I really liked the new songs from Stand Up, thought they sounded a little shakey but a good change up.

OMG!!! That was amazing! This was only my 2nd show and I was blown away. I admit it started off kinda mellow but it just went up and up and UP! It as my first time seeing Robert Randoph and he rocked! AATW was just..wow..no words can describe. Even my husband, who hasn't been exposed to much DMB in the past, was way into the show the whole night! Can't wait until next summer!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!! New stuff kicks a$$ live. Robert Randolf really spiced things up with the band. Best DMB show I have ever seen. Looking forward to the boys topping it on night 2.

I thought the show started out slowly, but once it picked up- produced a large amount of energy, and spread that throughout the crowd

First off, for those who don't know already know, Robert Randolf is THE MAN!!! Great way to open the night. All the Stand Up songs (all 9 of them!) sounded really good tonight, a bit disappointed with "You Might Die Trying" though, not as ballsy as it is on the album. "Too Much" and "Bartender" were great, like the new stuff in them. Highlights of the night were "Louisiana Bayou" and "All Along The Watchtower" because of the INSANITY that is Robert Randolf. Jumping up and down, knocking over the steel guitar, playing with his tongue, great stuff. "Smooth Rider" was really cool, especially it being more than 2 1/2 minutes. Dave had some goofy pair of aviator sunglasses on the whole song, funny stuff. "Two Step" was a great ending to a great night, good show boys, good show.

HOLY CRAP!!!(There would be different choice words if I could curse) It's like the older they get the better...not my first concert and most definately not my last! All there is to say is that there are plenty of solos from every member and Robert Randolph was refreshing... that dude can rock out! All along the Watchtower is a DMB classic

Having just gotten back home to Michigan after both Columbus shows, I can say that this show was great, even thought not as strong as night 2. The show started off very slow, with Everyday, Dream Girl, WAYG and "Out of my Hands". Can I just say that "Out of my hands" has no place as a stand-alone live song. Even on the album its more of an outro for "Everybody Wake Up", and live it was just a downer. Also, "Stand Up" and "Steady as We go", though better live than on the album, were not my favorites. Oh well, the boys made up for by ending the set strong with Watchtower, featuring Robert Randolph. At the end of the show came my personal favorite: Two Step. This one rocked hard and long. The best part of the night, though, was that I won $8 from my friends for correctly picking the set closer and encore closer.

This was a great show. Loved the Aviators Dave put on during Smooth Rider! Did anyone else see Carter toss his stick about 15 ft. in the air, catch it, and keep jamming like it never left his hand? To top it off, 10th row dead center.

Pretty good show lots of energy with the new songs. Bartender was way too long with the butch solo. Two Step would of been better if they followed with ants marching but i guees there saving it for wednsday

3rd show ever - I flew back from California to my hometown of Tiffin, and took my g/f of 25 years ago with me (her husband granted us permission) and I think I seduced her into becoming a DMB fan (no, no other "seduction" occured). Played almost all of "Stand Up" (I think they're getting ready to hit Bonaroo) - it was a great night of fantastic good mojo...

My 21st show - really great show but snuck up on me - start was very very low key and slow. Crowd was catatonic to begin with but built up to a frenzy by end of the night - very different from Burgettstown 2 nights ago when it was a frenzy start to finish. First DMB show I've been to in a long time that had big empty sections of seats and lawn only 3/4 full. Must be the weeknight timing or maybe columbus didn't need two shows. Watchtower with robert randolph = instant classic.....

This show is the best show i have yet to see. All of the songs had amazing jams, the light show was off the hook, and robert randolph helped play louisiana bayou and all along the watchtower. The show ended with two step and that is damn hard to beat.

Wow all I can say is Robert Randolf...what an amazing freakin show. He blew Louisiana Bayou away...and he kicked ass on Watchtower..which was my first time seeing it : ) Rest of show solid. Only problems where going to see the show in a college town which always sucks if your there to here Dave and the boys jam...cause you can't over all the kiddies talkin.

The band was in high spirits tonight! Everyday, which usually isn't anything too special, was a great opener thanks to dave's dancing and minimal scating. The band seemed to be having a blast with all the new songs, too. The debut of Bartender was great. They seemed to jam out everything tonight. It was incredible. All Along the Watchtower was awesome. Just awesome. And Robert Randolph...ya gotta hear it for yourself. Get a copy of the show. Dave put on these aviatar sunglasses for smooth rider and it was hilarious! He looked very good in them :-) Two step to close was just perfect. And it was especially long, especially good. I highly recommend a copy of this show.

decent show; not the best, not the worst. Definitely high energy, though. The new material is definitely polished-- but the best part is that it has room to improve with continued touring, and there's plenty of jam potential throughout it. For example, the improv intro to Dream Girl was beautiful (reminiscent of the earlier intro to Rapunzel, heart beat jam.. kinda on the fly, true improv I think)... The new stuff takes on both a mellow (Out of my hands, Steady, Smooth Rider) and high intensity (Bayou, Stand up) flair. And then there's Dream Girl (which is the new crash, IMHO). They had a great time up on stage. Dave picked up a pair of retro sunglasses that someone from the center section had thrown up on stage, and wore them during smooth rider.. classic moment. Robert Randolph came on stage for both watchtower AND bayou, and tore up the stage. It was a highlight of the show for me.. As always, a predictable (but enjoyable) Watchtower set closer (jammed out as always) and Two Step encore closer... Highs: Bayou (fun, high energy); Bartender, PNP--->Rapunzel (classics); Dream Girl (beautiful song); die trying (lots of jam potential, jammed out version again tonight; Robert Randolph on watchtower, Bayou (and killer outro on bayou); killer lighting and effects Lows: Everyday (the crowd wasn't into it as much as in previous shows); smooth rider (E1 song): a bit too redundant, never been a fan; WAYG (kinda the universal "take a piss" song)

Just amazing! Rapunzel is always a crowd pleaser, and one of my favorites. That and Hunger For The Great Light were definately highlights. The only complaint I have is that the crowd sucked this night. Lots of people were sitting down, and many people were moving in and out of the rows, which was very annoying.

show was pretty good and all the new songs were amazing to hear live. They practically played the entire new album, though I do have to say that I hope they spice things up a bit more tonight. The highlight of the show was the two dumb highschool girls in front of me that had no idea what All along the watch tower was, they kept saying "what song is this and why does everyone know it but us??" That was just great. Anyway I hope tonight is better especially cause im in section c row g...later

Too much from Stand Up but what do you expect. RR is killer on slide on Bayou and Watchtower. I liked YMDT. Everyday as an opener sounds worse than it is. I really enjoyed that.

Well, my first show of the summer and 21st show overall, and thanks to Robert Randolph and the Family Band, I'll never forget this show! Sweet intro into "Dreamgirl," too. Thanks to the Warehouse, we were fourth row center and surrounded by happy, dancing DMB fans! I'd like to see a show from the back of the pavillion to see the new light show, but no complaints! My only complaint is the venue lot. They really cracked down on any kind of tailgating or hanging out and that was kind of a buzzkill, having to go inside and buy $7.00 beers. :-( Oh, and on the walk back to the hotel, I tripped on some netting and landed flat on my face, almost breaking my nose. It was embarrassing and I've got a nasty skinned-up nose now. :-( For all of those reasons... and unforgettable night!

Awesome show, sat next to annoyinh kid that thought he knew every song but was wrong on every guess after the first few chords. he actually thought the band was going to play gravedigger when bartender started. anyway, robert randolph for two songs was great. and dave wearing aviator sunglasses during smooth rider was priceless, fun show!!!

Well, this show kept on kicking our ass. It seemed that after we would hear a new song, there would be a reward of a classic. Robert Randolph came out and tore up LB and AATW adding some power that had been declining from the beginning of the show. The band seemed to be on fire tonight but would have to take a break when the new songs would slow them down. The crowd was really into the new stuff untill Out of My hands came and drained all of the energy. Between Everyday and American Baby the improv intro was unexpected and we all were guessing what it was. All in all it was a great show and the two step ending was totally insane. Can't wait to see what is in store for tomorrow night. Lets all pray for some rain for tomorrow night, cuz everything is better wet. P.S. If you were the good lookin girl in the gray sitting in section A row 16 tonite, drop me a line. Out- Boys with the MONKEY
