You find me a BOWA that gets a reaction like this:

    http://youtu.be/lrj0vM8KMxY

    And I'll change my vote.

but that has nothing to do with song quality. halloween is great but BOWA is a great piece of music/lyrics.

Every once and a while, there are certain songs that just feel like the songwriters soul is poured into it. Halloween is one of those, IMO. That's why I find it so incredible.

Live? Halloween by far. Not even close for me. That song live is just insane. BOWA is far better studio but not live, at least not in this era of DMB. Perhaps in the mid 90's- BOWA wins

I think mid-90s Halloween is even better. That's when it was at it's best, IMO. 1994 Halloweens are disgusting good.

Typically I'd agree with you, Halloween is the exception for me though.

I ask which would you like to hear live... not which gets the better reaction.

Truly though... my vote went for the song that I'd get the most enjoyment out of hearing and that is BOWA. Halloween would definitely pump me up but I feel like when I walk away from a show after hearing BOWA its all that I can remember for that particular show

If they played Halloween more like the BTCS version I'd be all over it. But it's too screamy now. I'd take BOWA over it.

Why don't people chant for Best Of What's Around? Why is it always for Halloween? Halloween is great, but come on... Best Of What's Around!!!!

Halloween no contest for me. Halloween is probably in my top 5 (now I can officially say that since I've seen it!) and BOWA is probably more like top 30 for me.

BOWA is by far the better song, but Halloween might be the be the better concert moment. Too tough a call to vote for me.

Don't get all the love for BOWA. Easily Halloween, it's top 5 material for me.

Halloween, only because I've never seen it. After I see it, if I ever do, I'm sure I would take BOWA from then on.

It's easier to chant Halloween than Best of What's Around

Seen them both a few times and I'd take Halloween, tougher choice than i originally thought. BOWA is my favorite opener I've ever seen though.

I don't think the fan base has the capabilities to chant Best of what's around in unison...

Ive seen them both multiple times and I love them both.

However, there is not much that can top Halloween live. The explosiveness of the band and crowd is pretty amazing.

BOWA is an amazingly beautiful song. A great live song....but the experience of Halloween is pretty special.
