UNBELIEVABLE SHOW!!!! My 3rd DMB show. I wasnt expecting such a fantastic set especially for a concert that took place during one of the hottest weeks in Nashville history. The heat index on the day of the show was well about 100. Dave commented in the middle of the show that "It sure does get humid up here". The crew had to set up extra fans for the band. The show went on. Normally when DMB are in Nashville, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones play with them, and that leads to the encore being Watchtower, but tonight was different. TWO STEP, ANTS, AND RAPUNZEL WERE UNBELIEVABLE. BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!

#1 show of all time. Best Ants ever, Gravedigger solo was powerful and closing with Rapunzel..WOW! Every song, every moment of this show was AMAZING. The crowd went nuts for every song. DAMN!!

Great Show. I was on crutches and in horrible pain, but it was well worth fighting the pains of surgery for. PNP and Repunzel made a great ending and pacified my soul.

My second DMB ever and it was a blast! I had a great time because this time I was with other people who are avid fans as well. There is nothing better than listening to their music with people I love to be around. I thought that I would be disappointed because the initial glow of DMB had worn off but I was presently surprised!

Sweet show!! Of course it was my first, so they could do no wrong. Great setlist!! Old + New=AWESOME. They didn't play "What You Are" for the encore, and stayed away from most of "Everyday" luckily.

Section 7, Row D, Seat 9......I came to Tennessee at this time so that I could check out Middle Tennessee State University as an option for school. Conveniently, there was a show just up the road from MTSU, at the Amsouth Amp., now known as Starwood Amp. It was the first show I tried to record, and I did it with some rented gear from Sonic Sense, and a Minidisc recorder. I fucked up royally and tried to change discs too early, and the TOC function had not finished, thereby alleviating any listening enjoyment I would later have of the first half of the show. You win some, you lose some....it was a good learning experience. It pissed me off, though, because I had spent money on the rental and gotten some sweet little MBHO mics that sounded very nice. As for the show....Damn. I don't know if you've heard of Mike Durham before, but he is one hell of a guitarist. He is a studio musician in Nashville, who used to play with DMB in C-ville back in the day. Studio musicians are possibly some of the best you'll ever hear. This show was the first time I'd heard him perform, but not the last, and not the best. You should check out the
9-19-03 show where he plays with them again.

This was one of my favorite shows. Amazing version of Bartender and Ants, as well as a cool Gravedigger and Rapunzal Encore. Blew last nights Atlanta away and that was a great show as well.

Really good show. Mike Durham guesting on Two Step made it the best I've seen in a long time. Sorry Butch, but piano solos don't fit Two Step as far as I'm concerned.

This was a good show, not the best i had seen but it was still a dave show so i was happy to be there. This was the first time i heard gravedigger, and loving wings. The show at antioc was better the year before with bela fleck as the special guest.

Amazing trip and amazing show. Two Step...20 minutes with Mike Durham rocking hard. The set was awesome...I actually snagged an official copy and the only change was MD was added to two songs more than he was slated and Raven was dropped. Great time. Gravedigger was just unreal!

My first, so it was the best so far. Really cool set. Two Step, One Sweet World, The Stone were all great as usual. Lots of energy in Ants from both the band and the crowd. Gravedigger was cool to hear and very creepy yet amazing!

I absolutely love AMsouth. not only because its a great venue but our tickets were stolen before this show and they did everything they could to get us new tickts. They made it a great night. And wow...what a show. Great to hear how much gravedigger has changed since it was first played with the full band

For the first time I was at a "real" DMB show (the other was at a festival) I was pleased. The energy was incredible, and it was exciting to sample the "new" songs from Busted Stuff a week before the cd was released. My only wish, to hear "Two Step" live, was fulfilled; it was amazing, especially with Mike Durham's help. They played songs from every album, beginning and ending with two of my favorites from "Before These Crowded Streets." I also loved "Gravedigger."

much shorter than last year but still very enjoyable. Always love the Stone. Crush, Granny, OSW, Satellite all very cooool. First time hearing You Never Know, Where Are You Going, Loving Wings, and Gravedigger. Two Step was a little too drawn out for a crowd with such a short attention span. Much better at home on bootleg. Apparently only the guitar players could appreciate Mike Durham. PNP-->Rapunzel equaled perfect closer. Looked like they were having a lot of fun.

One of the best DMB shows I've ever been to. Sitting 4th row maybe have had a lot to do with it. Every song flowed perfectly into the next. Opening with The Stone was amazing. One of the best versions of Grey Street and Granny. First time to hear You Never Know (awesome!). Bartender was great and Two Step with Mike Durham was insane! Great surprise to hear them close with Rapunzel!!!!

the show was very good. i had lawn tickets so some songs such as Loving Wings were hard to hear because of people talking around me. Overall very good show though. Come and stay for two shows next time. Am South is a great place.

Hands down my favorite show I have been to. The opening with Stone, Grey Street, and Crush rocked! Granny was a suprise but is was really good. The band was definitely feeling the crowd in Nashville. They just kept on jamming. The set closer with Ants just kept on going and going! Can't wait till I get this show!
