Absolutely great show!! Dave voice sounded like he might need a couple days off. Jeff Coffin fills in very well for LeRoy. So Damn Lucky is a new favorite

this is the first time I saw Tim play with the band. So sad LeRoi was in the hospital. Dave said Roi was getting better and hoped for him to be playing again soon....that and Dave dancing crazy was my biggest memory.

First festival I attended where DMB was headlining. Arrived around noon and checked out some of the other acts. Drank a lot. Really enjoyed Tea Leaf Green in the tent. Hung out with my sister and her boyfriend. Had crummy "seats" for DMB; left of stage across from VIP area. Sound was horrific with the wind. Overall, great set list but certainly not the best live DMB experience (ranks up their with Mile High) due to the fact Suzanne wasn't there, Leroi wasn't playing, seats sucked and the wind fucked the sound up big time.

Best DMB show I've ever been to! SO much energy, and the set list was flawless! Not a slow song all night.

Never been to a DMB concert outside of North Carolina. I can honestly say that he plays much better when he is comfortable with the crowd. Good stuff guys!

Wow what a weekend! Finally made it back to Portland, Oregon after a long weekend of rocking my A** off. Sledgehammer live was MIND blowing. Great set it was safe. Could have done without a few songs but the boys rocked the house for 50,000 + people it was fun.

This was a sick festival show! The sound was awesome, the weather was a little hot but pretty nice in the evening and the crowd was way chill. Killer set list that lasted for a full 3 hours.

Best show I've ever been to! I felt like every song was at least 8-10 minutes with the obvious 20 minute jams on jimi thing etc. The crowd made the show though, as carter walks off the stage (after throwing 20 odd drum sticks out into the crowd) the crowd went back into the Thank You chorus. During Thank You Dave actually took off his guitar so he could dance around on the stage what seemed to be 5 minutes. The energy was unreal especially from 12 rows back in between Dave and Boyd. An unforgettable weekend.

Could be a personal thing, but had a hard time getting into the show. Maybe where I was standing or just didn't think the sound was good, but it took up until So Damn Lucky before I felt like I was a DMB show. Getting to see Tim back with the band was a real treat. Was def bummed LeRoi couldn't be there, but Jeff Coffin brought tons of fresh energy to the solos. He did a great job of learning the parts. Very sad after this that Roi would not be coming back. Cool to be at another official release. Been very lucky at picking em. Three now. Official releases that I've attended.

After 10 hours in HADES, these guys came on and absolutely kicked ass! The Band seemed like they were having a blast and they played tight. Dave was dancing his ass off, Tim jammed, Carter boomed, and Boyd was on fire. Seemed like there were many DMB virgins in the crowd and it was hard to see the stage, but the screen did help. Hope the dance sequence on Thank You shows up on line somewhere..it was wild!!

First show with Tim and the Band. It was a total rock show. Although it was hard to navigate through the 30,000 people, in the end, it was totally worth it.

What an exhausting weekend! I made it to the finish line and limped home. The boys played a very safe / crowd pleasing set, which was to be expected. Highlights for me were opening w DDTW, and that hot hot hot Two Step. All the solos were on fire! Everybody brought it, Tim was awesome, Carter, Dave was dancing his ass off all night. Glad I got to see Sledgehammer live, liked it. Also full band SDL, fantastic. Even though I'm not a huge Mayer fan I was hoping he'd join on #41. Encore was a little disappointing, but no complaints here after a 3 hour set and a spot 25 feet from stage in that massive crowd.

Great show... So Damn Lucky went to another level tonight I saw it in DTE and its totally different than a month ago. I liked stay,#41, Jimi mid set. It definitely wasn't the greatest show i've seen or attended but it was amazing nonetheless. Tim is a beast and just ripped solo after solo that kept me begging for more. The band is on fire. Next stop Gorge then to Berkeley.

Great energy from the band coming off of a 10 day break. SDL was great! DDTW was excellent. YMDT seemed a bit off as did LB. Festival was a nice experience overall. The crowd surfing was a little bit out of control during DMB's set. The bassist for John Mayer sort of added fuel to that as he crowd surfed during their set. Not a smart move IMO. Saw about 20 different people crowd surfing, most of which look like they ended pretty bad. I was about 10-15 people (rows) back, just to the right of Coffin. A girl behind us got hurt and ended up having to get medical attention. I got surprised slammed a few times as its hard to anticipate a crowd surfer coming from behind. Word of advice: You can have just as much fun ON the ground. And a far lessor chance of snapping your neck.
Regardless, always fun to be at the shows. Good times! Ditch Bayou, & Thank You in the encore and start swinging Minarets, LS, WYA, Watchtower, into the rotation and I think the shows end up a lot stronger.

A great show. Could have done without Bayou and Ants, but otherwise amazing. "So Damn Lucky" literally through me into a trance - it was absolutely incredible! Tim's guitar was a little too distorted (compared to Trey's) but he did an amazing job on it. Sledgehammer was fun (my first time), and if I hadn't already seen an unbeatable "Thank You" at SPAC this year, I would have been into that more as well. The crowd was very tired, had a tough time finding others that were into it as me. Amazing long set - luckily my flight back to NYC was delayed 3 hours so I was able to stay for the entire thing.

Outstanding. They all had so much energy. Dave looked like he was having the time of his life. Jeff Coffin is filling in brilliantly while Roi heals up. Also, Not having Butch play seems to be a good thing, no more long boring parts where he played piano.

I am not sure it's possible, but the Mile High Music Festival simply had too much music to be heard. We made a day of it by traveling from stage to stage, listening to a little here and a little there. After hearing Brett Dennen, Ingrid Michaelson, One Republic, Colbie Caliat, Flogging Molly and Leftover Salmon in temperatures that approached 100 degrees with no cloud cover or shade, it was nice to finally sit on a blanket at the main stage, "give up" and just try to catch Mayer and DMB. Given there were 50,000 people jockeying for spots, it was a good thing we did. We could actually see part of the stage, which was nice.

This was DMB show #30 and the setlist that all of my fair-weather fans would enjoy the most. A lot of times, I bring friends that don't get the Dreaming Tree or Big-Eyed Fish... but they like the sing-along songs. Top down, this set had plenty of those. The problem was, I was so exhausted after 18 hours in two days of festival, by the time they played So Much To Say, ASTB, Too Much and Ants, I had sat down for good. It certainly wasn't because the band wasn't rocking, they were. I just couldn't handle it anymore.

The only bad spot of the set was Bayou. But some fans really seem to like it. It was just too bad that such a good set had this song in the encore. Highlights: Two Step, #41, and Jimi, without a For What It's Worth interpolation. (Thank God!) Lots of good Davespeak about DMB being back in Colorado. An A+ for the show though. Remember those who hesitated to buy tickets in fear of not getting to see a whole set? Um... by my watch, they played (including a short by their standard encore break) just short of three hours. So I'll go on a limb and say we saw something special.

pretty standard festival setlist (very similar to rothbury) but the boys were having so much fun.

they had just returned from a week-long vacation, so we knew it'd be a predictable set.

highlights: Jeff Coffin tearing it up on #41, Carter's drum solo on Two Step, Sledgehammer got the entire crowd pumped, and ended on a high note with Thank You.

I figured there would be several people on this site that bitched about the setlist of this show. I knew it before the encore even started. Ya, they played the same exact set for the last 7 songs or so. Keep this in mind: they played every one of those songs alot better than at Rothbury, due to Jeff having a few weeks to settle in with the cohesiveness of this band. It was a very noticable difference in the quality of the songs and their sound. I enjoyed this show more than Rothbury. I was at both and have no complaints about this one. Both festivals were a great time, and some people need to learn that the band is going to play what they feel is their best each night. Listen to the songs they play and don't just observe them. You might have a better time. This band isn't about certain songs. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to hear them play Spotlight or Get in Line, but I will never bitch if they don't play obscure songs, it ruins other people's times that don't go to as many shows as us. Great show, the people I hung out with were great. Met some awesome people this weekend I will never forget. There's more to this band than the tunes they play.
