My first Dave show, it was incredible. I was really hoping for christmas song, but the encore made up for that. Three little birds made my night, Bob Marley is the best. Dave was a dancing fool, it was awesome. I loved the energy on Thank You. I'm definetly looking forward to the summer tour.

decent show but I was disappointed particularly in the second half. The Dave and Tim set freicken rocked my world so hard it wasn't even funny. Then the Band hit and things kept rockin. Then Emmylou Harris appeared and from there on out the show flatlined. People in my section were not only sitting down but were yelling at others around them to sit. That's a load of crap. I'm as hardcore a Dave fan as there is and never have I ever seen anyone sit down. However, I understand because dear god man the temperature must have been somewhere around the accepted boiling point of water. It was so freakin hot and people were just wanting to leave by the end because they were miserable. I pussed out and ducked out to watch the last song of the encore from the much cooler lobby and witnessed the most distressing scene. People in large qualtities making an exodus from the stadium. I have never seen this. Overall, they should have quit playing before Oh Sister and hit the encore, or they should have spread out the high energy songs better. However, it was a once in a lifetime expirience, I definitly got my money's worth and I'm not sorry I went at all. I'm just a little disappointed that it was the temperature that my making my skin melt off instead of Dave and Trey's sick guitar work.

The whole week before the show I was thinking:I REALLY want to see DMB!
Well, I still want to see them but Dave and Friends satisfied me. I saw this as more of a ROCK show then a DMB show. I loved every minute of it but I don't see how people could keep on going to all these different ones as they are ALMOST the same identical set, with aabout 1 or two songs changing.

craziest thing ive ever been too...he played almost 30 songs! it was so cool to see trey and tim on the same stage..dave and tim opened it up nice and then the band came out and blew everyone away..i loved the 5 song encore..especially with the crowd singing #36 during everyday, dave jus sat back and listened, then decided to join in himself..one of the coolest concerts ever to be a part of

Show #13. Anything but unlucky. This was by far the most amazing concert I've ever been to. Dave and Tim lit it up. The highlight of their set was The Stone. Nancies tore the roof off before the rest of the guys came out. Dave and Friends were simply amazing. So much energy. By midset I was saying that it could be over and I would be happy. But the guys just kept on playing, and playing, and playing, and playing. I don't think they even broke for the encore until after 11pm. Speaking of which, is there anything better than a 5 song encore?? The crowd was awesome with some great sing-alongs. Dave and Trey have such great chemistry. Finally, they closed with an awesome Thank You with some phenomenal dance steps from Dave. Overall, this show beats all my others. Hopefully this energy carries over to the studio and next summer. See you all then. Late!!!!

Well it has finally set in, that was one of the most incredible displays of musical talent, love and magic. I don't know if I can ever see a show to top that, but I say that everytime, nevertheless this one was special. Great Chicago Crowd, with a lot of spirit. Every song was great, the guys jammed on songs I couldn't imagine they would and dave was loving it. To all that were there... cheers.

My first Dave concert. It was a great experience. It was a little hot in the place(as dave referred to), but the crowd participation was awesome. Having Dave,Trey, and Tim on the same stage at once was unbelievable. The encore rocked(dave dancing,tim w/o a shirt playing guitar with his teeth). Well worth the trip up north.

Wow....what an amazing thing to be a part of- I snuck out of work at 10 a.m. to order tickets the day they went on sale and within 15 minutes none were available (the short version, the long version is quite a story). The only show in the midwest, and I got go! Hearing Dave's continually strengthening mid and low range (in the dwindling of his falsetto) in addition to the incendiary guitar sounds of trey, and the studio-discipline style of Brady Blade was an incredible thing to witness. What I thought would be a standard album concert turned into a jam-show the likes of Phish, though highlights clearly include Sweet Up and Down, a 4-song acoustic encore containing Phish's (and Dave cover) Waste (thank you SO MUCH for that guys), Marley's Three Little Birds, Everyday, and Phish's Bathtub Gin (all with exceptional crowd participation, minus the brain children who can't count for god's sakes, which effectively led to what seemed to be a look of confusion on Dave and Trey as to where count 1 was. "Thank You" was....well...just that- thank you, the energy was incredible. Tim, with shirt on head, and Trey going absolutely off the wall with guitar solo's, Dave's awesome dances, and finally concluding with a nice little circle around Blade's kit as he ended with a simple shake of the moraccas. Incredibly long, Incredibly awesome.....just incredible.

it was awesome, dave and tim and dave and trey, the encore blew me away, some phish and everyday, #36 crowd, Ii didnt look at the setlists before so I had no idea what was going to be played, I was blown away, thank you, trouble and crush were highlights, it was the longest concert by dave I believe 2 hours and 52 min of pure music and jamming, just simply amazing

probably one of the best shows that i've been too and heard about in a long time. during 3little birds, dave and trey stopped singing the chorus and the entire stadium serenaded them and afterwards trey had said that something wonderful like that had never happened before at any concert that he's been to or performed at. it was a truly spiritual experience. dave put his guitar down for the last song, "Thank You", about 5 minutes into it and he danced for a full 10 minutes. he's got some crazy moves!! during "bathtub gin" the crowd did the same thing and trey seemed to be on cloud 9. dave has a nack for saying bizzare things but i think that after introducing Emmylou at the beginning, he topped it off by saying "Aparantly Jesus is from Chicago". Everyone on stage was soooo ecstatic and practically glowing. During the last song, Timmy along with Brandy Blade and Tony Hall, took off their shirts. Timmy, being the nut that he is, but his shirt on his head and put on his sun glasses to top it off. They were really on that night and i think that this concert will be the one to top many. Thank you Dave,Tim (who played his guitar with his teeth by the way..), TREY, Brandy, Tony, Emmylou, and Ron. You guy really know how to jam!! Happy Holidays!

BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER SEEN and I didn't even know half the songs -- this time not because they were Dave or DMB songs -- I knew all of those! -- but there were a lot of covers, and I loved them all. This was an amazing display of talent, and an amazing crowd experience. I've never heard a crow sing like they did on 5 minutes of "Three Little Birds," a song with one verse and a great refrain. WHAT A CONCERT.

I have been to a couple dozen dmb shows and have never seen that much energy from dave. he was awesone and hilarious with trey. they had such great chemistry between the two that has been lacking from the whole band. it was refreshing to see how much fun dave was having. the setlist was amazing and the crow was well, chicago, the greatest. peace and heres hoping to another dave and friends solo tour. they even made sweet up and down sound great!

Alright ants, here's what. Me and my pals Paul, Alex, Kara and Sashee all went to this show on one mild day in two separate cars. The plan was that I would ride with Saheesee and Paul on the way down and Alex and Kara on the way back to Green Bay. Anyway, we have these walkie talkies to communicate between cars on the way down. Of course Alex thinks he knows Rosemont better than anyone on the planet because he's been there once, but I digress. I didn't really have high expectations for the show but I did really have a good time. The D+T set was really predictable and the low point of the show. 'Some Devil' was played cover to cover which was a bit of a disappointment. I enjoyed such numbers as 'Too High' during which some kid behind me got too high and collapsed on top of me. That meatwhistle had to be carried out. I also liked the 'Hey Bulldog' cover and the Dave and Trey set. On the way out Alex couldn't find his keys so he tried desperately to find them only to realize they had been in his ignition for the whole show. By the time he figured that out, the rest of us were halfway home. What a Sal. Until next time.

Simply one of the greatest nights of music of my life. Never wanted it to end. My crew and Dave and Trey were on the same exact wavelength and it was profoundly moving. It was like a big joyous eff-you to all the Phishheads who hated Dave and all the Dave fans who hated Phish, like everyone in this place was on the same team and that togetherness was going to somehow triumph over all the hate in the world. Whoops, that sure didn\'t happen but oh well. Would love to see another D&F tour but this will never be duplicated.

Excellent... excellent... excellent!!! What a show... I was totally awestruck. By far the best concert that I have been to. These guys really know how to capture the crowd and put on a wonderful show. 15th Row is not bad... Seeing Dave and Tim play was a treat in itself. The set list was great "Trouble" was awsome... in fact all the songs were awsome... I really enjoyed hearing "Solosbury Hill" they did a great job covering that. Great to see Dave and Trey playing and how they react to one another it really is neat... especially when Trey put his guitar down for the crowd to recite Bathtub Gin... Everyday was great what a great crowd... awsome show... and excellent Encore!!! Timmy without his shirt on and Dave doing his crazy moves with Trey on cloud 9 was totally hilarious. All in all I would rate this show as an A+++ in my books by far one of the best. Wish that they would do this every winter.

Just look at the freaking setlist. Unbelievable. The covers were some of the highlights of the show, especially Solisbury Hill. I didn't get Fool in the Rain or Superstition, but SUAD much outweighed the absence of both of those. This was the show that wouldn't end, too bad I couldn't have seen it in a better venue with better seats.

This show was great. Trey and Dave both forgetting some lyrics was classic, everybody was having a great time in the crowd and up on stage. Tim rocked! The crowd was really into the Bob classic; "Three Little Birds." And a couple of fantastic Phish and DMB tunes really got the crowd into the show. An amazing show to finish off the year.

The encore was so freakin cool. I couldnt believe that it just kept on going. Was expecting to hear Fool in the Rain but i got the better of the encore to hear "every little thing is gonna be alright" from the crowd while looking at Trey's face simply stunned. The encore was the most amazing thing i have ever seen at a dave show! First, Dave and Trey come out and play a few tunes, with the audience singing with them. Then the band comes out, with Tim's shit tied on his head and sunglasses on and Brady's shirt off. Here I am 5 months after the show and awaiting the soon to begin summer DMB tour. This morning I was listening AGAIN to the D&F show from Allstate and still get goosebumps! I was so lucky to have amazing 3rd row center seats right in front of Dave. Oh, and thanks to the man who was sooo tall in front of me for standing sideways most of the night so I could see. I always love the DMB,D&T shows,but this was absolutely beautiful to experience. I'm sure Dave and the others enjoy touring with their respective bands, etc. but I have never seen such a show of joy in my life. I also went to the show in Oakland and it was great,but the energy here ,because of the wonderful crowd, was something magical. During Thank You all I could think was, "No guys, THANK YOU!" It was really hot in the arena for the audience,but imagine the heat onstage under those lightsyet those guys never stopped. Dave only proved to me that he has much more talent hidden away than we ever see. It will be fun to see what else he and the band come up with. Trey was a joy to see as was Tim letting loose like he did. All were great and it was a tour to be proud of. I only can wish for a professional release of the show on DVD and/or CD.

Great show. Dave and Tim were definitely on for a great opening set. When they played The Stone, Dave mouthed the "Wise Men Say" lyrics at Tim, but didn't sing them, sadly. Their set obviously had some incredible songs in it, and they played very strongly. When the rest of the friends came onstage, they showed incredible cohesivity. I really enjoyed Trouble, Stay or Leave, and the long jam on Dodo as the openers and they excellence followed from there. The Encore was truly amazing. Dave and Trey came out to sing four songs together with some champagne. The crowd sang hard and strong, and Dave and Trey even stopped just to listen for a couple minutes. The funky cover of Thank You was the perfect end to this fantastic show--about 2/3 of the way though, Dave just dropped his guitar and danced like a fool. Incredible.

First of all I had AMAZING seats..right on the side of the stage which is the closest I have ever been to mr.dave matthews so I was freaking out.Secondly, this entire show was freaking incredible!!!Everything about it was just unbelievable from Dave and Tim, to the band, to Trey and Dave, and the crowd!I am never ever ever going to forget this show!!Rock ON!!

All I can say is that I am a hardcore DMB and Phish fan, so this was a once in a lifetime show. No, the show did not produce the energy of a DMB or Phish show, but that was not the purpose. It was about friends getting together and having a good time. This concert was history in the making, two legends (Dave and Trey) on stage side by side singing a DMB song into a Phish song!!! Nothing else needs to be said. I am sick of hearing all the winers about it not being a DMB show. Cherish it, see it once, and continue with the big bands. It is as simple as that.

Got anialated at the hotel with Red, Burns, and Salty Balls, then went to Hooters to stare at some nice TA TA's, and then went to the pre-party at the Radisson, then got more hammed, then went to the concert, openin band was horshit, then smoked a J with this nerd next to us and got ripped and then went back to the hotel and melted. concert was really good and long!!!

Had trouble getting to the arena after a few wrong turns - then had trouble connecting back up after the show with everyone making cell calls right after the show. By far, the best Dave Matthews experience I have ever witnessed! This may be in part to me having absolutely no expectations walking into the concert, other than having a good 'ol time (as compared with dave concerts of wanting to hear this song or that jam). It seemed everyone there enjoyed everything that was put before them.
The crowd was awesome and ever-grateful, as was the intensity every band member had as they fed off the energistic aroma the crowd prespired.
The encore was unbelieveable, as Dave and Trey sang along with the crowd to their acoustic journeys. The entire band topped it off with "Thank you", drummer and Tim Reynolds shirtless and Tim sporting the shades with shirt on head. Tim played his guitar with his toungue, and Dave did the longest and most enthusiastic dance on stage I've ever seen.
This is without a doubt the show of all shows to have in your dave collection. Mr. Matthews should SERIOUSLY consider releasing this night on CD and perhaps DVD (so all could witness his spectacular dancing during "Thank You").

Possibly my favorite dave show ever. This was amazing, i was so happy i got to see dave and tim perform solo at first because i didn't get to go when they came around earlier in the year. As far as the rest of the concert, man o man. These guys played forever!! it was amazing, tim was playing like crazy, with his teeth, shirt on his head like cornholio, o it was great. Show #27 ---Unbelievable! I wasn't expecting too much...just straight forward album songs and some cool covers. That was the way it was going until...something happened and the show turned into a phenomenon near the end. Trey was awestruck at the crowd during 3 little birds. He encouraged everyone to sing "everything is gonna be alright" and it roared in sync for ~5-10 minutes. I usually detest the crowd singing out loud (we all know the words and I don't want to hear other people sing!) However, this was special. I felt this was a once in a lifetime show (Dave and Trey) and if you aren't going...you should scratch and claw your way to find tickets.

This show was absolutly frickin' AMAZING! Dave & Tim did thier thing in the beginning. Tim Reynolds is so good, should have made Rolling Stones top 100 guitarists. D & F came out and the show just rocked out. 5 song encore and audience participation for the encore songs was great. This was the longest show in Dave's concert history, over 3 hours! Sweet Up, Sweet Down was so good, they turned it into a fabulous jam. Hey Bulldog was loud and energizing. Everyday was surprisingly one of the best songs of the night. Solsbury Hill, Bathtub Gin, Waste, Save Me, & Too high get a WOW! The night was capped off by a long jamming, Sly & the Family Stone, Thank You (falettinme be mice elf agin). Dave danced, Trey bounced, Tim played with his teeth and the crowd sang wonderfully. This was definitly one of the best shows in Dave Matthews history. If you weren't there, get a copy of the show!

The beginning and the end of the show were some of the best I have ever seen in my 16 shows... the middle-end just kinda flatlined... the encore was absolutely great. Just a side note... if you know every word to every song you do not need to sing them as loud as you can to prove how much of a fan you are... this is to SEC 104 row 2 around seats 8 and 9. That is great to be so into the show but singing loudly and off key makes it hard to hear the great music being played. Overall this was a truely unique experience seeing Dave, Tim and Trey so mesmerized my the music they were playing and by the crowd participation. Thanks DMF.

This show was awesome. Whoever thought this tour wouldn't live up to the hype was wrong. This show went on for almost 3 and half hours. I still love DMB more but that show was just great. My girlfriend liked Dave dancing around at the end. she thought it was hot. I just thought it was kinda funny. Some on here said the show died kinda after Oh Sister. The reason for that was 5 of the next 8 including Oh Sister were covers and I think many people did't know all of them. But the encore made up for it. The crowd was singing most of the songs and with Three Little Birds and the #36 intro and outro to Everyday that got the crowd in it. Show rocked the whole earth not just All State.

I drove 8 hours by myself and paid 170 bucks to see this show...but seeing SUAD, Nancies, Cry Freedom, and Stay or Leave...damn..so worth it. ok, now I was really pumped for this show, being on the day before my birthday and all(and since they played so long it actually ran over), but I have to say that it was not nearly as good as a DMB show. The dave and tim set was incredible, and the first several songs with the friends were great, but then the band completely lost the energy it had built up. People were literally falling asleep, I was very disappointed that dave, being the artist that he is, would string together 5 or 6 really mellow, slow songs like he did. Starting with too high things picked back up, great sweet up and down, and an amazing encore made up for the lackluster mid section, yet I coudlnt leave without feeling a little cheated. I would have gladly cut down on the time in order to maintain the intensity, but overall very good. Cant wait until the summer tour.

Totally f***ing sweet is all I can think to say, this was my first time seeing Dave live and it did not dissappoint. Being an avid Phish fan, it blew me away that they ended with Bathtub Gin, my favorite phish song.
