the show was amazing..the set had incredible energy. i have to say that that was the biggest crowd i have seen at umb but the lawn at a dave show there is never focused on the music.. however there were still true dave fans like my self there.. there may not be many but the ones that are are die-hard

I don't know what everyone is saying about "..they didn't play my favorite song..." or "...they should have played this or that.....". This is one of the best shows I have ever been to. The energy from the band was amazing. Also, I don't know why everyone is down on the STL crowd. Even before RRFB started playing, Dave walked out and the crowd went nuts, and the show hadn't even began. It was even crazier when Dave started playing. I can remember not singing (which I did the whole show) for a minute and the WHOLE crowd was singing along, and dancing. MAJOR energy from the crowd. I called DDTW as the opener. Crush was a pleasent surprise. BOWA was amazing. The whole middle run was pretty much awesome, with WAYG and TF, ending with Too Much. The encore was so energetic, it was hard not to be jumping around. PNP>Rapunzel was an amazing closer. If Carter would have thrown his stick just a few rows farther I would have gotten it. DARN! Maybe next year. I also thought it was cool that the band didn't just walk off stage, which I have seen before. They stuck around and shook hands. THE SHOW WAS AWESOME!!!

Good set. I thought the show was great. The crowd directly around me sucked but I have seen worse. Seriously starting with BOWA the entire middle of the set was absolutely incredible.

Anyone there could tell that the band had so much fun tonight, which always makes for a wonderful show. And by the way, RR & the Family Band rocks my socks!

great show, great setlist and energy. i was slated for center section row pp but the Upgrade Angel from me, my friend and two others and hualed us off saying that our tickets were fakes from Warehouse. I had to sign for the things so i knew they weren't but was worried about the hasle. he took us to the front and gave the other two the tenth row and us First Row, Center. Completely rocked. Got some smiles from the guys, felt great.

A fun night in STL!!!! Robert Randolph opener was badass too. An all around great show and great night. And 24 hours later I was in ATL seeing Metallica so this was a crazy travel-filled 2 days seeing two fun ass bands. Oh sometimes I miss college....

UNBELIEVABLE! The last time I had DDTW open a set was in Chicago and it was one amazing setlist so I had a funy feeling about this one. things were going normal until BOWA. the ONE song I wanted to hear. then ants, minarets, help myslef, and saygoodbye. all 5 sounded AMAZING> too much had so much energy and the encore blew my mind. I figured they'd close wtih Stay since they've done SMTS>Stay and was kinda disappointed cuas emy friend was DYING to hear PNP>Rapunzel. and on her 8th show, it happened. we both danced like crazy people. what a night. see ya in antioch!

This is was my second DMB show and by far, the best. I went to the first night last year (at UMB) and it was really good, but this year was great. I don't mind the newer stuff, but I was so excited to hear the older songs. DDTW great opener, I called it! 1 Sweet World was fun, i really wanted to hear it. I went crazy as soon as they started BOWA, didn't expect it and it was certainly a Christmas present in July! I was really pulling for Crash since they skipped it last year. Once again, I was blown away when they started Ants!!! great finish and terrific encore, they encores before this show consisted of a lot of what you ares, and such. But Rapunzel topped the night off. I'm pulling for Dave and Tim to come round the STL area this winter!!! That would be a dream come true, maybe for a Some Devil tour??

It was amazing. Absolutely the best I have eveer seen the band. I am still getting over how great the finale was. Rapunzel to end it was fabulous. I recommend that they make this concert into a live cd.

Pretty great set list packed with old tunes. Highlights of the show were When the World Ends into Crash, Minarets, and an incredibly energetic Rapunzel. Curiously no long jams which was kind of sad, including a shortened Crush, but over all great set list and a great show.

Great concert!! Rapunzel was a great encore, and what and outstanding version of Minarets. Long drive from Omaha, but well worth it. Boyd's True Reflections was the highlight of the show. Tough not to see 2 Step, Watchtower, or Dancing Nancies as an encore, though.

GREAT TIME! Good energy from the band. FINALLY saw Say Goodbye (my fav) live. Really enjoyed True Reflections (could have sworn that Carter was trying to imitate the Lovely Ladies with some of his backups). Encore was to die for.

To me it was the night of rarities. My friends and I felt so elitist as we screamed and cheered for some of our favorites like "Help Myself" and "Say Goodbye" which not many others seemed to recongnize. We were in heaven however when Dave began the opening riff to "Minarets." When Dave came out for the encore and began to play SMTS after already playing "Too Much," I was very curious to see how he would end it. When he went into ASTB I was even more confused and shocked. The transition in PNP and subsequently into "Rapunzel" was one of the most amazing displays of musician ship I have seen in quite sometime. Bravo Dave. Bravo DMB. BRAVO CARTER! Needless to say, I went home happy. I think I could relive that night for the rest of my life, and notice something new each time.

What more can I say than great show. This was my sixth Dave show and by far my best so far. We had front row seats and ended up being directly in front of the stage by the gates. Our spot really made the night. PS: I threw a red and white Dr Suess hat on stage which Dave picked up and put on... only my friend was too drunk to snap the picture. Maybe any of my fellow Ants could assist me in getting a picture of Dave with it on??

I love the band and I think the set list was great for the true fans. This was only my 4th show. If Dave Mathews doesnt like the StL I fully understand why. Being short on cash we had to get some Lawn seats back when they went on sale. The place in the lawn we where was a bunch of people who didnt shut up even during songs that are crowd favorites. so finally we moved closer and was able to enjoy the show a bit more. DMB played great and sounded good. I am soo tired of the fair weather fans in the StL. If you like baseball we are #1 fans. If you talking DMB I say gas up the tank and head to Chicago for a great show. The one Chicago show I went to was the best DMB show ever and I know the band didnt sound any different last night as they did then. I like to see the show with true fans not 18 year old drop-outs who are trying to score drugs and get laid. DMB dont give up on the StL but I would suggest playing the Saviss center for a new venue. Less traffic issues and less fair weather fans would come. All this is one man's opinion!!!! Thanks for a great show!! P.S. I wouldn't suggest seeing DMB at UMB bank pavilion if you cant get seats. Lawn seats will kill the show!!! Next time I am Road trippin to Chicago!

This was my 20th show and it's the best one yet. The boys were in perfect form. My girlfriend and I had vip seats, dead center, right behind the soundboard. I even had the chance to talk with the band's sound guy! I learned some of the tricks for shows that I perform. I believe that Minarets was the highlight of the evening. The emotion Dave put into that song gave me chills. Best seats that I've ever had at show. Paid the price, but it was more than worth it. Thank you to everyone in the band for the best show so far! -B DA V

The band played the most diverse set list I have heard in a long time. The crowd was great and the band seemed to be having a blast. Highlights of the show were Help Myself, and the So Much to Say into Rapunzel for the encore. If you get a chance to check out Robert Rudolph and the Family Bnad definately do so!! Next to Bela Fleck they are the best opener Dave has had.

This was a most excellent show, even though it lacked a few major Dave songs like watchtower, two step,#41. Boyd does some really good violin solos. Expecially the one he does in his own song "True Reflections." The band seemed to be having a great time on stage and really got into the songs. Too Much was defenitly the song that had the most energy. During a couple of songs, I happened to look back behind me at all the people in the grass standing, cheering, lighters lit high in the air and I was thinking, "this is unreal. These guys are simply unbelievable how easily they can get a crowd going." The show can be described with one word, "awsome." It fits this word well and was awsome from start to finish!

wow! one of the best I've seen. Quite possibly due to lack of chatting dumbasses during the show. Very respectful crowd from where we were at. Plus: Minarets, mid-set Ants, BOWA, Help Myself, Say G'bye, R&R, TR, much more...Encore was magnificent. Show had alot of energy. The performance of Minarets was electric. Dave put a lot of soul into this one. Thanx guys.

This show was awesome. I had center kk, which isn't exactly awesome but they were really good seats. The setlist was almost all could ask for. The encore was amazing. It was actually SMTS > ASTB > PNP > Rapunzel. This is definitely the best show I have seen and it's nice to see the band so energized and dave's voice sounding good.

One of the best shows I saw! We drove there from Quincy without tickets about 3 hours before the show started and when we got there they were sold out. Then, by the grace of God they had 3 tickets pop up and they were about 20th row center! An incredible memory!

The show was great. It began and i was thinking that the show would be nothing special and then they played BOWA, Ants, Minarets, Help Myself, and Say Goodbye all in a row. Enough said. The rest of the show was decent, but those five songs made it one of the best shows i've ever seen.

This was A incredible show as everyone has pointed out....Dave has a reputation of not liking St.Louis very much, but tonight with the way they played and the setlist they gave us, I hope that myth gets dispelled. Also, I was sitting in the very front of the grass on the right side, it was unbelievable to turn around and see just a sea of people all jamming to Dave, You have to wonder if they ever get awed by it. The encore was great, up-tempo the whole time! I think we really could of gone without LW though....Oh well, still the best St.Louis Dave concert I've been to yet!
