Good Time was okay. Could've used more Jennifer Jason Leigh. Felt bad for the retarded brother. That ending scene, Jesus I couldn't do that job and not want to slit my wrists.

Too many resigned/unhappy/angry/miserable characters.

I thought this was very good. Reminded me a lot of her open and honest conversations with Howard Stern. I was never really a fan of her music but I knew she was extremely talented. Peak Gaga is just her and a piano.

gosh i still havent seen any of your top 3. also not the biggest star wars guy and i just saw billboards but i've seen trailers for all of those anticipated ones (except Coco which i'm going to see blind on turkey day) and i'm pumped for every single one!

i may also see battle of the sexes and novitiate. maybe sacred deer too, were you not a fan?

i've calmed down a little from 3 Billboards, thinking about some things that bothered me in retrospect i'm downgrading to a 9.4 i just love it so much though, can't wait to see it again. can't wait to hear all your thoughts.

It was okay. As with the director's other projects, it's really hard to compare it to anything. Distinctiveness doesn't always equate to brilliance though, and at times it really stretched suspension of disbelief to its limits. The antagonist was great, as was Kidman, but poor dialogue and a wooden performance from Colin Farrell left me feeling pretty underwhelmed.

But hey, Alicia Silverstone is in it! I felt like I hadn't seen her in 20 years.

Film buffs - does anyone know what movie this is? If I could remember any more of it than this, I'd obviously know what movie it was, but the only scene I'm remembering is the medium/fortune teller/palm reader, whatever she was, who the boy pays to go to so he can see some boobage because she tells the future by whipping out one of her boobs and rubbing it.

I can't remember if it's something like Up The Creek, Joysticks, Revenge of the Nerds, something like that perhaps? Clueless, but was asking a few people the other day met with very blank expressions.

Watched Daddy's Home (2015) for the first time last night, thought it was pretty funny. Obviously going into a movie like that you aren't supposed to take it seriously but there were some scenes where the special effects were about as advanced as a slide show I made in high school.
