Sugar Will (tease)
Only a few seconds, I didn’t even know it was a tease of Sugar Will…plus I was trying to get back to my lawn spot, hard as hell in the dark.

A Dream So Real *
A good appetizer for the real opener (TWO STEP). This is a radio song, like your Dreamgirl and The Space Between.

Two Step *
I called Seek Up or Two Step for the opener. YES The REAL opener, it was simply perfect. Shortened Version, but awesome none the less. The only problem with a Two Step opener is that it is hard to keep up that energy. At this point I was already content with the show. I was like I’m ready to go home…=P

Eh Hee *
Glad to hear it live. It is a strong song and has great potential to become a classic DMB song.

You Might Die Trying *
Great Version. The outro with Leroi and Rashawn makes this song amazing.

Everyday *
Standard Version. It’s always fun singing with 20,000 people, Honey Honey!

The Dreaming Tree *
HELL YA! Was the song I said was a must see for me. It was incredible. Love the lyrics, love the riffs, love the structure, love it all. BTW Rashawn is awesome

Grace Is Gone (Black Water) *
“I'd like to hear some funky Dixieland, Pretty mama come and take me by the hand”
Grace is a great song, but when you at some Doobie, they can CLOSE with this song. Ok maybe I’m going too far but, the entire crowd was singing and dancing, great energy. I had a blast here.

Louisiana Bayou *
I was looking for Robert Randolph, but a no go. This was a rocking Bayou. I was jumping up and down quite a bit. Hate to say it, again Rashawn is just out shining Leroi.

Sister +
Surprised, it was nice but very odd of Dave playing this mid-set. It cooled down the crowd from that red hot Bayou.

Granny *
Nice. Crowd Pleaser. Standard Version.

Corn Bread *
Like Eh-Hee has great potential to become a DMB Classic.

The Idea Of You *
Meh. Still sounds like an 80’s sitcom theme song to me. It’s catchy but forgettable.

#27 *
I really like this song. Great song live, and has a good flow. I can see this song being a great encore opener in the future.

Dream Girl *
Bathroom Break…=)

Jimi Thing *
You know I have seen this so many times, but still rocks every time. I was hoping for a little Lie in our Graves but oh well. Solid version, Butch’s solo was legit and you rarely see Dave do a mini-solo. It was cool.

Grey Street *
A complete surprise. I didn’t think they would play Grey Street in 4 straight shows. But it is still a pleasant surprise they can play this ever show and the energy of it always uplifts the set. Crowd Favorite and I still say they should close out the show with this song more.

Stay *
Not my favorite closer, kind of saw it coming after a Two Step opener and Billes and Ants played so many times in the past few days. Solid Version. Grey Street and Stay is a nice way to close it out. Nothing unbelievable.

So Damn Lucky ~
You know I thought this was the first time Dave has ever played this song during a full band tour. I guess after doing a little research he has done it already earlier this tour. Still rare, and still a treat. He should do more of his Some Devil Stuff solo as an Encore opener.

American Baby Intro *
Intense. I thought Dave blew out his voice-box when he did the first yell. Boyd seemed a little off on this one though. Carter helped out and they finished it out well.

Ants Marching *
YAY Watchtower….Ummm…what? Yea that’s what I said when Cater started the snare for Ants. It had great energy to close out the night.

Odd set list. Great Energy. Great night.

Got lost getting home, but that’s another story…

Was a fun show all around, but didn't have near the feel of Alpine where I was spoiled with 2nd row seats from WH!

A touch on the mellow side of things. DMB is never bad,,,NEVER!

Only got to see one show this year w/ them only doing on in nor-Cal for some reason...but I was pleased. Didn't get alot of the favs I wanted to hear, but I wasn't really expecting them, therefore I wasn't disappointed.

What I did get to hear was great...Black Water is one of my favorite classic rock songs, so I love that they're doing that with Grace Is Gone. I was also blown away by what they did with American Baby Intro. Eh Hee was definitely a good one...and I was glad to see the crowd all loving it. Dreaming Tree was also a highlight, as I don't think I've seen this in probably about 7 years. I had a great time and the band was sounding great!

This was a great setlist for me. Had a great time thanks to the guy sitting at the end of my row. You know who you are! OH and I agree with crew355 I was the only one within earshot that flipped out when they started playing Dreaming Tree

(I was on the lawn which I'm unsure if the seat location map includes)
I was disappointed in Shoreline audience this year; I've attended that venue for years and the audience is usually more engaging. They didn't seem to appreciate the significance of hearing Dreaming Tree.
Loved the Black Water partial as a Doobie Bros tribute, though I actually prefer Boyd's interpolation of it over the the band's hoedown outro to Grace.
Butch's scat over Jimi solo is uninteresting as it doesn't deviate in tone from the keys he hits, but Dave made up for it w/ an accompanying scat.
Boyd looked like he was sleeping for 2/3s of the show and actually hit a wrong note in the beginning of Two Step; incidentally, Two Step as song 2 was odd, as was the calm opening w/ Dream So Real. But neither was devoid of passion.
Finally, Dave bellowed through American Baby Intro with a vocal power I hadn't heard in a long time. Good show.

This was obviously a great show, and it seemed that Dave and band, sensing the crowd's excitement and knowing it was our only opportunity to see him in Nor Cal this year, pulled out all the stops and really delivered. Also, seemed to me but I haven't checked the whole tour that this show migh've rated the highest in rarity for the tour?

Highlights for me were the presentations of Granny and Dreaming tree. And, of course, my old faves Jimi thing and Ants marching. And, although usually I'm not a big fan of the new songs as I need some time for them to grow on me, I thought Eh hee was excellent. Can't really think of any negatives, except maybe we didn't need to hear both Louisiana Bayou and Cornbread. I could've really used a One Sweet World in there! Also, it sems like the folks around me coulda smoked a little more bud! It's not like I wasn't offering! But they were cool. ;-)

Dave, come back next year and won't you Stay (wasting time) a little longer please! jd

Full Dreaming Tree was really a treat. I think it meandered a bit too long, however. All of the new songs were great, but the momentum of the show stalled a bit since people didn't know the songs and some of the jams were quite extended. I know they did this to preseve Dave's voice.

So Damn Lucky... well, I feel Damn Luck to have heard it. The first couple notes out of Dave's mouth were, how shall I say, yikes? I didn't think he was going to be able to pull it off but he did, in grand fashion.

This show rates 2nd only to my Gorge 2002 experience. (all three nights, but this one was best: http://www.dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.aspx?id=453055843&tid=58&where=2002)

So, it was a fantastic show, indeed.

The show was brilliant from start to finish...

Nice little Sugar Will tease to start things off. I thought maybe we might get it a little later on but no luck.

Starting things off with A Dream So Real was ok. I like this song but it is a little slow for an opener. Two Step rocked... nice long intro and Carter rocked the drums.

Eh Hee - I really like how this has developed
You Might Die Trying... Pretty standard, but really good as always

Everyday-->36 This was AMAZING the crowd really got into it singing the "hani hani" parts over Dave's vocals... You could really tell the Band was playing off the crowd. Really great.

Dreaming Tree - I had yet to see this live and the band did not dissapoint. Awesome and emotional. Really liked the big video board behind the band during this song.

Grace Is Gone -> Black Water was awesome. Dave's vocals were great especially on Black Water. Loved it.

Lousiana Bayou and Sister were both really good although some of the crowd started to sit down for Sister. I really loved Dave's vocals on sister.

Granny and Corn Bread - Granny was fantastic as always.
Corn Bread was great really energetic and I love the lyrics.

The Idea of You - Really good... this song has really evolved a lot since last year.

Dreamgirl - This was okay but not one of my favorites.

Jimi Thing - Nice Jam but not the best I have seen. Last years was better. Not quite as much engery as usual.

Next Dave came out with the 12 string and I thought maybe Bartender to close the set but instead Grey Street. I have always loved this song and it was a great version.. Again Dave's Vocals were really awesone on this one.

Stay to close the set was really high energy and a great way to end. The lighting was really great as well.

The band was off for only a few minutes before Dave came back out alone. They flipped on the one spotlight like they do when Dave plays Gravedigger and then turned it back off and he mentioned something about not being able to sing so high but he would try and I knew it was going to be So Damn Lucky. This has always been one of my favorite songs from the solo album and it was awesome. The single acoustic guitar sounds so rich and full on this song.

Finally what an emotional American Baby Intro, Dave was really screaming on this one his voice was just amazing... I figured Watchtower to close but then Carter on the snare and right into Ants Marching! This was just an awesome end to a great night.

By far the best I have ever heard Dave sound on vocals and the band was really energetic through the whole night. Really great show. Can't wait till next year!

Dave and crew seemed like they were really on the ball that night. The vocals were great (American Baby Intro blew me away!). Black Water was quite a treat for me and I was glad to get Granny this year after i didn't get at the Gorge. Dreaming Tree was great again. I am in love with all of his new songs (especiall Eh Hee and A Dream So Real)

I had a blast, and the crowd around me seemed to be doing the same too! A few surprises in the set list, but most of it was predictable, guessed 10 songs in my setlist prediction prior to the show! Awesome to see So Damn Lucky as the first encore! Great energy from the band, boyd went ballistic on a few songs like Jimmy Thing... anyways - No complaints from me- absolutely loved it! Come back two nights next year though and not just one!
