I’m not a SiriusXM subscriber- what’s the concensus ?? I’m a casual DMB fan and appreciate all their music.
Is it worth the subscription?

You should be able to get a free trial for 30 days. I have Sirius and I think it's worth it but I also don't use Spotify or the paid version of YouTube so I can't offer you an informed comparison.

I get excited to surf XM radio again and look forward to driving. This is like opening a new toy that will be around for a whole month! I am loving the new station so far. The blurbs from the band members are very insightful, which is something we don't get very often.

I agree. The blurbs are fun. I'm assuming the Dave comments for the new album songs are from the Spectrum interview but I hadn't heard any of it. The intro for Again and Again was pretty funny. Classic Dave goofiness.

Sirius does have some great stations. I would be very greateful if they added dmb permanently but I have been happy with my subscription since 2005. Every type of music commercial free, virtually every team sport broadcast, etc

That Stefan interview that just aired talking about how he got into the band was really interesting to hear. I’m liking this simply for the talking.

Agreed. The talking bits with the band is by far the best thing on this channel... at least until Friday!

I don't know if I'd want Sirius to add this as a full-time station though, unless they wanted to add in some deeper cuts. I can only listen to that Watchtower from LT4 so many times!

Now, mix in a few Sugar Wills, some old school Blue Waters, more live Seek Ups/Two Steps, and the occasional Lillywhite Sessions... then you'd really have something. But as is, I don't see much value to it except for the live Friday broadcasts.

Siriusly, I'd get more variety by just putting my iTunes on shuffle.

I do like how often they are playing audio from the 9.4.16 show. Cool to listen to a recent show because I don't have that LT. Jeff is tearing it up at the end of Stone.

Hearing this Old Dirt Hill from Radio City for the first time on here.... vocal edits on here are HORRIBLE. Horrible. Can't believe they would release something this horribly modified. Who in management was thinking autotuning Dave was a good idea?

There you go, Satellite from the Flat Five sessions - previously we only got two of them on the R2T deluxe release but an interview with the studio owner suggests there were many, many, many more songs laid down over those sessions.

More of the Flat Five session studio material please and other "demo" material, that's the big draw for me and until this morning didn't sound like they were going to have anything not previously released.

Just came in here to make this same observation. These are solid releases, but with so much out there I hope they vary it a bit. Certainly would be nice to hear some LT 2, 3, 7, etc.

Then again, if I want to hear it so bad, I could just open iTunes

Yeah it wasn't super different from the UTTAD version like Typical Situation is, but to the best of my knowledge it's never been released in any capacity, official or otherwise (ie - Cigarette Lit, etc).

I was hoping to see more Flat Five material. Should tweet at them!
