2023 Ants Album of the Year Voting/Results (Due: Feb. 2, Results February)

Greetings!

A belated start to the 16th annual Ants Album of the Year poll!

To our returning voters, there's no major rule changes to announce.

For any first-time participants, here's what we do. Feel free to post any questions or comments:

1. Please order your lists with #1 being your favorite album of the year. Please be sure to spell correctly and number your lists! This is a huge timesaver for me.

2. Please PM your lists to me. If my PM box is full, feel free to get cranky with me in the comments.

3. Lists are capped at 100, with a minimum of 5

4. Scoring will be the same as we've done for years past.
• The #1 album will be worth 100 points for every list
• The #2 album will be worth 100 - (100/size of list) and so on.
Example: A list with 100 albums will be (1. 100 points, 2. 99 points, 3. 98 points, etc.)
• A list with 10 albums will be (1. 100 points, 2. 90 points, 3. 80 points, etc.)
• After calculating the total points, each album will be weighted as follows: Total Points * (Lists Appearing/2)

5. Albums and EPs are eligible. Singles and taper recordings are not. Sound off on the comments about any eligibility questions.

Just started my list...I feel like my #1 album wont get any other votes which makes me sad, I just haven't seen it represented much on the music end of year lists. Oh well.

We're up to nine lists and our biggest vote-getters are four albums that have each appeared on four different lists, so lots of diversity this year
