It was awesome, I met Dave before the show and I remember a guy using his Video camera to tape when Dave was signing autographs. If he could e-mail me, it would be awesome!! Or anyone who has good pics. (ABREAU3@hotmail.com) I want a copy of that video soo bad!! Anyways, the show was incredible!! Look at the setlist, and it was 3:20 min. long. Need I say more...

Totally amazing. One of the few chances I've had to listen to Dave tell stories from his life. At one point the laughter put me into tears. Tim's perfomance was mind-blowing.

awesome show, bit of a loud start, but calmed down and was extremely good after a bit

The audio was weak, so I could't really hear the davespeak, but the music was incredible.

Bad ass. Not only for Dave and Tim, but one of the best shows of any band I've ever seen (not words I often throw around).

Very good setlist but very fair crowd. They could have been more respectful to Timmy while he was playing and to Dave when he was speaking. But overall all great show, funny stories, and great music.

I will never forget my buddy yelling out ""Dave can I take you to show and tell""--and dave talking for about 10 min about going to school in south africa---great stories---great songs

Awesome. Sat 75ft from the stage (section 105, row B, seat 4... it was better than most of the floor seats). My first Dave show (gotta start somewhere). I sat in the snow for 13 hours over night to get the tickets. Definitely well worth it. It was incredible.

Except for a couple of people in the crowd who ignored Dave's request to be respectful, this was an amazing show. Dave told some very amusing stories. I would definitly go again to A D & T show if I get the chance.

The show was enjoyable, but the college kids there were drunk and ridiculously rude. One girl even said "Shut up and play something"

All I have to say is wow. Despite the fans being obnoxiously loud this was one of the more special artistic events I have ever been to in my life. There probably isn't a better opener than 'tender. Hearing a slow, soft Fool to Think was so different than with the full band. Truly amazing. PFWYG was unreal and totally came out of nowhere. Dave is one of a few artists out there who can put emotion into certain songs like he does so well in Gravedigger and Grace. Not to metion the highlight of the show for me. Probably the most "tingly" I have ever felt during any song Dave has sung was their rendition of Big Eyed Fish. It was played sooo slow and sooo soft that you almost didn't want them to stop. Something that sticks out which is weird is the lighting was just spectacular during this song. The stage got really dark and a royal blue and light green tie-dye sort of lighting was thrown at D&T and the backdrop. Coupled with the softness of the song it was a feeling I can't quite put into words, you'll just have to trust me. The rest of the show was AWESOME and this show only stands behind the 2002-04-12 show in Providence as the best show I have been to. Props to Dave and Tim. Please come back again.

I'll get it out of the way now: The audience sucked. OK, now on to the show. WOW. I mean, WOW. My seats were in the first set of risers, dead center. Dave and Tim were amazing. Highlights: "Big Eyed Fish," little bit o'Elvis, little big o' Beatles "Norweigan Wood," and "This Land is My Land" in DDTW.

Just got back and I am still in awe of the show!!! Dave's stories, Tim's playing, the Setlist....it was all unbelievable. Dave was hilarious the entire night with his stories. This was my first D&T show and it didn't disappoint me at all!!!!

This show was absolutely amazing. They played all great songs like "Crush," "Ants Marching," and "Lie in our Graves." Dave was so funny throughout the whole night. He kept telling totally random stories that were hilarous. He also made fun of the people in the crowd who were yelling out "#41," and "Halloween." It was so funny-- What a great show!

I was in the second row. What a show! I am a HUGE fant of acoustic music and actually love getting copies of songs by all different artists in an acoustic version. You can actually appreciate the songs on another level. Tim was great as usual and I never thought I'd sit that close at a Dave concert. The venue was nice an intimate which really allowed you to listen and just enjoy. The ONLY negative part of the show...the goddamn obnoxious drunk fans who kept shouting at VERY inappropriate times...quite obviously annoying Dave and Tim and I was surprised they didn't get the hint after Dave kept trying (as nice as possible) to get them to be quiet.

Aside of the traffic, and those who were there know how bad it was, this has to be damn close to the best dave show i have seen. (4/21/01 UVA is number 1, but that's helped by the 14-hour drive to the show and the company i was with and am now married to.) Anyways, the setlist had all of our fave dave songs, (except they didn't play warehouse :-( oh well... no watchtower either) Dave had fun with a few teases, Tim played an amazing cover of Neil Young's goldrush into ohio. And before you get the new solo album, check out the two going at it on gravedigger!! We can't wait for D&T to tour again. If you haven't seen them together live, go. Even if you have to drive. Far. We'll be there. With our daughter ;-) Peace... ...WiL

This was my first Dave Matthews Show ever. I stood outside in a snow storm for 12 hours in order to get tickets and I was not dissapointed at all. I talked to so many Dave fans who had been before, and it was everything they said and more.

Crowd was extremely disrespectful! Dave was at his best with the DaveSpeak, pretty much telling everyone to shut it, and that he will play what he wants to play!

As my name implies, the show was the DANK. Some folk need to work on crowd control at these chill times with Dave and Tim. Wish the Fool to Think tease could of been in full, but great transition. Loved catching a great version of Pay For What You Get... It was my first! Tim gets a pat on the back for a ridiculous After the Goldrush --> Ohio... Sick...Right? Overall amazing set. I'm still waiting for a Spoon.

First live D&T show -- loved it. Crowd -- not so much.

User: Scott114
Review:
Well, certain members of the crowd sucked, but after the first few songs, most managed to realize that it wasn't a DMB show and they should sit down and stop dancing to a beat that wasn't there. I think the rest of the crowd is getting a bad rap though about the yelling because you could tell it was just the same people over and over again. There seemed to be only 2 "threatening #41 guys" that just wouldn't shut up. Oh well, I'm sure Dave realizes that 99% of the people there were very attentive and enjoyed his work. And Tim Reynolds is a friggin genius and a guitar god!!! I thought musically, the show was better than the Live @ Luther College disc and much better than I expected.

OMG.. amazing show. The crowd, yeah, was like a bunch of idiots who were tone deaf and drunk. After awhile it got ridiculous, and Dave even tried to calm them down by telling them to practice Tantric Sex.. but maybe that got the whole crowd more hyped up. The set list was truely one of the best I've ever seen or heard. Grey Street, Lie in Our Graves, Ants.. everything was just amazing. First Dave and Tim show, but I am soo wishing for more! The Davespeaks were freaking hilarious, and I didn't mind one bit that he talked for most of the show.. it was worth everything for it!!!

The long awaited 1st D&T gig, with JJ (who scalped us better seats, per usual)

User: solepole1
Review:
The first third of the show was "ok" the last two thirds were "VERY good". I must say though that the highlights of the shows were not necessarily the songs but instead the Davespeaks. I felt as if I were at VH1 StoryTellers and not a URI show! During the second half of the show Dave spoke for 20 minutes (we timed it) about how they used to cane children in the South African schools, and how he and his friends were caned, and he just ranted abot this for litterally 20 minutes! it was incredable. The only reason why tonight's show went 40 minutes longer than the CT show was because Dave spoke forever before every song! and it was great! Also, Typical Situation was spectacular! Ive been waiting forever for this, and Pay For What You Get was extremely good as well. This was show #20 for me,but only my first Dave and Tim. I'll be seeing them Sat. at Radio City and i only hope that they change up the set list a little and that the crowd is a little more respectful than they were tonight. I give this show an 8.5 out of 10.
