Wow, that was great. Much better than the last time they came to Nashville at Starwood in '06. Some Davespeak includes "lozenge" before the Last Stop tease and "I'm a Spaceman. I'm a monkey. I'm a rabbit. And I'm a spaceman." before Spaceman. First Seek Up of the tour was a nice surprise. Carter's solo on Two Step was off the hook. Coffin and Rashawn were especially good on Grey Street, among others. What a great show.

The show was as usual spectacular!!! Perfect night and Dave and the boys gave their all. My only complaint was the really drunk guy 2 rows down who wanted to yell at everyone and start fights rather than enjoy the show!

Great crowd, what you would expect from combining Nashvillians and Dave fans, as is evidenced in the crowd singing the lead of Jimi Thing. I got my car towed that day and still had a great time.

One of the best setlists I've ever seen. Dave let the crowd do most of the singing on Jimi Thing which was fun. Lots of teases. There was even a tiny little #40 at one point. Obviously Watchtower blew the roof off and the added Stairway to Heaven and Fire interpolations made it that much stronger.
Highlights: Jeff and Rashawn on Bartender (jeff - pennywhistle), Seek Up, mid-set Ants, Blue Water and Watchtower.

Definitely not the best show they've played, but it was still a fantastic setlist; there was great energy and the crowd was really into it. Cannot believe I was so fortunate to hear Blue Water... it's a song I've loved ever since I discovered it seven or eight years ago.

On a personal note, I had stopped following the band after '05 b/c I hated Stand Up so much. When I heard they were coming to Vandy, I decided to get tickets, mainly because I live within a 20-minute walk of the stadium. I'm so glad I did! Hearing the band now, they sound more like their old selves than they have in nearly ten years. I'm back on the train :)

The stadium was great. It was great to look around and see just how many people were there. Definitely more than ever were at Starwood. Probably close to 36 or 37,000. (Stadium's capacity is a little under 38, and it was packed except for the far end sections; however, the front half of the field was packed as well, so it made up for the roped off sections).

Overall: GREAT SHOW.

Had such a great time at this show, and had just driven 6.5 hours from Charlotte the night before. This had to be the best 2 Step I have ever heard. Carter Beauford, you never cease to amaze me. That drum solo was unreal. Cornbread was great again and we got Blue Water. Dave also told a great story about LeRoi and how he knew he loved "Why I Am" because even tho Roi didn't like to dance he had these facial expressions that indicated he was feelin the song. We loved it. Dave also todl the story of the first time he played Recently to try and convince Carter and Roi to play with him. There was also a pretty nasty fight on the field during the show where 7 policemen had to carry out one drunk guy who apparently punched a girl. Other than that, another spectacular time in SEC country.

Outstanding show! Absolutely sick setlist. If they would have played 41 I would never go to another concert because it would never be topped, but I will take that concert any day. I was stunned by AATW. I called Bartender on the opener once I saw they put the 12 string out. My friend that was there with me was bullshitting before the concert that AATW will be the finale and would not let up about it the whole concert and once steffan strummed that bass we went nuts! Good Show. The crowd was the deal breaker for me though. It seemed like all the people around me just wanted to talk or text on their phones. It was more of a social event for the college kids of Vanderbilt. Also, a sloppy girl behind me fell and split her forehead open and was bleeding all over. other than that the set list was pretty good. It was great to hear Blue Water after all of these years. Watchtower->Stairway to Heaven-> was awesome.

Saw Tim and Stefan as well. Dave must have snuck out the back door. Anyway, back to the show. A surreal experience, Seek Up was amazing, they REALLY went all out with Burning Down the House. 19th show for me overall, 2nd in Nashville.

Great weather, beautiful campus and nice town.

The energy was high, the songs were long and there were lots of jams! Why I Am is awesome - the boys absolutely SHRED it.

The entire first verse of the Last Stop tease was painful- Mr. Matthews you are a mean man! That's ok - I am sure he will remember how to play it come Alpine.

Overally, no complaints - just a solid show.

Wow, what a great day! Nashville is awesome. Crowd was definitely into the show, and the stadium was more packed then I thought it would be. The new songs were excellent. Nice story about Roi before Why I Am. That song is a beast live. Fans on the field tried to get Last Sop going with a chant and got a verse of the song. The horn section was outstanding tonight. Jeff played the shit out of the pennyhistle at the end of Bartender. I miss Roi, but there is no better replacement than Jeff. Carter rocked out the solos during Two Step, it looked like Dave and Stefan were rying to get him to take about 4 solos before they finished the song off. Blue Water was as close to a complee version as there has been yet. All in all, great time in the Music City.

Also, SUPER stoked on the Blue Water Baboon Farm we got rather than the tease that previous shows had. Overall, a lot of energy from the band. Jeff Coffin really did great, after seeing him my first time at Alpine in 08 I knew he was a perfect add to the group. Dave's voice was amazing, Carter rocked it, Boyd did his thing, Steffan kicked ass, and Rashawd was wailing his trumpet like always. Awesome show!

The Stairway to Heaven interpolation was really cool. Burning Down the House was great, cool version of that. Jimi Thing and Two Step were the two best songs played all night, they were on fire during those two. The new songs were good too, why i am is my favorite so far. Add in Blue Water Baboon farm encore and Watchtower with a Stairway interpolation....hell yeah. Crowd was feelin it. After the Last Stop chant Dave teased it for about a minute. Dave told the story about Recently again - how he played it for Carter and LeRoi when he talked to them about starting a band. He told about Roi digging Why I Am. After the show we made the trek back only stopping for food and gas; the concert was well worth the hunger pains and lack of sleep we had on the way back. First off, GREAT SHOW.....I thought I was getting ready to hear Last Stop for the first time only to get the tease. Blue Water & Watchtower encore was a great surprise.

On a negative note the VIP for this show was TERRIBLE. $250 per person and we could not even take our beer outside the room which was 5 min. walk from the field area. Paid all the extra money and still had to stand in the beer line at $7 each. Not much of a VIP experience. If not for that this show might have been a 5 star.

Every song was executed perfectly making what i would call a decent set list into a fantastic show. I'm not even going to complain about redundancy in set lists because if you've gone to a show this spring you know how on fire the band is.

Another highlight of the show. Rashawn and Coffin. God they are great. They both did a battle at the end of Grey Street it was epic. Rashawn is one of the best things the band has ever done for itself.

Great show.

Wonderful weather and music! There's really nothing bad I can say about the show. Everyone in GA was packed in like sardines though. We decided to sit dead center about 5-10 feet in front of the geted VIP section and it wasn't too bad. I was able to meet some very nice people, but you didn't want to go too much left or right of center. I grabbed a beer during YMDT and the crowd that way would have ruined the show for me. Thanks WH for the early entrance. I enjoyed the new songs. The entire show was a highlight, but the songs: Grey Street, Burning Down The House, Recently, Jimi Thing, Two Step, Blue Water, & Watchtower were my fav's for the night. Crash & Seek Up gave me chills. Haven't had those since DC '06 & Peidmont Park. Not the best show I have ever seen, but still deserves a 5. Still waiting for StL, DC, & Tinley.

Best show of 15 for me. Deer Creek a few years ago night 2 came close but I really got down in the grass with a bunch of awesome people.

Highlights: My first Recently, Blue Water are you kidding me!? It was more than a tease and I was actually able to enjoy it so I'll take it as a song intro :P Bartender opener, Two Step set closer (Carter's solo was the best thing that happened to us that night), and Watchtower of course. Dig all the new songs but Spaceman is my favorite closely followed by Why I am (AND I mean close!)

Amazing show... best show in Nashville since I started going (2003). Just about one of the best shows I've seen, up there with Piedmont.

Everything was great until halfway through the show, 7 police officers had to escort some drunk/drugged out dude hit a girl i think.... he definitely needed to leave. It was definitely a buzzkill, but my peeps and i just moved to the other side of the middle camera and found it more chill.

I feel sorry for anyone in NASH that didn't come to the show. Eff'n missed the best live show in Nashville to come for years..... sad part is, my hometown, nashville, is supposedly "music city", but it hardly lives up to it.

I wish I could see DMB perform everyday. Can't wait to see them at DEER CREEK for back2back nights in 2010 and LAKEWOOD (ATL) 2010.

Jason Mraz did a great job getting the crowd vibed up for DMB to come out and when they did , it was magical. I got sick after this show and never have gotten to see another show again and I really miss doing it.
