ME: Andromeda is ultimately a "good" game and a compelling story, but falls short of its predecessors and the HUD and inventory mgmt is beyond frustrating.

So angry that they cancelled all DLC and probably the series. So many storylines left unwrapped and hinted at.

Yup. Except it’s all PVP for the most part. So people could essentially just throw an extra 60 down and be at an advantage over other players that couldn’t do the same.

It’s not quite as loot based as the division though. More like call of duty and you could pay cash for gun upgrades, attachments, crafting materials etc

Doubt EA gives a shit. I wonder if Disney stepped in. It’s really no different than what EA does in the sports games. It’s just that it impacts so much more in battlefront. You can just not play ultimate team in Madden or NHL if you don’t want to deal with people spending money to make their team better.

Definitely a good thing for this game though.

If they can only use them in PvE, I don't care either. But if some kid with a shoebox full of gift cards from Grandma can load up on paid gear and then head into PvP with it, that's dicked up.

Agreed. Huge reason I quit playing the last one. So tired of not paying to have early access to levels and then getting smoked repeatedly because A.G. Pennypacker decided to pay and knew of all the primo spots and perks.

Paying for perks will be the death of the casual online gamer. Because to be competitive with the models now you either invest a whole lot of time or a whole lot of money.

played BF2 a little bit tonight. No campaign since it's still downloading.

The single player AI stuff isn't bad. exponentially better than BF1. Played about 15 mins of the campaign and it's good so far.

Visually everything is stunning. I played with Luke, Darth Maul, and Kylo Ren and they feel more authentic and easier to control. The blasters are much more satisfying as well. Overall this is a lot better than BF1 so far. Haven't gotten far enough to have to worry about the progression system yet

I played an hour and a half of the new Battlefront yesterday. Couple of capture the flag type multiplayer games and a couple of the dog fight space missions.

The game is insanely fun. In spite of the hoopla about the Pay to Win reddit fiasco, it's a really fun game.

Well they got rid of the pay to win. It was too late though. Hurt their product. Good news is other games seem to be catching on. So hopefully some good will come out of BF2 essentially failing at launch.
