I liked both new rules.

As for the runner on 2nd, is there any clear research that it made the game faster or not? My guess is it did (or would) cut down on 16+ inning games. Why would you want those? And decimate a team's bullpen. After a loss, I've seen fans of my team complain about the rule, but it's like, y'all, we had the same fucking advatange as they did, and we couldn't get that runner in (or keep theirs from scoring).

Is there any clear poll that more fans liked it than not?

it definitely cuts down on those marathon 13-14-15-16+ inning games...but how many are there per year? not many.

i think its a dumb rule. and that's not because the yankees shit the bed last night. i just think its dumb.

Saw Nellie Cruz got traded (again). Big part of the World Series run in 2011 for better (teeing up HRs like he was at top golf in the ALCS) and for worse (jumping in the air at a routine outfield catch to cost them the World Series). Too bad he was juicing.

I think I'm bad luck for the Brewers; I've only been able to catch a few of their games bc Youtube TV doesn't get the RSN anymore but every game I've watched on TV or in-person has been a loss so far
