Despite following them since early '96, this was- believe it or not- my first actual live show. I'm military and haven't even set foot on US soil in over four years now.. Anyway, I doubt I could have picked a better venue for my first of many. It was really quite intimate- they didnt sell out the venue even day-of, and the standing-area wasnt so crowded that you couldn't see. Even the non-American crowd, whom I expected to be drunk and annoying, were pretty good. I think a perfect capping of the night was walking in the flood of people up the Dublin streets after the show and listening to Irish and British guys excitedly talking to each other about DMB with their respective accents when they don't even know names.. "Did you see how effortless that drummer was on that one song?", "And when the violinists glasses fell off? He was fookin' amazin' I tell ya!" :) This may have been my first, but expect to see me at many others! :)

The show was great but it was odd going around Dublin and talking to people who didn't even know who Dave Matthews Band was! I toured the entire city and spotted one ad! A very cool thing was a guy standing in front of me that was going crazy for Grey Street, kept yelling and yelling when all was quiet... Dave looked over his way and Grey Street began! What an experience to travel to a foreign land alone and see DMB!

For this show I was issued a photography pass for the first couple of songs!! An incredible experience, but, it only last 2 songs. When I was hugging ths stage with my camera, Dave did seem a bit nervous, as the rest of the band I suppose did also. It's the first time they have been back to Europe as a band since 1998 and well, they really pulled out the stops. I managed to get some nice pictures which will be launched ona new site very soon. They limited the set, I expected longer, but first gig, warm up sort of thing... or I assume so cuz they played a few extra songs down in Lisbon! Great show though, a couple of mishaps it seems, did you notice the major one at the beginning of Lousiana? :) It's fun when they make mistakes as then we know, they are just regular guys too, they just so happen to make and perform some of the best music in the world!
Roll on Wembley! That will be a show and a half that will!

first, the show was very good. But i did notice that dave and the band were a bit out of it, nervous, out of place. Still, they did a tremendous job. DDTW made a great opener, and the stuff of CRASH was super. Flew to Ireland for 1 week from the states to check them out, and the country as well. It was a great experience and now I wish I 'stayed' and went to Portugal and saw the double encore!
My 6' 4" friend mike missed Carter's 2nd to last drum stick - bounced off his hand. He is a professional baseball player so we gave him a hard time about that. :)
The fans were somewhat strange to me, I had an extra ticket and had to practically give it away (10 Euros). It was on the floor, but everyone there seemed to want to have a seat :). Still the crowd was decent and the band left the stage satisfied.

absolutely amazing... so much to say into too much was the best version i've ever heard... they did a little slow-motion piece in the middle of too much and it was Amazing. first time seeing the full band after two solo gigs. The Band are just amazing

was a fine show. everyone sounded great, and i had greats seats. peeps around me were all living the dream. only compliant touch predictable set but when its the first show of tour season it was all good. portugal set looked sick. spread the love

I'm from upstate NY and after planning a trip to Ireland I found out that DMB was playing in Dublin. So I ordered tickets right away. This show was unlike any other I've been to before. It was a much smaller venue and being in the standing area, I was able to budge my way right up front. I will never ever ever forget this show. It was amazing to be so close. The closest I've ever gotten before was 7th row, but I wasn't able to jump around and dance like I was able to do at the point. The song siter nearly made me cry. It was amazing... just amazing!!

My brother had been at the Fenway Park shows and had told me that they were unreal, but he put the Point show down on par. As someone living in Ireland it was the best show that I have ever seen. The day before was my 32nd birthday and it made this year one of the best. Only thing that will top the DMB show is my wife giving birth in mid-July. On the night could see that the band were a bit nervous coming on stage as they didn't know what to expect, but once the first song was over and they saw that the Irish fans knew the words as well as the Traveling DMB Fans from the USA, they felt right at home. Hope that they swing back our way some day soon.

Been a fan since 96, this was my first time seeing them live (never played in Ireland before 2007) - the D&T show earlier in 2007 sold out in minutes.
This was like a religious experience for me. Pure magic.

Very cool show in a small venue compared to the States. Seeing DMB with people from all over Europe was very cool. Guinness Guinness Guinness.
