After watching the latest trailer that came with the Avengers again, and now seeing the MTV awards footage, I'm making this prediction about the plot: Bane does NOT kill Batman. The image we see of Bane tossing aside the broken helmet comes somewhere in the mid to the end of the second act, shortly after that being the scene where an unmasked Bruce asks why he didn't just kill him, and Bane says his punishment must be more severe. Then Bruce escapes climbing up that well, and the scene of Batman fighting Bane on the steps of that building in the snow surrounded by the hundred of other guys is the last climactic showdown.

The MTV trailer was awesome. I was skeptical of Catwoman for a while but I am beginning to really like her inclusion. Plus Nolan confirmed that the name "Catwoman" is nowhere in the script

I'm on the fence if I want to do the whole three movies in the theater, or if I just wanna have a mini marathon at my house before going to see TDKR. The former could be a fun experience, but the latter means I can do some things you can't do in a movie theater and that might be a little more enjoyable.

Yes, boozing would be a big plus...but I also didn't see Begins in the theater (I don't think) and big midnight showings are awesome.

Is that official, though? While it would obviously make sense to start it off with Batman Begins, the initial promotion I saw for the event the other day, it only actually mentioned seeing TDK previously.

Yeah, I didn't see begins in the theater, either. That's one of my incentives in going.

Yeah, I think you might be right. I just looked at the page again, and it doesn't say Begins. I'm leaning more to a home viewing, now. Good catch !

If it's not Begins, then idk...but I do have Begins on blu-ray and could home view that (and booze!), then go to TDK & Rises

i think the reason its gonna be just TDK and TDKR is because both those movies had scenes shot in IMAX format, whereas BB only did the upconvert.

only one that I know of. though I can see how one would draw this conclusion, if anything, Ledger's performance alone puts TDK above BB for me.

Ledger was great in TDK, but I think BB was a superior movie overall and the best origin super hero movie ever

I will smoke before the movie. (not much of a drinker) But, have you ever heard of a light buzz? Not everyone who drinks gets fall down drunk to the point they can't remember. There is such a thing as having a drink and feeling "good". Nice way to take it to the extreme, though.
