to Wolverhapton next for the 4th and final leg for us.
