This was the first time that I had seen Dave Matthews at the Gorge, and it was a great experience. We were on vacation in Seattle, and we went to the Saturday show, and it was awesome. We saw all of the people that were camping, and we realized that is what we wanted to do. And overall, I can say this was a great show that really got me into Dave Matthews.

1st half of show had the beginnings of the "slow" setlist of the weekend (incl Grace, Crash and Seek Up). Crash a bit redundant as that made 3 out of 3 shows for me in 2006 but overshawoded by the amazing jams especially the "Hee Haw" improv Grace. Shotgun was awesome...again and enjoyed Leroy, Carter and Rashawn messin with Dave at the end of that. At the encore I asked and they delivered AB intro. Comming off a highly anticipated Hollywood Bowl show that was more like a bad replay of the prior Irvine show, I was definetly blown away and this was one of the better shows I've attended.

One of the best nights of my life. The Warehouse hooked it up and gave me section A row 5 which put me 5th row in front of Boyd! Made my way there half-way through OAR's set (one of my favorite bands) and Marc (singer) gave me a head's up as he was singing, THATS how close I was!!! It was intense when dave walked out, I have never seen him that close on stage. The band put on a great show and Boyd went wild on the strings. Love the Gorge...

tonight was my 10th show and was epic. slow start with OSW & Crash but perfection after that. Seek Up, GIG w/ Hoedown, midset DDTW, IIHIA, Nancies>SMTS>ASTB>TM, Butterfly and ABI were all awesome. Had an amazing time!

If I had to rate this show against the whole weekend, this one would be number 1. Although they did play such greats as "The Last Stop" "Dreaming Tree" and "Watchtower" on the third night, this nights performance was the best performance. Daves voice was on key almost every song. American Baby intro was awesome. It's really what killed dave voice and made the Thrid night not as good. One of the best weekends on my life. If you ever get to go to the Gorge, it's well worth it.

Great way to kick off the night with One Sweet World, Crash, Seek Up and Grace in Gone. Overall just a great set list on this night. First time hearing Shotgun and Break Free, liked them both, no surpise there ;) Don't Drink the Water is one of my all-time favs live, man that is just awesome! The band was really rolling when they blew through Nancies, So Much to Say and Too Much. And Butterfly was sweet to see Dave do solo to kick off the encore. The show was not just phenomenal because of the set list, but I lucked out and had my WH preferred lawn seats upgraded to the 19th row! Some super badass WH worker came up to our group of 4 on the lawn and said some band friends/family couldn't make it and asked if we'd like to swap him for reserved seats. Man, sometimes it's just your day! Thanks random Warehouse dude, that was frickin' awesome!!!

besides the guy next to us trying to die from his recreational drug use, yes, he passed out and needed the help of those around him....the show was great. it was nice to see some new jams during songs when you didn't expect them. butterfly was awesome, and my wife thought it was so sweet that he sings that song to stella and grace before they go to bed. all in all, one of the best shows i've seen in the past few years.

This was the second time I had ever seen Dave (the first was the day prior (friday @ the gorge) and it was pretty good). This was honestly a life-changing experience. Don't Drink the Water blew me away and I had no idea about American Baby Intro. Seeing that song live was utterly incredible.

Nice show. Highlights were Grace is Gone, If I Had It All, and American Baby Intro. Dave was having fun, but maybe a little too much fun. He came in early on the 2nd verse of Ants, had trouble finding his way on Butterfly, and completely botched the lyrics to OSW. They have a lot of good tunes left for N3, so I'm hoping tomorrow's show will be great.

Amazing. Grace Is Gone was defiitely the highlight. Awesome show, awesome song. Boyd was ON FIRE. Direct intro to DDTW was sweet. Nancies >> SMTS >> ASTB >> Too Much was soo much fun. Too Much was awesome, they slowed parts of it down, and it was way different. Break Free is a MONSTER live. Butterfly was sweet and Rapunzel is an amazing closer, contrary to what I used to think.

Great show with tons of energy and jams. Loved hearing Grace is Gone and Butterfly. But when did it become the DMB singalong show? Seriously, at times it was hard to hear Dave sing due to all the Dave wannabes belting it out around me. One guy in front of us sang every lyric to every song! Glad I have a recording of the show (thanks, Mike Vernal) so I can hear the songs without the extra Daves.

My first of MANY times to the Gorge! What an amazing time. I flew into Portland and got a ride with a friend up to the show. Beautiful country up there. Next time I would like to spend more time in the area.

It was great to hear the Grace is Gone outtro along with Shotgun and Break Free!! I also LOVED the American Baby Intro!!! Over all a great show!

This show was grrreat! Boyd went off! He was going crazy the whole time, really enjoying himself just jammin. The set list was awesome. THey really jambed out on some of their mellower tunes. Was my first time at the Gorge and 15th show overall. greeeat people and a great experience. We had the pool next to the camper. (this is like a diary too). the only thing I would have changesd is not closing with Pampa and Repunz. Had 23rd row. And How about "IF I Had It All" I loved the backup harmony's they did there. That was the first time I have heard it performed that way. Loved it!

The Gorge never disappoints and with a sold-out crowd 28,000 strong looking out over the big ass Columbia fucking River Gorge heaven is only an amphitheatre away when Dave comes to town.
