Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds|
March 2, 2007
New Theatre, Oxford, Oxfordshire
What a treat! Dave's voice sounded great, he was relaxed (with a little help), and there is some superb Davespeak between every song. A few nice stories we haven't heard before and an interesting new song that is developing. Crowd was mellow, a few people yelling things out and provoking Dave into more rambling. Still, Tim was loving it and I felt drawn into the music and the lyrics so a massive success.
Another fantastic show.Did not know Tim Reynolds was playing until the day before, a brilliant bonus.
Absolutely stunning show. It exceeded all my expectations (and after Birmingham last year they were very high!). Roll on May.
My first Dave and Tim show 11th overall and it was amazing. So much different from DMB and so much more chilled. The crowed wasnt that bad either yeah there were a few people yelling things out but it made some funny davespeak! Highlights of the night the stone, Say Goodbye and Ill back you up was nice to hear. Then of course the dave speak! Bob Harris came out before Dave to introduce him so that was nice to see. Overall though a great show!
AMAZING.. i can't believe he played the stone!
One of the first times he played Cornbread....sweet.
best show ive seen, was 5th row center
The best Dave show I've seen. Crowd was great, Dave and Tim looked like they were really enjoying themselves.
Crush was sensational, and the set list was very good. Would have loved to have seen Seek Up, Typical Situation, or One Sweet World, but it was still an aweseme set. Tim's solo was incredible, doing bass thumb technique on an acoustic guitar. There were a few idiots shouting out requests as you'd expect, and they should probably be all rounded up and systematically...dealt with.
Was great. Loved it.
Amazing - best solo/accoustic show by Dave (I've) ever seen. Both Dave and Tim on form. Less talking this time, and just great music. Thanks
really enjoyed seeing theses guys play together
Excellent show. They played loads of songs, many more than the last time I saw him in Birmingham and it was a really nice venue for it too. Just a pity about the leg room. I had very bad knees by the end of the 3 hours!
