After my first show the night before, even though I was supposed to take my ass home, I convinced Mitch to stay, and we scalped. I couldn't let them play and not be there. Shit seats, we just hung around whereever we could. Attended with Mitch, babysitted a drunk Mindy, Also went with Deters, Kelly, Zig, and JP. Awesome show, no way I would ever turn back into anything else but a Dave Head

I still consider this to be the best DMB show I've been to. Ants opener was killer, and the band followed up nicely with an incredible set and awesome encore.

I got to work security for this one, and I was on stage left, in the area where Butch and the LLs sat while not performing. It was the only time I've met the band, but the show was the real highlight!

Brutally honest, just not a setlist for me. And its not like I look back now and think \"oh that was silly, I love those songs now....\" Ants, Satellite, Drive, Satellite, Lover Lay, Warehouse, Was sooooo into Lillywhite sessions and BTCS at the time, and this show was so heavy on Under/Table and Crash. Again JTR a highlight, and Tripping which was the first DMB song I ever liked in 1996.

It was 4 years ago, but I can still remember it was amazing. I had a whole new appreciation for Dave Matthews Band after this show for it was my first time seeing them live and I will never ever ever forget that wonderous experience... It's a whole different world seeing DMB live.. and I will always treasure this experience as my first.

Worked this show for EventOne. Got to be on stage, left side, holding the flashlight for Butch, the Ladies, and the entire band during encore break. Amazing. Only time I met them, and it was my 4th show. Star struck.

Went with Steve and Jim Warren. A cloudy and rainy day. I drove my Acura Integra hatchback.
Tailgating was fun despite the rain. And it rained heavy at times. Luckily with the hatchback, Steve and I kept dry drinking beer by sitting in the back of the hatchback with the back door open to shelter the rain. Meanwhile, Jim stood outside with his rain slicker. Despite the weather it was a fun time watching people run around drunk in the rain. In fact, just as we were heading into the stadium, it began to clear up. This show would actually be the last music concert I would ever see at Veterans Stadium.
Kicking off the show with “Ants” was very surprising but impressive, followed by “Satellite” which seemed so appropriate for the weather conditions. A great version of “Two Step” followed by an amazing rendition of “Tripping Billies” ended the set and I thought to myself there is no way they could top that in an encore. But by playing an amazing performance of “Pantal Naga Pampa” and “Rapunzel” they did, in fact, top it and I was completely blown away! What a brilliant encore to end a terrific concert.

Unbelievable. By far the best Dave Show i've ever been to. Ants opening was a pleasant surprise. Warehouse was so good. Two Step was absolutely breath-taking and the crowd was so into it, both nights. The new songs were immediately gratifying. And this show made Rapunzel my favourite Dave song. So much energy. Friends of mine still refuse to go to another Dave show after seeing this one, nothing will top it. I think that's dumb, but who am I to judge?

Went to this show with my girlfriend at the time; the girlfriend is long gone but the memory of the show lives on. Awesome from start to finish. #36, will never hear that again unless it's tagged onto the end of Everyday. Two Step was awsome and Grey Street was insane.

Well the show was about 5 years ago, and i finally got the show on cd, and let me say this show was a huge life altering experience. After that show there was no turning back i've been a huge dave head ever since. Playing classics as lover lay down, best of whats around and granny, o and can't for get #36 and jtr, which we rarly hear these days, and great early versions of digging a ditch and grey street. i'll never forget it was just a beautiful night, it rained all day but when it was time for the show the rain stopped and the stars came out with a pretty big moon, a night in philly i'll never forget !!!!

Went to this one solo. Best opening to any DMB concert I've been to. The Too Much tease into Ants was unbelievable. Met Carter before the show and tried to meet Dave and get his autograph, but he was carrying his newborn twins. This was my third show in 4 nights. Great summer.

This was my first ever DMB show. I was in my favorite city, in my favorite stadium to see my favorite band live for the first time. My best friends bought me tickets for my birthday that year.
The show itself was really good. It was a lot of his more popular pieces. IT was such a memorable expierence to see the entire stadium glowing with lighters.... I will never forget it!

Short set but decent show. Lowlight for this show for me was staying in the Holiday Inn next to the Vet. Got trapped in the elevator at 2am. Damn thing dropped straight to the floor and we had to tear the doors off and climb up the elevator shaft.

well, my 4th concert, and i found myself pretty blessed this night. i was 20th row on the floor, slightly to the left, it was AMAZING. now, without just repeating myself a ton from the review of the night before, i'll just say that the one thing that just made this show unreal was the opener. i'll set the scene for you...the band takes the stage...a "Hearbeat Intro" like jam is being played around with for a few minutes when, bam...without warning, DA...DA DA DA...DA DA DA echoes through the stadium...without the drum intro warning, Ants Marching is being played onstage. nobody does a thing. the whole place is silent for a good 5 seconds while everybody tries to take in what just happened, i think this has happened like twice in their history. then the place erupts like none other. set the pace for an awesome show. first time i heard Crush, and first time i have memory of hearing Warehouse and Two Step. amazing.
