Got a drumstick and setlist from my brother Steven. Was with Rebecca.

Awesome concert, I was right up front, to the left of the big statue at the base of the Museum steps. Dave's set was ok, but the crowd wasn't into it. They ended with an excellent rendition of Too Much. Saving seats at 7:30am wasn't worth it though, because once the concert started everyone just rushed to the front. It became less of a good time and more of a mosh pit setting. It was a good time overall and a great cause.

Great job lifting up the audience, getting them to their feet after toby keith failed to excite the crowd

Pretty generic, what I expected. Naked ASTB was very interesting to see. Kudos to the guys for playing despite the show at SPAC tonight :)

They went on, jammed it for a little and the crowd was pissed since the band left to play in Hershey instead of staying for the remainder of the Live8 festivities... oh well, can't please everyone!

dave had tons of energy at Live 8....i didnt expect more than 5 songs due to his short time slot....you can tell he came out with energy b/c we all know how much DMB supports the G8 cause..DDTW was definitally predictable and appropriate...i did expect to hear atleast american baby...but too much as their final was disappointing....it was nice to see them kick it off with ASTB but i think One Sweet World or Seek Up would have been more appropriate, and much more exciting too!! this was just a warm up b/c i have tix to the 7/5 and 7/6 shows in camden 3 days from now....cant wait

Muchos personas, amigos! Fun to hear The Bridge in such a small set. But a BIG setting.

An interesting scene - It was hard to get anywhere close...I liked the opening with DDTW and Dreamgirl...American Baby was okay, although I was hoping for something a little rarer, considering they just did Dreamgirl...the Anyone Seen the Bridge Jam was hot and the version of Too Much was pretty good, and even though I would have liked something else, the lyrics meshed with the message of the day regarding the G8 countries being rich, while Africa suffers...Songs like Seek Up and Help Myself would have added to the message, but the majority of the crowd wouldn't have gotten it...all in all, it was a respectible showing by the boys, considering all the circumstances...

Amazing, and the best act of the day...hands down. DMB really delivered. The setlist was somewhat predictable (DDTW, American Baby), but closing with Too Much was a great touch. Dave was so full of energy!

Live 8... good show, I'm always happy to see DMB! Could have done w/out the rednecks in the area that were only there to see the country acts and make life miserable for the rest of us. Would have LOVED to have seen Watchtower, a lil' disappointed, but oh well! That's the end of my "tour" this summer, fall tour maybe?? That'd be awesome! Boy, does that sound selfish... he he! :)

Live 8 was just plain awsome. Dave was definitely the hightlight. Came in expecting something off his new album (American Baby) and DDTW. Was hoping that they'd be a great song to rock the parkway... too much was alright, but could have picked a more wild song - but since they had a short timeslot... there wasn't much time for them to jam. Nice to see Dave play 4 songs thought, since most else did only 3 or less. Can't wait for Tweeter.

"This is something" dave repeated and it certainately was along the boulevard. Got there at 6:30am after the nite shift and chilled and met a bunch of people for awareness, music, and sharing in the groove. Maybe there should be a concert in Davos, Switzerland when the world's business leaders meet because they are truly the greedy men who rule the world. Thanks DMB for partaking and sharing in the cause. All y'all do wonderful thing besides jam like no others! peace.

WOW...Today was crazy, Dave couldn't hear his guitar at the beginning of the set so he got another one while LeRoi played a lil flute intro...Don't Drink the Water was real sweet. On to the new album with Dreamgirl and American Baby (the beginning just doesn't sound 'together' yet), then Anyone Seen the Bridge with a sweet lead-in to Too Much which left me wanting more. Luckily they will be back in town (ok, across the river in Camden) on Tuesday and Wednesday...All in all, Live8 was a great showing of unity across all musical genres, races and classes that I am proud to say I was at...also, much thanks to my buddy Jeff for getting me and sister into the front VIP section to see Dave up close!

Dave Matthews was by far the highlight of the day. (though I am a little bias) Not the best sound, though it wasn't an ampatheater. Fantastic "Has Anyone seen the Bridge"

Great event, too bad there weren't 1 million DMB fans there. I actually had someone ask me who they were and if they were popular. I really liked ASTB-->Too Much as always. Overall, a great way to convince the leaders of the world to do something.
