Thompson-Boling Arena - University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN
1st show since 9/8/1996 - Good show, but I had seen better. The crowd was dead (no alcohol sold in the Tommy-Bol). Not a fan of indoor arena shows....it was hot as hell in there. Did have great seats but still, no one was dancing, and no one knew any of the words.
Good set- Best of what's around opener into Two Step! Crazy cool. Another LBV appearance- always good!
There with Johnson and Lori. Saw Erin Herndon
At concert. She was sitting right behind us.
Great show. On the floor. 4 rows from the stage. Dead Center.
Great show. First time I had heard Long Black Veil, amazing LIOG, as well as a Stone and spectacular TB encore.
I started out where i'm marked, but some chick ditched her seat down on the floor half way through the show. she gave me her ticket to get on the floor. This was my first show, and first time hearing the cover "Long black veil". Great show!
Good show, I had a blast. The best part was sneaking onto the floor, made it to the 10th row before I was sent back to my seat.
Great show despite the less than great sound at TBA. I loved the BOWA opener and Help Myself! Trippin Billies closer was rockin too!! On a side note, the crowd was less than energetic and the band seemed a little more serious than usual, still a fun night for me.
I hate the Tommy Bole for a show - the accoustics suckkkkkkkk! But Dave and the boys tickled my happy place like usual ;)
