This show proved that a rather blah setlist will not ruin a show for me. After seeing Alpine, everything will be a little blah for awhile. Had a great time sitting in 102 in between a couple cool DMB fans.

I showed up early to see Dave introduce the opening act. And if you were there, I was the idiot who yelled "I LOVE YOU, DAVE!"

Thumbs up: The crowd was pretty good and Dave (et al) seemed to be in high spirits. PNP>>Rapunzel was a stellar opening. ASTB>>Too Much(fake)>>Halloween/Ants/Stay was a stellar closing. The only parts in between that really got me going were Money and Jimi.

First one-night stand I've been to and didn't hear Louisiana Bayou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs down: Stolen Away (bathroom break), Everyday (thought they'd go into Halloween), the usher nazi who made me put out a perfectly good cig, and hearing 3 covers. I actually enjoy all of those covers very much. But I'd rather hear DMB material.

Final analysis: A set list that I would've laughed at (with just a few notable exceptions), and yet it was a Good Good Time.

Been to the Houston and Dallas show for the past few years now..and i have so say i'm never that impressed w/ the dallas show. This year however, Dallas rocked my socks off. I was a little sad to hear a lot of the repeats from houston, but at the same time dave and the band had so much more energy in dallas and were just having a blast!

What an amazing show - I had the best seat of any of the 11 concerts I've been to, so that was amazing, I kept catching myself watching the screen - then I was like..WHY? They are RIGHT THERE! Was it a coincedence they were all wearing black? Miss Roi - but Jeff Coffin brings an added energy to the stage. Lover Lay Down...awesome - Stay - amazing. Loved the sing along too. No complaints from me!

Great opener with PNP>Rap, but the next few lacked the old school feel I like from the band. I don't think Coffin and Reynolds "fit" in as much as I'd hoped, and their solos/efforts are a little forced. LeRoi will be welcomed back next time around. The ending of the show was better than the beginning and I enjoyed the ASB>TooMuch>Halloween VERY much!! Also one of my favortie Two Step intros with the Daddy, Come Home theme.

One solid show as always in this venue. Stolen Away on 55th and Third was worth the price of admission alone. It was forecasted to rain, but the rain never came... an extremely pleasant night for Dallas, Texas. The crowd was a little subdued from where I was sitting, but Dave was definitely feeling good.

WOW...what a show! I thought the energy in Houston was decent, but Dallas blew it away. Met a Dave fan named Conal who had "So Much" on the back of one arm and "To Say" on the other, he seemed cool and dedicated so I snuk him and his friend down from the lawn to 5th row with me and my girl! Good Times! Halloween was amazing and I feel for my friends in Houston that really wanted to hear it. Tim and Jeff add so much to this band that it is simply amazing. They needed some new energy up on stage and I believe this is exactly what the show needed. I ended the show by going up to the front row and standing on a chair so Carter could see me. He looked right at me and tossed me a stick. Had to fight some fratboys for it, but they knew who it really belonged to. That's my second stick in 4 years...I frame them with the concert poster and my tix. It's makes for a great memory!!!

I thought about Leroi alot that night while watching Jeff. Thought it was weird that we hadnt had an update in so long, and I knew something was really wrong in that moment. This would be the last show DMB played while he was still with us here on Earth...

RIP LEROI...WE WILL MISS YOU BROTHER!

Highlights were the PNP/Rapunzel to get the show going. Also, we got 3 of the best covers they are doing this tour and Lover Lay Down, Halloween->Ants, along with the Sledgehammer/Two Step encore makes this a solid show. Sound was good with great energy for most of the show.

I have to give this show a 5 for the pure fact that they played Halloween. I have been chasing that song for a while. First time to hear it in 19 shows. Other highlights for me would have to be Jimi. Dave letting the crowd sing some verses was pretty cool. Then the run from ASTB -> Stay. That little stretch was bad ass. Two Step was an amazing closer with an intense jam were everyone shined. Good crowd, ok venue.

Downside this was was my last show of the summer out of 5. But with that being said I am going to go ahead and say this, Butch who? I dont mean that in a bad way but this entire tour has been incredible so its hard to say I have missed him. Tim and Jeff Thank you. Of course for the Band, Thanks for another awesome summer of shows. You guys kick ass.

This was just my second show in Dallas, but I was blown away. I loved the setlist, including the covers and the summer2008-special of Too Much tease into Halloween. And of course Tim was there. Even with Roi sitting it out (good thoughts), the guys were spot on all night.

I thought the show was excelent!! PNP and Rapunzel was the perfect start. I loved Proudest Monkey and So Damn Lucky. Lover Lay Down was a nostalgic and sentimental song. Jimi Thing really showed what Jeff Coffin could do with the sax. Everyday was awesome to see live- especially with #36 in there. I swear Carter was teasing us with the Halloween drumroll so I thought we were not going to get It after that. ASTB with going into Too Much intro and then Halloween made the show for me. INCREDIBLE! So much passion. Two Step was the perfect closer. The band was spot on the entire night. You could see the energy off Dave from the start. Awesome show!

Concert started off well with Rapunzel, Satellite, So Damn Lucky, and Stolen Away. After You Might Die trying I was getting a little impatient waiting for more of the heavy hitter concert jam songs. Burning Down the House rocked and came at just the right time. I was a little disapointed Money didn't jam into That's What I Want. Jimi Thing was a much needed break from the slow songs and covers, followed by Everyday. At this point the concert seemed to finally get rolling. When they began playing ASTB in the back of my mind all I could think about was they have jammed it into Halloween several times this tour. When TM began I was a bit disapointed but I didn't think we would get Halloween in Dallas and then bam. The energy in the crowd was taken to a new level and I went nuts as they went right into it. The rest of the concert was just amplified after this point. Halloween saved the day and the show...for me it went from being just an average or below show to the best show of the summer for me so far with MSG to go. Halloween rocked and I loved every single minute of it...it was a special experience I will not soon forget.

i predicted the panta/rapunzel opener and it got me really excited...almost as much as seek up did in OKC on wednesday...but the energy in superpages was stolen away by guess what and water/wine, though i thought the stretched jam was interesting and new-ish.
davespeak of the night was introducing eli young...something along the lines of 'it's nice and breezy...lemon squeezy. i can rhyme. fart. cart. wal-mart.' haha
by the time stolen away was over, we figured dave had played all the fluffy shit so it couldn't get much worse.I thought lover lay down, money, then jimi thing saved the show. jimi to everyday to the bridge to the too much tease into halloween was for sure the highlight.
i saw like 5 tapers there so hopefully something will pop up on the internet tomorrow.
overall, good times in big d...

Really great to see Halloween for the first time live. 11 shows and I've now finally seen it! It was a different set list, but, it was too bad to have 8-10 repeats from the Houston show, but, all around we still had a great time!

Just an ok show for me. I don't understand why they are playing so many covers. I love pink floyd but I didn't go to see a PF cove band., a waste of 3 spots imo.

Likes-
PNP->Rapunzel, great song to start a show off.
So Damn Lucky, didn't think I would like this song live but I thought it was great.
Eh Hee, surprised I like this song as well, I think its the beat and the story behind the song that makes me into it.
LLD, Anything off UTTAD is great to me. Love this song.
Jimi thing, singing along was awesome!

show was great after jimi thing minus the cover song. Great to hear two step.

Dislikes-
3 covers, seriously quit playing covers. I came to see DMB not a cover band. Play some old stuff or something from the upcoming album.
ODH, YMDT, Stolen away, Not a fan of any of those three songs. Ruin the shows energy imo.

21st show and would have to put it towards the bottom. 6 songs I could careless to hear is not good. Add cornbread in there and its 7. guess I am an old man and just like the good old days.......

I'd really like to give the show a 3 but i think i'm jaded from Alpine the weekend before. Under more normal circumstances I would have enjoyed it a lot more. Highlights for me included PNP-Rapunzel, I always like that combo, Lover Lay Down, Burnin Down the House, Eh Hee, Water/Wine, Jimi Thing, Halloween, Ants, and Two Step.

Lowlights for me were satellite, cornbread (i'm just tired of hearing it at every show), Stolen Away, Dirt Hill, Money and Sledgehammer (just because I would have liked more DMB songs).

Best seats i've ever had at a show in section 102 row N by some great people. I had a great time with one of my good friends who sat down there with me. Tim Reynolds and Jeff Coffin are insane. I totally don't miss Butch, actually kinda glad he's gone. This was my last show of the year and I already can't wait for the next tour!!

show was full of energy...LLD was a nice surprise, and a full everyday before ASTB>>Too Much fake>>Halloween was awesome!

the band was blown away by our singing skills during Jimi Thing...so dave just took over the chorus.

second half of the show had more energy, more jamming, sledgehammer was solid, as was Carter's solo on Two Step

Great show. Heard 6 songs I've never heard live before which is good for my 30th show. Dallas is where it all started for me and this being my tenth anniversary of DMB the boys put on a great show. I'm weird, but PNP to Rapunzel not my #1 choice for opener but it was good. PM to Satellite good (first time I liked Satellite in a long time) then the show went nuts. Cornbread is awesome with Tim. First LLD in I don't know how long was great. Money was fun but the best cover was Burning Down the House. Ants sounds good but missing something and Dave messed up a lot of the words on Stay but I still jammed on them both. Was hoping for Spoon since they played it at my first / the cricket show but no dice. The band is really lively this year and I get to see them 3 more times this week! All-in-all a great show!

Excellent show, great energy all the way through. "Eh hee" was great and Dave went nuts on "So Damn Lucky", I didn't think it was possible to fit so much screaming in such a mellow song. But come on now, watching the only in Texas performance of "Halloween". They could have came out played it and then left and it would still get a 5.

I was pumped to hear PNP/Rapunzel to start it off but I felt like it went downhill until Lover Lay Down.

I was really excited to hear 10 songs I heard the night before in Houston with the exception of Ants Marching and Sledgehammer because it fit perfectly in Dallas. Overall an okay concert but from LLD to Jimi Thing on into ASTB-TM then Halloween and Ants was just insane. And to see the Jam they put on in Two Step made the night.

Some real gems here, but a lot of fluff as well. "So Damn Lucky," "Satellite," "Lover Lay Down" and DMB's three spectacular covers were very refreshing, as was Tim's presence with the band.

My 3rd show and . I feel the same as most everyone else: great opening songs, lost me in the middle and stole me away in the end. This is not a lie... As anyone can tell you who was there that night, the whole night was covered in clouds. I didn't see a star in the sky (I checked during satellite). I swear as soon as they started to play Halloween the clouds spread apart and a full moon appeared. It was amazing! It made the lawn worth it that night. I looked up again about a song later and the moon was being covered again. I don't think I will ever look at the moon the same way again.
Now we will never hear a dave song like the way we use to. They will always echo "LeRoi." I was listening to Where Are you Going on the way home tonight(9/19) and I don't think there could be have been any song more perfect at that time. But then I played #34 (studio) and since the cd repeats it started playing the best of what's around (Please listen to it in that order if you miss LeRoi). It was perfect beginning to another ending. And I think that is what I hope to see. Although it ended with LeRoi we will just make best of what's around. R.I.P.

Panta>>Rapunzel was a great opener in which made me feel optimistic, but that opener did not at all reflect the vibe of the show...despite the rocky stand up middle of the concert it was an excellent show as always. Dave let the crowd sing the first two verses of jimi thing..and lover lay down was interesting. It was nothing compared to OKC, but it was DMB putting on a great show none the less

What a great show! ASTB into Halloween? Really DMB? Could you blow me away any more? Even though they're not my generation at all, I loved Money, Burning Down the House, and Sledgehammer. Jimi Thing and Ants Marching are better every time I hear them and speaking of classics, Rapunzel was the perfect opener! I was so pumped about hearing Everyday.

I missed LeRoi, but Coffin was a great fill in! Tim Reynolds was phenomenal on Eh Hee and Bridge, but seriously, Rashawn stole the show on Burning Down the House!
