Another awesome show. First time i heard Bartender live, incredible. PNP-->Rapunzel closer was awesome. Lots of energy. Last show of 2002 for me at least...probly the second best show i've been too.

Day before finals but went anyway (with someone I didn't exactly know). Hung out with very cool people--semi "pre-partied".

The concert was excellent, but the venue sucked... at least getting to it and leaving it. Almost missed the show because it took over 2 hours to travel from Sacto (should be only about a 40 minute drive). It took 3 hours to get back. But Dave, he and the band were quite awesome. For the 2+ hours I was watching the show, it made the whole drive there seem worth it. Unfortunately, the drive home ruined it. At least after downloading a copy of the concert I can enjoy it again from the comfort of my home.

A great show! A lot of energy here. It was good to see Dave and the boys again. Also, a real treat (for those of us who had entered the venue early enough) was when Dave came out to personally introduce Soulive. He got a roar from the crowd. Although, I must say it was quite a tease to come out and do that, and then NOT sit it on "Joyful Girl." Of course, Soulive never played that song, but they delivered a kick ass setlist anyway. But then it was on to the show. And the last impression I had of the band live was at the Pac Bell Park show, and there didn't seem to be a lot of energy there. Dave seemed to be very "to himself" as opposed to jamming with Boyd or Carter. There wasn't a lot of movement amongst the band either. Kinda odd after watching Listner Supported so often and then seeing them in Marysville, CA a couple years ago where they did the same. So anyway, it was nice to see the energy again. The highlight of this particular show was "Crush." This jam was incredible! The "Two Step" jam was pretty sweet too, but "Crush" took the cake for me! And, seeing Dave solo acoustic for the first time was a REAL treat! Considering there are no more Dave & Tim shows, this was as close as I was going to get to a Dave acoustic performance and I loved every second of it. "Ain't it Funny..." was really powerful and wonderful. After that though, the encore was downhill. I like "PNP" and "Rapunzel" (and by the way, let's just be honest with ourselves, it's one song, okay? Not two!) but I don't think they serve well as encore jams. I think maybe put those songs at the end of the setlist and then put "Two Step" at the end of the encore, then you've got a winner! But, then again, that's why I'm not Dave Matthews! (ha ha) See everyone next year!

Bartender rocked the house when it was played. Antother good set list with Crush, Rupunzel and a few old songs. the encore cover of Willie Nelson's "Ain't It Funny..." with the full moon on the video screen as he played the song was very creative and mood setting and fit the song perfectly. What a way to end the show!.

This is one of those shows where looking at the setlist doesn't do it justice. This is one of the best shows I've been to. Something about the energy that night. SO much fun.

They put this performance of "Dreaming Tree" on the fan club live CD. Enough said. The band was very relaxed playing out in the country at a smaller venue

I remember this as one of the best DMB shows I've ever been to. The setlist was tight and there was a lot of energy. Probably in my list of Top 5 DMB shows I've seen.

Even though we were up in the lawn and it was a tad wet up there, it didn't keep anyone from having a great time. Went with several first timers and within minutes it was like they'd been life long DMB'ers! The guys really seemed to be having a good time up there, and this experience rivaled, no surpassed the last time I saw Dave at SVA.

the light show was spectacular, Dave was on in a big way, great show, I thought he'd be somewhat subdued having been at the shows down at shoreline, where he put out big energy, but no, he was all out here too!

Man, after the Shoreline shows we were skeptical about heading way out to this show but it was worth it. We returned to this venue the next year or two and it always rocks!

YEAH BABY!....Soooooo happy to see the band back at the "Amphitheater"! Back in 2000 I brought a then-newbie, "Fatman", here to celebrate his birthday. We had a great day and were treated to a fantastic show as the band came to play and left it all on-stage. Some how the band was able to top that show this time around. As our two fellow-("newbie")-concert goers stood-by mesmerized, the "Fatman" and I rocked on as the band played into the night.

this show was great, but getting there was not without challenge. my clutch gave out in woodland, and my friend, who i am so lucky to have, turned around in marysville and picked my sad ass up. we ended up getting tickets and backstage passes gratis two evenings before from soulive, so got to hangout with them and shoot the shit before the show. as far as the set list, it was awesome! having dave solo with the purple light glowing and the moon rising singing one of willy's songs... bitchin.

Review:
Well, it WAS a really great show, but my wife and I were so pissed off about the horrible traffic management and the absolutely retarded parking lot (hay and mud? give me a break) it just about ruined the show for us. All-in-all, great setlist. I hardly listen the recording of it though because it brings back parking lot memories and gives me nightmares.
