At close to 50 yrs old I have seen alot of various shows and DMB never disappionts. I could not have picked a better set list for myself, with the exception of the encore!! Dave could have left us begging for so much more....I thought the show was great, who cares about the rain it's only water! It seems like SPAC ROCKED!! Sorry to have missed it, but for Darien Lake you could see me dancing like afool in the aisle...ENJOY IT!

Just got back, 14th show for me.

Everyday - Never fails as an opener, got the crowd into it.

#41 - Pretty standard version for this tour.

Corn Bread - First time i've seen live, really like it

The Stone - Not TOTALLY unexpected because i heard them soundcheck it. Very nice though with Timmy.

Ants - Loved the dave and tim intro, it seemed to gel better live than on the tapes i've heard.

OOMH - Cool to see Dave play the piano. There was a problem with his piano at first couldnt exactly see what though

#27 - Standard

So Damn Lucky - Love Timmy on this

Crush - I like the new intro A LOT

Granny - Pretty unexpected but standard version

Two Step - Rediculous as always, Tim and LeRoi are amazing together.

Sister - Standard

Money - Was hoping to get this and did, dave does a great job on it.

Money That's What I Want - crowd pleaser to say the least. caught a lot of people by surprise.

LIOG - really cool but wish he would bring back the reprise

ASTB - first time i've seen it, you can tell the band really enjoys playing this.

Too Much - Good closer as always

YMDT - I knew a Stand Up song was going to be played, this rocked pretty good live though. First time i really noticed every band member standing in a line all playing their respective instruments at the same time...i guess i never looked at that way before but it was awesome.

Bayou - Was hoping for a Hey Hey, My My or Thank You so when i saw the electric come out for dave i wasn't happy. Not a very good encore IMO

Overall - One of the best main sets i have ever seen, had a little bit of everything in the beginning. I was in the lawn and the crowd kinda bothered/distracted me a little. The Darien crowd is a little wild and people were crowd surfing and chanting stupid things the whole concert...really annoying. But when DMB is up on that stage its not hard to tune them out.
Grade = B+ because of the poor encore song choices.

The show had great energy from start to finish, with the exception of an uneventful version of "Sister." My first time seeing Tim Reynolds with the band and it was amazing. The band had the freshest sound that I've heard in 2-3 years and Dave's voice sounded on point. A rare, and tour debuted, version of "The Stone" was great as well as hearing "Granny" which is always good. It's also good to hear a classic like "Ants Marching" get a new intro with Dave & Timmy starting it off instead of the typical Carter extended drum clap. Overall, a great show that made standing in 50 degree weather & steady rain worth it.

A lot of similarities between this and the first show I went to (5/31) but all great songs to hear twice. I LOVED hearing Crush and The Stone, and all of the jams were phenomenal. Only thing that could have used improvement was the weather, some members of the crowd, and the traffic.

My 3rd show was pretty awesome. A bit far away but it didnt really matter, I was just happy to be there. The thing I hated the most was the traffic(yall know whats up, ridiculous)!!! Concert was awesome!

Everyday- Awesome intro song!

#41- I heard the acoustic version at Dave and Friends but its nothing like the full band. It was good to see Tim Reynolds there and it was a good solo.

Cornbread- good stuff, sounded pretty close to all the other ones Ive listened to.

The Stone- Love the ending. Love the song!

Ants Marching- I like the Dave Solo intro.

Out of My Hands- Dave has to work on his piano...It had been drinking...nice to hear!

#27-Dont really know the song all that well but it was good.

So Damn Lucky-Carter whips the Dave and Friends drummers butt. Tim and Lerois solo was pretty awesome as well.

Crush- The one song I wanted them to play live and it happened. I loved it!

Granny- Huge surprise. I havent heard that song in forever.

Two Step- I like the beat in the beginning of the jam. Heard the song at Toronto in 03, Still good though.

Sister- Pretty much the same.

Money- Best song of the night! One of my all time favorite songs and it was a great to hear dave cover it.

Thats What I Want-Also a great cover song.

Lie in Our Graves-I am not sure why he didnt finish the ending but it was alot of fun.

Anyone Seen the Bridge- I knew what was next.....

Too Much- 2nd favorite song

Encore: Ehh not great

You Might Die Trying-Great Jam

Louisiana Bayou- Also good but I wanted to hear maybe Rapunzel or Tripping Billies or something like that.

Overall A-: Good Variety and some surprises, DMB is awesome, first time in 5 yrs and It was so much fun.

STUPID TRAFFIC!!

Best Dave show Iíve seen. I knew it was going to be cool because Tim was going to be there, but WOW! Ants early was amazing, plus it lowered my anxiety level since I got it out of the way early. After the first encore, I saw him grab for the electric guitar, I started thinking Bayou, when he actually busted it out, I was ecstatic. I was expecting Money, and it was amazing, but that right into MoneyÖthatís what I wantÖ I freaked. Lie in our graves, as usual amazing. How can you not like Boyd, did you see him last night, the guys a beast! The Stone again!!! I love that song and he always breaks it out in Buffalo, I donít know the reason behind that. Cornbread is going to be huge. It was pretty funny, I was rocking out to it pretty hard as 99% of the people there stood confused. #41 OH MY! Too Much, Oh my! Two Step, YES! Granny, So Damn Lucky, You might die trying were amazing. Everything was amazing. Every Song was great! Best setlist that Iíve seen, hands down!!

Tim needs to continue touring with DMB. He inspires the band to be innovative and not be satisfied playing songs the same way. Versions that I heard repeated from Scranton such as Two Step, #41, Ants Marching, and So Damn Lucky all had different parts to them or subtle changes that were fantastic. LeRoi has never sounded better the band is simply beaming on stage clearly having an excellent time. Without the dud of an encore this show would have been my favorite by far. I highly suggest taking a listen to this show.

Everyday - really got the crowd into it. Fun song and cool intro with the screens.

41 - Everyones favourite. Played it well tonight and Tim's solo was dynamite.

Corn Bread - Never heard this song with the full band so that was cool. Really catchy chorus.

The Stone - Not surprised as I heard it in the soundcheck. Still, quite a rare one these days so I was glad.

Out Of My Hands - good and bad. Worst song of the night, but cool to see something new. Probably won't see it again for a while.

27 - Another time seeing it with the full band for the 1st time. Also really catchy and DMB seem to like it.

So Damn Lucky - Been playing it alot so it was a matter of when and not if. One of my favourites off of Some Devil, so glad to see it.

Crush - cool bass solo from Stefan. Especially in his retro looking outfit. Also, a cool little sax v. guitar duel with LeRoi and Tim. Sounded great.

Granny - Wasn't expecting it so late in the set, but always welcome. I really enjoy it.

Two Step - Best of the night. A++. Carter was superb on this song.

Sister - Seen it 2 or 3 times. Nice in the dark and sort of sets the tone.

Money - Classic. Everybody loves it and fits will with the band. Sounded great.

That's What I Want - another classic. Everybody seemed to really enjoy it.

Graves - One of the best live jams there is. A bit disappointed he didn't do the ending, but all is well. Great song.

ASTB - as somebody said before, they really enjoy playing this and you can tell. It's fun and goes well straight into...

Too Much - great closer. Fast and energetic, especially with the lights.

You Might Die Trying - Was sort of expecting it. They've been playing it alot and I do like it, but would have preferred something else.

Louisiana Bayou - Always welcome with me, but would have preferred it somewhere else to be honest. Still, a cool jam isn't bad to close the show.

Grade: 'A-' ... Great variety and sounded great as ever, but encore was a bit weak. Could've done with something like Billies, Stay, or even a cover.

It's now 5:32 AM and I'm back home in Toronto. Seeing the band at the Molson tonight for number 9. Really hoping to see Proudest Monkey, Pay For What You Get, and You Never Know. Can somebody forward that memo to the boys?

Peace everybody, and hopefully see ya'll tonight.

6th show and i finally got to hear two step and the stone which were even better than i thought theyd be, i really liked how 41 and LIOG had wicked jams but didnt drag on too much, im a huge fan of YMDT and tim's solo on top of boyd and leroi make it an awesome closer, the jams on cornbread and so damn lucky were nuts too, the two covers were fun to hear and the crowd really got pumped for money thats what i want, the first 5 songs was the best opening bit to any show ive been too, that ants was amazing with the dave and tim intro,

besides the hour it took me to find my car and another couple hour wait to get out and then drive back to toronto, amazing night, pumped for tonight as well

maybe some good good time, minarets --> typical situation and a LAST STOP closer?? well see what happens

My 6th show and it was definitely the best set I've seen. I've been waiting a long time to hear two step again and I finally got it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first two step western new york has seen since 2002 at HSBC Arena 6+ years ago. The crowd was really into that song. Starting out with Everyday (a Darien Lake favorite) was awesome. I love that song live. Ants Marching was great; Boyd was absolutely sick on Lie in our Graves; The stone was great; oh and #41 (first time hearing it live) was AWESOME!; Out of My hands was a crowd killer although i liked the performance; So Damn Lucky and Crush were great as always; Too Much was a great closing before the encore. My only complaints were the encore wasn't that good (but after the set list up until that point, i dont think it could have gotten any better without a All along the watchtower) and the weather was really crappy out. I usually sit in the lawn but I was glad to be under the tent yesterday.

Great show and an exceptionally good set list; sometimes darien gets some weak set lists but this one was amazing. Good crowd too, although i was surprised to see how many people left early... weak (guys, leaving the parking lots is going to be terrible no matter what so you migth as well enjoy the show); also, buffalo knows how to tailgate... One thing someone in my section started doing during the encore was a lets go buffalo chant that I thought was cool if it would have gotten going. Overall, great show.

Interesting set, interesting day! Bad traffic, rain, wind, and an arctic chill that could freeze a mans balls by sundown made us pray for something exciting from the band. Hearing The Stone was great and So Damn Lucky, Die Trying, and Two Step have become amazing live songs this year. This was my 5th show this year, and each show just keeps getting better, just wish I could catch a break with the weather. Only annoying trend this year is the outporing of obnoxious "crash" fans that haven't a clue what band they actually came to see. Not like this is a suprise to some, but with the addition of Timmy, some people think Slayer is in town. For those of us who travel the east coast and cannot afford to spend $200(me and my wife) each show for seats, and not to mention other travel expenses, it would be nice to have a true "fan" section on the lawn. But thats just my opinion! Great seats for Hershey next week, just going to spend the next week praying for sunshine, and the hopes of hearing "you never know"

I love Timmy with the band. Only seen him once before with Dave and Friends and he is awesome!!! Too bad Butch is gone though.
I hadn't been following the summer setlists so Money caught me completely off guard and it was amazing, definitely a highlight of the night, along with Two Step which is by the far the best live Dave song in my opinion. As a few people already said, it would have been nice to hear them finish off Lie In Our Graves, which I expected them to do during the encore. I don't know why people got a problem with Bayou closing, the song has turned out to be an amazing live song, and is a very solid closer. I went to the Toronto show as well the night after this one and the show couldn't even compare to this Darien one in my opinion, although Dave was much rowdier to say the least and they did play Nancies. So mannnnny great songs at this show though and the crowd was so into it and everything was right at this one.

Yikes. For my third show in a week, it absolutely poured. We got at the park around 2:30 and it was raining. Hard. We met up with some of our other friends and put up a makeshift tent. Naturally, the rain stopped shortly thereafter and remained nice until the opening act. We walked over to one of the Rent-A-Johns and heard them soundchecking The Stone, which made us all very happy. It rained during the opening act and for most of DMB's set. The Everyday opener was surprising, since we were all pulling for The Stone. A few songs later, I finally got my first Stone, at show 18. Bliss. Other highlights Granny and Money (That's What I Want). Two Step, Too Much, and Ants were amazing, especially Ants because they did the D&T intro right into the second verse full band. It flowed beautifully. My only knock was the crowd in the lawn. Everyone was shoving everyone else for most of the show. Very little singing on Everday and The Stone outros. Some people were just blatently ignorant, as evidenced by beatdowns from security. While the show was great, the crowd was far from it.
