Seeing Dave and the boys was awsome as always, but I am disappointed in my hometown. The crowd sucked! I wondered if anyone even knew who exactly was playing on stage. My friend says that down on the field it was a little better, but where I was in the stands about midlevel directly behind home plate you could have heard a pin drop! Also the sound was very muffled there. Louisville could use some pointers when it comes to handling a concert. But I loved the setlist and the energy the band brought! I am looking forward to my next show tues. in Cincy!

This was our fourth show. General admission, showed up three hours before showtime and one hour before gates opened, ran straight to the fence as soon as they let us in. Front row, stage right.

Willie Nelson again proved himself an awesome entertainer and songwriter, and the energy from the whole band was just awesome. Jeff Coffin went CRAZY on #41. We hadn't gotten our Eh Hee or Cornbread yet, so they were awesome to hear. Tim's electric guitar on Cornbread was phenomenal. Burning Down the House was badass.

Two people passed out right by us in the front during You Might Die Trying. That was a little unsettling...

But overall, awesome venue, awesome performances, great show! Hope it makes a LiveTrax sometime.

Great show for a crappy crowd. Didn't seem like anyone was paying attention or singing along in the gen admin area -- weird. Getting in the venue was a joke, but once we hit the field we had our own porta pots and more beer vendors than you could shake a stick at. And $6 beer = awesome compared to 8.50 in Indy. Coffin tore it up as usual and the energy was flowing all night. Worth the trip.

Sick sick sick. Jeff Coffin kicked Grey Street and #41's asses. Carter made Two Step his bitch. Burning Down the House rivals Sledgehammer as the top cover. Only downfall was Willie jacking up the verse on GD.

If you were there and paying attention, you really saw a great show. The band was on fire, and really seemed to be having a great time. Burning down the house, are you kidding me? Sick cover! Nancies, #41,all of it. The crowd chatter was almost too much on Out of my hands, but it was beautiful. Great show!

This was my 4th show of the summer and standing 3rd row center stage was amazing! Especially since I tailgated down by the Waterfront all day, walked into the venue at 7 p.m. and had no difficulty making my way that close!! Dancing Nancies was a highlight for me and you can't go wrong by following up with ASTB, Ants, PNP->Rapunzel, and Stay! Overall, Great show!!
peace. love. DMB. :)

I thought it was a great show. It was nice being on the field close to the band.

The line to get in was rediculous though. They should have had more than one entrance to the field.

The Band sounded great. The only thing that set this show back was that the crowd seemed pretty indifferent for most of the night, but you can't hold that against the band. My wife and I have been to shows in quite a few places over the last 10 years and have never seen so people seem like there just happened to be a band playing at the bar they ended up at. NOTE: we were on the field, it sounded like some of the people in the stands were into the show. Two Step sounded great, thumbs up to Carter and Tim. 41 was a treat. Burning down the house was cool. Great venue, I agree with the person who raved about $6 dollar beers and alot of port-a-pots. I also enjoyed walking a couple of blocks an getting right back on I-65 in minutes!

The setlist was a little awkward, and the flow seemed weird to me. But hearing Burning Down the House was amazing! And the four-song ending of Nancies-ASTB-Ants-PNP-Rapunzel-Stay was amazing.

This show was a paradox - bear with me for a second. For example, the general admission outfield allowed me to be about 10 feet from the stage, closer than I've ever been at a show. Sweet! The general admission outfield also meant I was surrounded by drunk, sweaty idiots who kept pushing toward the front, taking pictures of each other, and talking throught the entire show. Seeing Willie Nelson on Gravedigger was a highlight because he's freaking Willie Nelson, but he messed up some of the lyrics and made it a very awkward version. Also the setlist never seemed to flow, switching directly from awesome, high energy songs to duds (ex: Burning Down the House > STDH > Two Step > OOMH > #41). But I'd still say the great performances and rest of the set made up for the missteps and created an unforgettable evening.

The team-up with Willie Nelson on "Gravedigger" was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but the covers of "Burnin' Down the House" and "Sledgehammer" really made it seem like a party. Dave even danced despite the hellacious heat!

great show!!! the hilights of my night were #41, Two Step, Grey Street, One Sweet World, and of course Ants. What made it so great is the fact that I was like 30 feet from the stage!!!!! Great place to see a show. Timmy delivered his usual performance of insane guitar solos!!! Its amazing how much he adds to the shows. Jeff Coffin did a spectacular job!! he played really well. Boyd played really well also, like the rest of the band, but timmy and jeff coffin are the two that stood out.
Great show overall, great crowd and environment to be a part of. I hope to make it to more shows next year!!!

It's not the best-looking set on paper, but the energy and playing transcend that. #41 was stellar, as was Two Step. I also enjoyed both covers.

Crowd was pretty meathead-oriented, but they weren't a big nuisance in my area.

My third show. I was in the reserved seats, pretty close to the bottom, towards the center. I had a blast!! ASTB>Too much>Ants was by far the highlight of my night! I was sooooo pleased with that. I still long to hear watchtower though..

I think Willie should've croaked while he was there. He sounds like he's about to anyways. And I wish he wouldn't have sang the third verse of GD bc that is my favorite part when Dave sings, he uses his raspy voice ahh I love it.

Glad I heard Greystreet.

Cornbread was pretty mindblowing. Dave's dance of course, made it that way. That song has definitely been growin on me.

BDTH was pumped up. Everyone around me was hyped up and screaming, especially the drunks.

I can't wait until my next concert. Until then...

My 27th show, and first in my hometown. I go to Slugger Field a good twenty-thirty times a year, yet this was only the second show I've seen there, and the first of this magnatude. The band was having a blast, and I know they were happy to be back in the 'Ville after almost a decade. There was tons of energy, although I agree with everyone, there was waay too much talking during some of the softer numbers. Sledgehammer just gets better and better every time, and what a great suprise, pullin' out Burning Down the House! That was simply sick...Willie coming out was pretty stellar (and to the guy who said that Willie messing up ruined the song, well that's Willies interpretation of the song. When he covered it he sings it like Willie does, not like Dave does...it's not kareoke for Christs sake.) #41, OSW, Seek Up, Rapunzel, jeez I could keep going...there were some gems there...not quite as good of shows as last weekend(7/25, 7/26) in my opinion, but in it's own light, it stands out as one of the best shows I've seen in years.

Amazing... I got there at 9 p.m. the night before the concert and was second in line, ran to the stage and was front center, could not be closer to dave.

Great great show, Cornbread BDTH and Two step were the highlights for me. Also when Dave and Willie Nelson played Gravedigger.. Wow

I've never seen a bad Dave Matthews Band performance but this wasn't the best. Nonetheless it was still a pretty quality show. They rocked out on One Sweet World, Two Step, Gravedigger, BDTH and Panta.

It was good to hear Eh Hee and Cornbread again. I like those songs, better than most of the songs on Stand Up.

"Burning Down The House" was a crowdpleaser, and I enjoyed it a lot more than I would have imagined. It was a real hoot and fun to be there for the debut.

Weird venue... I had Warehouse stadium tix that were close but to the side. And the GA ticket holders had to wait in a ridiculously long line that was still wrapping around the stadium and down the block as Willie Nelson's set was ending.

Band never sounded better... I do miss Leroi and Butch but it's a great tour. Loving Cornbread, and the covers are way more fun that I could have imagined in my mind's ear. :-)
I'm really loving "Cornbread," too.

Best show I have ever seen. Was seven rows from the stage, seeing the band that close is an experience I will never forget. Dave dancing to Sledgehammer, first time for Burning Down The House, Ants Marching, Stay, etc. just a phenomenal show, capped off by Dave's guitar pick hitting my roommates girlfriend in the face and landing on his shoulder.

Awesome, awesome show. One Sweet World set the pace perfectly for the evening. As others have said, during some of the tunes, the chatter was really over the top, but to be honest, I was really too focused on the show the guys were putting on to care. Burning Down The House was a treat, and it was great to hear Sledgehammer live for the first time. Tim Reynolds was a monster as usual. Jeff Coffin DESTROYED #41, which was one of many highlights of the night. Everyone around me loved ASTB > Ants. Everyone around me was dancing and having a good time. Thank you DMB.

I was in the stands on the 3rd baseline side. I thought the show was great. #41 was stellar, Burning Down The House rocked - I had seen on the boards that they had soundchecked this song, which made it fun to predict to the doofus in front of me who thought he knew everyhing DMB. Two Step killed, and the boys seemed to be having fun, really throughout the show. I couldn't see that well though because the the only jumbo screen was the behind the stage one. Since we were toward the side, that was partially blocked. They needed to have other screens. Jeff Coffin has been impressive, and he really seems into it - very animated. Still, I miss Leroi, and I didn't hear any update on his condition. The show was awesome, but the crowd, at least in the stands, was lacking. It was packed, but i think many of the people there didn't know some of the songs, and would chatter during some, especially Out Of My Hands, but even during #41. One other thing - Slugger Field is a really cool stadium, but they need to do a better job with the concessions. Many of the stands ran out of beer, making the other lines even longer. I was in line during OSW.

tim finally moved away from his perch on stage, carter played most of a song with one hand and dave made fun of him, willie was fun and a rare treat, the wait outside the gate for like 16 hours sucked but was bearable, dave made the second mention of the monkey box i've seen....it was more funny the first time though, boyd played his ass off right in my face on nancies. if only it had been warehouse to the bridge to ants it would have been more than perfect
