I don't think I have watched more than 15 minutes of sports center in years. I understand why they obsess with certain teams but it is annoying so I just browse the headlines and check scores/stats. Also ESPN2 is largely garbage and I hate Mike and Mike. Greeney seems to know jack about sports and a segment they were doing the other morning made it sound like he doesn't like sports at all. I can tolerate Golick but he is from ND and when the whole expansion talks were going on he just annoyed me with the arrogance ND fans seem to have.

This has been my biggest complaint for years. ESPN is in love with baseball and shits on hockey. SportsCenter only shows a few hockey highlights and shows every baseball highlight. Even the bottom tracker only shows the NHL scores while, it tells you every stat from every baseball game and who the pitchers will be for the next game. Fuck You ESPN

they are too obsessed with football. I understand its the most popular with just casual sports viewers in america. but they never stop running nfl live, and giving shit reports on teams and players/thugs and scandals i dont care about.

more hockey, college basketball, maybe soccer, tennis and golf should be on there.

STFU about steriods and baseball espn. roids happen in every sport

ESPN doesn't air NHL games. I don't blame them for not showing more NHL programming when they don't have a contract with them. It's a business.

Baseball is far and away the most plugged and talked about sport on ESPN. You're not going to get more hockey until the NHL and ESPN sign a contract. College basketball gets plenty of coverage. Soccer won't and shouldn't get more coverage. If you're complaining about the amount of television time the NFL gets, you are watching too much ESPN.

I've been a big fan of ESPN for year now and still like it, although I've hit a point where I can't take Chris Berman at all anymore. When he yells "WHOOOOOOPPP" in football highlights, I want to throw something through my tv but instead I just change the channel.

ESPN's lack of NHL coverage, watered down baseball highlites with home runs only, and the stupid little gimmicks really are what pisses me off. But they do have some good reporters, I like sports, and it's how I start my morning. Basically I watch it for the sports but hate it for the bull shit and Lebron circus.

Im with you on everything except the NYG point. I'm a giants fan and To be honest NYG has always been a respected franchise, but never flashy or worthy of time on sportscenter. If you've noticed the Giants have become 2nd to the Jets.

Summer is the worst for Sportscenter. I like baseball (don't love it), but countless highlights are the worst. Another reason its horrible is this NBA free agency, i wont even go into detail. Wait, yes i will. I cant count the amount of times i've seen an analyst go up and go on and on about whos going where and then say something different the next day. Theres nothing like reporting a story thats complete hearsay from an unnamed source.

When Terrel Owens was being an A-Hole in philly that summer, it was one of the worst summers for sportscenter ever. 45 minutes of baseball highlights. 15 of TO followed up by an NFL live based only on TO.
