I was 2 rows away from the front! And it was my first DMB show! I have to thank my wonderful aunt for the hook-ups. As for the show itself, they played a lot of their poppier tunes, but excellent versions of 'Crush' and 'Lie in Our Graves' were in there; the piano and violin solos on 'Lie in Our Graves' are some of the most beautiful instrumentals I've ever heard.

Good solid show to open Shoreline but the crowd pretty much sucked....I couldn't hear anyone singing #36 when Everyday opened the show....Granny was the best of the tour, nice to finally hear #41 this year...though Roi didn't bring out the flute...I Did It sucked out all the energy of the place as it usually does...STJL is always welcome in any set...Crush and Pig were good, first time What You Are was used to close and I didn't really like it....AMAZING encore though, Wynona and LIOG and of course the Cry Freedom teases that kept all of us on the edge of our seat...Great first night at Shoreline!

Awesome 41, great jam to close the show on LIOG. Very mellow show, probably the weakest of the 4 shows i saw this year.

Wonderful show! LIOG was a great closer. They kicked it down with this one! Crush was also great. Those of us on the lawn had a bit of sound trouble for the first 2 or 3 songs, but then they turned on the back speakers and the rest was history.

My first show ;) Totally blew me away. Sat in section 200 row O but moved down by a nice usher. Became a "hardcore" fan that day. Remember specifically #41 and Everyday. And Carter's permagrin and bubbles!

Amazing show...terrible sound, as the speaker to the back of the lawn wasn't working. We somehow made our way to the front corner of the lawn section, directly in front of a speaker. Highlight of the show was Lie In Our Graves that included a sick solo by Butch. This show also marks the last time I go cheap and get lawn tix...

1st show. Great view from the middle lawn section, however, the sound was seriously lacking. Sound seem to come in and out, but the experience was truly awesome. 1st, of hope to be many shows.

Shoreline's sound system SUCKS and it was a disappointing show with such a low energy. Well, you must be in a real good seat at this venue or it's not worth it. The speakers kept going on and off with statics all night and the volume wasn't very high. I've seen better shows... :-(

First time seeing a show on the West Coast. I thought the show was very cool, the whole encore was awesome, Soulive opened, and there was a pita fight on the lawn. Hundreds and hundreds of pitas.

If I could repeat a show over and over again it would be a close tie between this one and the GGP show. But this one was amazing!! With the teases of Cry Freedom and Blue Water. And just a really cool set list. Granny, You Never Know, 41, Fool to Think, PIG!!!! I remember after the show I listened to it a million times on the way home. Thanks so much DMB for such an awesome show!!

Met up at the hotel with some Whers, crashed in their hotel and shared the brownies. Beeze and Barefoot brought the jello shots. Loved Soulive.

Cry Freedom was a tease, which I was bummed about. Something about that song gets me. Lie In Our Graves rocked.
