I can't believe the set list for this show. one unbelievable song after another. I've seen DMB in phoenix since 1995 and this is one of the best shows i have seen. I met some really great people and we danced and sang our asses off all night. Excellent, excellent show.

Surprised me how mellow Dave started off, but when he picked up he was rockin. Different from the other shows I've been to. Gorgeous night for a little DMB... we had fun! PS: Why isn't Black Water showing up as a song played during the encore?

The show was the second best I have seen in Az...1st was in 2001. DMB needs to continue visiting AZ in September instead of August...I think that the weather was great and the quality of the show was like a Cali or end or tour show...Great!

There were so many things about this show that I loved. Cornbread, Eh Hee, Louisiana Bayou, classic Warehouse, Grace Is Gone/Black Water, and two songs that I love and didn't expect to hear, Pig and Fool To Think. All in all it was only the second show that I've seen in person, but I have over 30 hours of live stuff at home and this one really was one of my favorites.

WOW!!!! This was my third sumnmer tour show and 5th total this year, it doesnt beat night 2 in vegas but it kicks the crap out of the gorge!!! Dave was on fire, Boyd lit it up during nancies. Highlights for me were the old version of Warehouse, Pig, You never Know , Fool to think and GIG>Black water. All in all a great setlist and night, even though I always hate it to be my last show of the year, this was a good one to end on.

I may still just be coming down from the show I just saw a few hours ago, but that was one of the best I've seen from them!! They played a lot of my favorites Typical Situation--> Dancing Nancies-->Warehouse Boyd nailed his stuff in Dancing Nancies (my fav) I'm dying to get a recording of this now. Great! Great! Great!

2007, rare 4 song encore, yes, this was an epic night. The set list is fantastic. Met a cute couple with a little girl (her first concert) and danced with her. so cute, beautiful night.

The jam session with Typical was so cool!! what blew my mind was the encore. Gravedigger WWYS and GIG, and then the emotionally charged Stay, from what i have seen this was the best encore of the tour.

One of the best Dave shows I have ever been to. Weather was perfect and I was over 1000 miles away from home with some friends from work. We were on a business conference and this made the trip.

Show was excellent. Leroi seemed more into it then usual. The Phoenix crowd gets better and better every year. Pig and You Never Know were Great. Eh Hee gets better and better and #27 was Awesome! 4 encore songs! Can't complain.

The band seemed to be having a lot more fun than in recent memory. Great atmosphere. Great vibe. 4-song encore. My friend who works backstage saw the setlist and they had only planned on playing 2, they we're just having a great time.

pig caught me completely off guard especially for a phoenix show. liked the new stuff, especially cornbread and eh hee, but bunched together with the stand up and everyday songs made for a relatively slow first half of the show. everything changed starting with the jam in typical situation. nancies, warehouse, grey street. didn't even mind bayou after that run and closing the set with ants is always money. the four song (five if you count black water) encore also came out of nowhere but in retrospect it wasn't surprising since they didn't play a single one of their long jam songs.

Freaking great show last night. I got to hear 9 new songs last night that I had never seen live. Absolutely incredible. My favorite part is when they put the full moon up on the screens at the start of dancing nancies. How bad ass was that.

Great concert....my 5th is a row in PHX and the crowds does seem to get better as the years pass. Loved WHYS and the long Blackwater tease.

After so many shows, I've gotten cheap in my desire for more DMB by sitting on the lawn. Having to travel when the band refuses to play Colorado has caused part of that cheapness. At any rate, I was impressed with this set from start to finish. And even on the lawn, the sound was to die for. Highlights included the slow start... something I have grown accustomed to. The new songs: A Dream So Real is certainly enjoyable, #27 certainly does sound like "an old song." and Eh Hee has a tremendous amount of energy and angst circa Last Stop, Minarets, and a few others. Warehouse and Nancies is an unbeatable one-two punch. This is the best DMB show I have seen since Red Rocks in 2005, without even thinking and may rank as one of the top-five I have seen since 1995.

From reading the reviews, I guess I was the lone person who didn't have a blast last night.

The positive -- the boys seemed to be in a good mood, generally it's so hot for their shows here that you almost get the feeling by the end of the night they want to just hurry the hell up and get off the stage to cool down, but they surprised with an extended encore, and their body language throughout the evening was alot livelier than usual for a Phoenix show. Corn Bread and Eh Hee are both a blast and are by far my favs among the new songs. Boyd absolutely tore it up on Nancies, he hit a sour note early in his solo and that seemed to make him determined to make up for it cause he was absolutely on fire. The old school Warehouse intro was a treat, as was the shortened Typical. While Ants isn't a personal favorite of mine, there is something about it that just embodies the spirit of the band, so it is always good to hear.

Now, the not so good...the first half of the show absolutely dragged. I'm not a huge fan of the slower new tunes, so having the setlist crammed with them was kinda rough. And I really really REALLY missed not getting a single one of the longer, jammed out tunes (unless you count the shortened Typical...why cut out half of such an amazing song, guys???) Out of my bottom 5-6 DMB songs, 3 of them made an appearance on the setlist, while only one of my favorites made its way into the night -- tough to overcome that kind of ratio.

Overall, this was in the bottom 4-5 shows I've seen by the boys, which was disappointing since it was my only one this tour. I'll be back again next year for sure though, even a bad night of DMB is better than most other things I can name!

Started a bit slowly, with a few gems sprinkled in, then took off after Dancies Nancies. Everyone was on their game, and Dave knew it after the roaring rendition of Warehouse.

Great gig.

Perfectly Honest, It was my first show. So naturally I gave it five stars based on that alone. I have some ral good friends who are Dave fanatics one guy who has been to forty-two shows. My buddy and I told him about the show and he was kinda shocked. The past two years that Dave has been here, they played for like an hour and forty-five minutes, two song encore and that was it. For my first show, I got to hear Pig, a real treat, and Fool To Think. Songs, from what I've gathered don't get played to often. However I was a little let down by the rendition of Warehouse initially but then it occured to me that they probably don't play it the way it was played to often, I changed my mind. Then again, I'm writing from a rookie standpoint. Two-and-a-half hours later I was thoroughly pleased and can't wait for my next show.

This was a perfect night, weather was not as hot as the usual hot august night shows here. The band was on, feeling it all night. I knew it was a special show when they went into a long outro on Grace Is Gone. Amazing. Maybe one of the best shows ever in Phoenix.

Definitely the best show they've played in the last 8 or 9 years in AZ. Felt much more like a Cali show. Kudos to the band. What a beautiful night. Maybe it was because it was the first show where the weather was nice/normal.

Loved it. I'm totally in love with Cornbread...you know, it's a cookin' song. I brought two nubes this year so I had to sit in the lawn. They loved it. He played a freakin' 2 hour and 45 minute set. That's insane.

Best show of the year for me! We saw the boys in Las Vegas (great music, rotten seats), Hartford (biggest tailgate party I've ever seen), and now here in Phoenix (I live here!). The weather was great and Dave was clearly in a great mood! This show had everything ... supurb classics (Pig, Nancies, and Warehouse), new stuff (could Eh Hee get any better ...), and recents like "You Might Die Trying" and "Louisianna Bayou" and as the night went on, the energy just kept climbing.
