got to love the D+T shows, but was a little dissapointed with the venue and the drunkies that were yelling the whole time. felt like we were at a school prep rally. Dave had to tell them to shut up a few times. we were sitting on beachers, but that type of show is still well worth the time.

I was at this show, and it was by FAR the best show i've ever been to, he played so much of the old stuff, and told jokes between songs, it couldn't have been any better.

Awesome!!! The best thing ever, Dave was funny and awesome, Tim is unbelievable and awesome, show was AWESOME! The crowd was horrible, dont know why everyone has to get wasted before a D&T Show. After looking at Purdue's reviews I hope Dave comes back to CMU.

1st time seeing a D&T show (15th time seeing Dave). Very intimate venue. Really enjoyed this show with Alicia. Seats were not bad, considering how small the place was. Was approx. 20 rows from stage, close to center on floor.

Amazing show despite the crowd being rude, unfortunetly this was my first show i had seen without getting warehouse tickets and on top of it in such a small venue with such an intimate setting it only took a couple outburst at inopurtune times to stand out.

Very intimate night. Lined up outside Rose Arena for 2 hours just to get in. Dave was hilarious talking about the girls volleyball players. Tim was outstanding. He blew me away. CMU students were drunk and yelling all the time. People were on their cellphones a lot. Oh yeah, it was too damn hot in there, but it was still the greatest night of music I've ever seen.

This was the best show I was at. Unfortunately people were obnoxious and wouldn't shut up. It was hard to hear Dave. But other then that the set list was the best I have ever been to. I want this concert on CD if I can find somebody who taped.

The Best of the 20+ shows I have been to. We couldn't get tickets, but we showed up just to see if anyone was selling some. The box office lady told us they had to rearrange to sound system, and there was a new section that opened that day. Awesome seats, close, and just left of the middle. The dave gods were smiling on us that day... The crowd was terrible, but everything else was great.

Great show except for the inconsiderate crowd. Dave and Tim started out nice and strong and kept it going through an incredbile encore. Great to hear Stay or Leave which is an awesome new song, as well as a great Crush, Graves, and plenty of Davespeak.

this was my first ever dave show... and i have never been more excited for anything... ever. the first thing i have to talk about was the crowd... if i could just subtract the few drunken ass holes who would constantly scream obnoxious things at dave, the show would have been a lot more special. at times, my best friend and i (who also was attending his first dave show,) would just look at each other and almost feel horrible for not only dave and tim, but the fact that there were so many people taking away the emotion from something so amazing. aside of that though, the set list that they played was outstanding. a very diversified concert, i was pleased to say the least about their choices on songs. two songs i really wanted to hear were #41, and lie in our graves. they played them in a row, and i could not believe what i was hearing. ending it with nancies was what he has been doing a lot on this tour, and then when they kicked in ants marching... the crowd went nuts. mad props to tim on his solos. he continues to amaze me time after time. overall, an amazing experience that i will never forget, and i can not wait to see them again...

Ok, this show (music-wise) was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The setlist, the jams, the stage, ------everything was AMAZING! Dave was so on and the few times he told stories were really funny. The highlights of this show for me were #41 and then right after LIOG! Man, lie in our graves was sooo great! And then for the encore when I thought it was over with nancies, dave started right into Ants, I totally wasnt expecting a second song for an encore because dave has only been doing one. My biggest complaints for the show were as follows. 1) People need to TURN OFF THEIR FREAKING CELL-PHONES!!!!!!!! I cant tell you how many times the girl next to me got on her cell phone to call her friends and let them know that she was at the show. She was so busy calling them I dont know how she even heard the show. 2) People need to have a little bit MORE resepect for Tim Reynolds and not use his solo's as a chance to his up the bathroom! And last but not least 3) Dont scream out random ass shit about how much you love dave, or what songs you want to hear because all you do is take away the intimacy of the show and not allow dave to speak! If it wasnt for the ANNOYING crowd, this would have been far and away the best show i have been to! Thanks so much dave & tim, cant wait to see you this summer!

It was a great show. Dave and Tim just flow when they jam together. The concert was in the basketball stadium of Central so it was a small, comfortable venue. However, the show was somewhat ruined by the stupid people yelling shit out during the show. If you could put that aside, which we did, it was just an incredible show.

Awesome show. Dave was hilarious, as expected. Tim's solos were jammin' and when the two of them got into a song, they GOT INTO IT! Nancies was great and crush was the best I have ever heard. I was happy to hear #41 but wish it wouldve been longer. However, I have NO complaints whatsoever. Keep up the good work, guys.

Before I go on about how great the show was, I must offer my two cents on those annoying people with the flash lights and all of you who pay money to see a show and spend most of your time away from your seat. I dont know about any of you, but those flashlight people found every possible way to block my view. It seemed that SEC BB Row 1 was the meeting place for these guys, and this happened to be my seat. After nicely asking a guy to move, he refused so I blew up at him. He tried to tell me how he needed to make sure no one had pot or smokes and that he had been there since 11am. I guess he thought that made him important. He didnt block my view again and I got applause from SEC BB. This is for all of you kids who find it necessary to drink massive amounts of booze before you go to a show. My advice is dont. Why would you want to spend half the show pissing, when you could be listening to great music. Plus you look stupid stumbling around like you are lost. I mean dont get me wrong. I love drinking, but I dont need to be blitzed at a show and pissing the whole time. Ok enough with that. This was by far the best concert I have ever seen. Dave and Tim were on. It amazes me how Dave can sing for 3 hours and not miss a note or lose pitch. Tim was incredible. I have never seen a hand move that fast. Best Song: Jimi Thing "For What its Worth" What Will become of me. I expected a little more DaveSpeak and hilarious rambling, but his topics were great. I dont know what you call it, but the intro to Nancies was great. Looking forward to the summer tour. I'm Out

Music: Unbelievable! couldn't have asked for another song to be played, well, until after when I thought of all the songs they didn't play, but during the show I was enthralled, captivated and just plain f'in happy to be there and see it. Gravedigger put me down for the count. Crowd: Stupid people exist, so that there can be smart people, and we wouldn't have one without the other. I never would have even mentioned the crowd if it wasn't for everyone else doing so......my focus was never on that aspect of the show.

It was amazing. It was my first Dave and Tim live experience and it was ten times better than I had expected it to be. I have seen DMB four times, and although the setlists they crank out are very powerful, the greatness of the setlist on 4/1 surpasses all concerts nearly combined. After five shows, I finally heard Crash Into Me and that made the whole night perfect. Dave took a lot from Crash and UTTAD, which I am very happy for. Also, to hear Help Myself live is also a treat. He was hilarious, talking of how his dressing room was the women's volleyball lockerroom and how he enjoyed the fabulous photographs hanging about the place. He also did a great drunkard impression before Dancing Nancies- he is a great entertainer, speaking or singing. I was able to meet him before the show and I assure you he is much, much taller in person. Anyone who missed this show definitely missed out on a fabulous night.

The students were awful. Warehouse double-booked a lot of seats. That said, this show was great. This was my very first Dave & Tim show and I was so amazingly happy. I had thought my expectations were just too high to be satisified and D&T came through for me. Great ending jams on all the songs, especially loved Jimi Thing.

I received a pleasant suprise a few weeks before this show. The Warehouse upgraded my tickets to Sect FC Row FA Seat 13 and 14. My seats were dead center. I got seats to 3 of the Dave and Time shows(Central Michigan, Miami of Ohio, and Purdue) but gave up the Purdue tickets to some of my friends so that they could join in the experience. I have always loved seeing the whole band play live shows. Getting the opportunity to see Dave and Tim play was nothing short of amazing.

This was my second show this tour, the first being Boone, NC, and it was awesome. This arena was tiny, and our seats had a great view, even though they were bleachers, whick somewhat annoyed me. Dave predictably opened with Bartender, but followed it up with a great version of Trippin Billies. I love The Best of Whats Around, especially acoustic, so I was pleased to hear that next. The crowd was definitley a little rowdy, and either missed or ignored Dave's not so subtle hints to shut up. Some fans were more blunt, but the annoying girl behing me continued to scream "I love you Dave!" Oh well. Dave still managed to tell some hilarious stories, about his dressing room in the Girls Locker room, about how he has a crush on #8 on the volleyball team, and the ugly frogs back in Africa. Some of the best songs of the night were Jimi Thing, with an unexpected interpolation from "For what its Worth", the new and continuously improving "Stay or Leave", and a huge "Crush", with a long solo section, featuring Timmy, that devolved into a stop-time jam out. I personally thought Tim's two solo songs with excellent, reinforcing my belief that he is the Guitar God, but apparently some members of the audience thought those songs best for stretching and bathroom breaks. What a shame, but its their loss. Dave's new narrative intro to Dancing Nanies is hilarious, and the song was great. Ants Marching was a good closer, but the crowd sang so loud I could barely hear Dave. Tim just went insane on his solo, playing super high and super fast. Overall, a phenomenal show musically, somewhat distracted by the boisterous crowd.

Could have a been a good show if: 1) 1/4 of the crowd would have kept their mouths shut. This was not the "99' Tripping Billies Summer Tour" but rather and ACOUSTIC SHOW! 2) The constant screams of "I love you Dave", "I want to party with you Dave", "Satellite" and "play 41" was maddening! I did like it when someone from the crowd finally had enough and screamed "Shut the Fuck Up" which Dave and Tim gave a thumbs up, 3) This isn't a Steve Miller Concert so screaming because Dave mentions "getting high" during Crush, Jimi Thing, and When The World Ends is SO Annoying! 4) The smoke and constant camera flashes could have been kept to a minimum. 5) Finally, fat tan girls in tight clothing is always funny! Probably never another show at that campus again!
