This was my first live show after being a DMB fan for many years. I finally live in an area that he comes close to. I thought it was a great show, but being my first show, I wish he had played more of his "popular" songs. However, I am sure a lot of the unreleased stuff was much appreciated by those with many concerts under their belt.

Amazing show! SO much better than Charlotte. Great to see #41! Best perfomance of Hello Again I have seen yet (3rd time). Ants was awesome! The whole band was completely on! Fantastic energy, and Dave was funny and talkative (eating bugs? huh?), unlike in Charlotte, where he barely said a word. By far the best concert I have seen of this tour! Plus, it was my nephew's first ever concert! What a great inroduction to DMB live!

my 3rd on a 3 show run in the south (VA beach/ Charlotte). What better way to spend a Monday night then in Raleigh North Carolina. The band was firing on all cylinders as they made there 13th stop at Walnut Creek Amphitheater. In what used to be a regular stop on every tour, the band has chosen not to visit here since 2009.
The evenings performance would see a pretty straight forward set-list. An opener of The Stone, a tour debut of #41 into a moving Everyday outro right into Hello Again. Crazy Easy, Joy Ride & and energetic Too Much. However tonight's show was won in the encore, nothing could have fit the bill any better then the band retaking the stage and the opening licks to Good Good Time. You just felt that something had been missing all night long, this performance delivered big and filled the void. It was one of only 3 GGT's that appeared as an encore, the tour itself would only see the song come up only twice more and then it has been pretty much gone forever. Nothing will ever capture the essence, newness , crispness, originality, lyrics, genius of the 2004 Good Good Times. The song is truly has a special section in the DMB hall of fame. Tripping Billies closed the show and in my mind synonymous with the energy that the band has always brought to rocking Walnut Creek over the years. A Good Good Time and eating, drinking, being merry.

The show was awesome this year. This is my third show in Raleigh. And by far this was the best one. The best songs this year were Satellite, #41, Crush, and Ants Marching. The crowd was the largest its been and they were the best this year.

This show was awesome! It was my 3rd show this tour and I loved it! I was glad to hear OSW, always a treat! However...the highlight of the night was hearing #41! I couldn't believe he played it. My best friend was going nuts! It was great. Great Setlist and as always a great show! I drove from Richmond, Va to see this show and was not dissapointed in the least! Hope Atlantas show is just as great! See ya there!

I was slightly disappointed by this show. I had hoped to here my three favorite lives, Stay, Watchtower, and Don't Drink the Water. It still rocked (as it was my first concert). Also, during the jam session of 41 Dave sings the lyrics from Everyday, very cool. After I got over the disappointment of missing my favorites I did realize I heard Ants Marching, the Stone, and Granny. I'm still in shock about the whole "I've seen Dave Matthews in person thing.

First time to NC,why not a Dave show? High energy show, "Rhyme/Reason" was super, hadn't seen in 2 years! Parking lot scene was dull, but hey, we are going back again, this year - Charlotte.

This show was one of the best I have seen yet in my life. Being that I'm a drummer I'm truly attached to Carter Beauford's style and play. They put on an incredible show and had a great time.

mmmmmmmm i like to eat bugs, good good show! had a great time, especially when carter came back out and gave away some drum sticks and pulled a little kid on stage! Boyd OWNED this show, it was great! leroi had no sunglasses, first time i had ever seen him without glasses. Stefan was jumpin up and down, carter was playing so fast, butch was on, and dave kept saying he loved to eat bugs, but he was definently on too. I could hear his acoustics a lot more this year than i could last year. New songs are fantastic live ie Hello Again!! Best show ive seen in raleigh by far!!!

Got all the classic 2004 songs before they disappeared from rotation. Looking back, this was a really nice set. Last show I saw with LeRoi playing, which makes me wish I'd kept up with them in the years that followed.

Not as good of a show as Charlotte but I moved up about 15 rows which was sweet. The crowd completely died during Sugar Will which has become one of my least favorite songs, but eventually got back on track. Ants was nice to close the show and Billies was fun but nothing amazing.

I thought it was an awesome show, but since it was my first Dave concert I have nothing to compare it to besides live cd's. I wish that he had played Grey Street and Lie in our Graves, but all in all I really thought the variety and the addition of many new songs was nice.

This show was absolutely awesome! It was my first big concert ever, and it totally blew my mind. If you've never been, GO! This was a great show, with a set list I could not have dreamed up more perfect. The drum solo at the end of Hello Again was INSANE! Can't wait till the '05 show!

This was a great show! It seemed to start out a little slow, but the energy of the band and the crowd definitely picked up by Granny, which is one of my all-time favorites live. I had never heard of the band doing #41 with Everyday lyrics, so that was a surprise to me, as was Help Myself. All in all, a great show and I hope my next one is as good as this one was!

My one and only show this year. Sat in the 2nd row which is the closest I've ever been. The band played very up tempo and aggressive tonight with hard driving rhythms on many songs. I think this is a nice change from the more mellow performances I've seen in recent years. Fool to Think was a great performance. Joyride and Hello Again were definite highlights. A good crowd at Walnut Creek and the band responded as if they really appreciated it. Although they always come to play, Dave & Co. seemed to have a better than usual time playing this evening.

Another great show---first for me at Walnut Creek. I thought the energy was a little down from Charlotte (from where I was at---some "uptight" fans nearby). New stuff sounded awesome; old stuff fantastic as usual.

Great Show. As everyone has said #41 was fantastic and the crowd in the pavilion was amped for sure. I think this was the first Dave Matthews Band show where everyone stood the WHOLE show.
Although I have to say the highlight for me was definitely Granny which is one of my all time favs and I hadn't seen it in concert live before with the full band.
That said...Alltel Pavilion is THE WORST. It's 6 miles off any major highway off 2 lane roads...You park in the lawn almost a MILE away from the front gates. There aren't enough bathroom facilities. Cops are flat out intrusive. Horrible...awful..pathetic...these words don't come close to describing this venue.

Pretty good show, but again it seems as if the band used Raleigh as a cool down show for Charlotte. #41 was good to hear, as was Granny. I was excited to hear Good Good Time, which I had not heard from downloaded shows, but definitely has a good feel to it. All things considered, I still had a great time at the show.

Great great show, I travelled from Charleston SC, to Raleigh for the show and I must say that it was well worth the drive. #41 ROCKED, and they were tight for the whole show. I must get a recording of the show. All the new songs I loved!! It was the 7th time I've seen them (well twice just Dave at Farm Aid), and it was like watching them the first time all over. Definately a must download if someone has the recordings for this show. Can't wait for the next one!!! Lata all.

Wow. Amazing show. Stone was great, LOVED granny, Ants was off the charts. New stuff was good. I like the diversity of hello again. It has a strange but impressive combination of banjo fiddle sound that changes to hard core DAVE. They had a couple of sound issues in some songs, which was strange. I forgot to watch for Dave and Boyd hugging at the end of the night. (They hugged at Nissan, Merriweather, and VA Beach...makes you wonder if something is up...) Carter pulling the kid up on stage after the show was cool. Just wish it was me... ;) Crush was so wonderful. Overall, it would have been so much better if my wonderful Dave Show partners (sis, bro-in law & his sister) would have been there. Instead I had a cranky fiancee who didn't "get" the Dave experience. Next year, if my fam can't go, I go alone...Back me up fans... :-D

It was an awesome magical night!!! This was my 30th birthday show (8/2 is my actual b-day but all my friends met up and we celebrated my bday that day) #41 made it's debut. I had 4th row tix on the Boyd's side and I got a drumstick!!!!! It didn't hurt that I thought the crowd and the energy down low was simply amazing- best in 18 shows!!!! Gotta go down as my fav show ever- not for songs but for energy and the events!!! It never hurts to be close either! Thank you DMB especially Carter for making my 30th b-day the best ever!!! Who would've thunk that turning 30 would be sooooo much fun?!?!?!?

My 5th Dave show, great seats. My girlfriend's first show and she got into it. The crowd was great except for some guy in front of us trying to dance. I think his name was "spaz". Good show , I thought something was missing though, no Dancing Nancies, no Watchtower, no Jimmi or maybe cause Carter had his wrist wrapped up or Leroi with no sunglasses on. Not sure what it was but still a good show. I need to see about going to another show this year. Already having DMB withdraws
