I've been there twice. Not as shitty as Detroit or Cleveland. Nowhere near as cool as San Antonio.

I think LMA fits very nicely with the Spurs. Yes, Pop and TD are leaving soon. But if LMA wants a legit shot at winning a title next year SA is a good choice, and when TD is done, LMA can fill his role (and then some, potentially) and roll with Parker and Kawhi for some years to come, and they could be another "big 3" for SA. If other FA's were smart they'd go to SA too, especially if LMA goes there, winning culture and they're known for playing the game the right way. Danny Green is a huge X-Factor for the Spurs and would be nice to see them sign him as well.

    Imagine Love in Pop's system.

The fact that he's not even really being discussed for visits is strange:

When does he have to be waived by?

If I were a GM I would just keep trying to trade him right now.

Never been to San Antonio, so I couldn't say. Was simply repeating great Chuck quotes.

Milwaukee is a great city, though. Definitely not anywhere even close to Detroit or Cleveland. Should be exciting/awesome when the whole arena/entertainment project gets completed.

People in Wisconsin think Milwaukee is a great city.
People in Michigan think Detroit is a great city.
People in Ohio think Cleveland is a great city.
People in Pennsylvania think Pittsburgh is a great city.
People in Western NY think Buffalo is a great city.

They aren't - and I am not even saying they are crappy cities, but this might be the first time anyone has ever called Milwaukee a great city that didn't work for the mayor. That doesn't mean they can't sign quality free agents though in the right circumstance.

I get what you're saying, but you forgot to include:

People in other cities always think where they are is better than where anywhere else is.

I'm not even sure what this post is about. I'm not arguing that Milwaukee is a great destination for NBA players. My guess, though, is that if your reaction to cities is " Milwaukee" or " Pittsburgh," you haven't been to either in the past five years.

What makes a city great for a middle class millennial isn't so great for pro athletes.

Like Cincy is showing up a lot of best of lists for millenials and that's great, but in high profile cities pro athletes aren't living in the same building as I am. I live with 4 Bengals, and know where the other 49 live because I know their neighbors.

    Also, can you not read?

Never said the city is a great destination for the majority of pro athletes.

That's the sole reason for me wanting to get to a game this season: the new food they have.

"What they did in Memphis is beyond comprehension," Popovich said at the time. "There should be a trade committee that can scratch all trades that make no sense. I just wish I had been on a trade committee that oversees NBA trades. I would have voted no to the L.A. trade."

Who is the worse negotiator, Middleton's agent or Billy King? $20 mil for Lopez?! Even next summer that's far too much. Meanwhile Middleton in those last two years is going to be on a bargain deal. Gotta assume that 4th year is a player option.
