Awesome stuff
not sure yet which one, buddy of mine has been in touch with MSG about it. he reached out to me and asked if it'd be possible to get 20 people for the suite, so i put out the bat signal and people came swarming

only factor now is the price - all of us who are interested have a threshold and if the price is higher than that, we wont do it. we should find out today/tomorrow if we are a go.

never done it before, it'll be all you can eat/drink, sounds pretty baller.

if it falls through, my sister has a connection to get us regular tickets

Hi everyone. Im working the whole weekend but I’m managed to swap off NYE. I live in nyc. Would love to finally see phish. Don’t have much of anything to offer other than thanks and a beer or two in the venue If anyone is able to help me find a ticket for anywhere in the building. Just wanna experience it. Thanks.

Going to be a tough ticket to find, but if you are only looking for one you might get a miracle!

I will keep a look out for you. I am finally getting in the door for NYE after trying for over a decade (although I was always looking for more than 1 ticket)!

our most recent offer for the suite is 20 people @ $250/head. they said they'd throw in $300 worth of alcohol, but no food. that amounts to like 1 drink per person lol. i rounded up 20 people over the last few days, and now i'm going through the list to make sure everyone is still on board with the price/offer.

Pretty amazing to hear how trey reads the entire list of phish songs every morning of tour and how he does everything to put him in the perfect mindset for when he walks on stage. I cant imagine theres literally any other well established musician on the planet that does anything even remotely close to that.

He went into this and how the Baker’s Dozen was constructed on Under the Scales a little while back. So awesome

Definitely not the lead singer for the band this website was made for

so essentially $250 for a ticket to sit in the suite? that’s not bad at all, assuming you don’t also have to purchase a ticket. is there a suite attendant or anything? aka cart food/bev or do you just use the regular vendors? that is super appealing.

    If only.

If I think about it too much, or try to make comparisons, it just makes me upset these days. I go into DMB shows with vastly different expectations these days (but which I didn't have to).

Best seats I ever had at a Phish show were behind the stage one of the Bakers Dozen nights. It's a very cool perspective.

I'll be behind the stage on the 30th too. Way better than being on the other side of the venue two rows from the top which I have been before.

Agreed. I try to do behind the stage one night every time I do an indoor run.

Actually, my favorite night of the BD run I attended was also behind the stage on 8/4. There's usually plenty of space back there because folks try to cram the other sections facing stage.

I honestly think I prefer behind the stage to 100s on the other end. The lights are great in 101-103, but you're so much farther away from the stage. Also, the beer/bathroom lines can get real long in those sections because it also feeds the folks in Secs 1 2 and 3.

Apparently 218 is a press box. Should be plenty of dancing room!

we locked in yesterday for $300/head and that includes extra booze in addition to what they were giving us with the base level of $250/head. no need to buy a ticket in addition to it.

we will be able to go in a private entrance into MSG, all 20 of us will be able to party together, and the booze should be enough to get us halfway thru 2nd set which is when the spaceship usually starts to blast off anyways

yeah i went to DMB in Boston a few weeks ago; i had fun but it's such a different experience. i'm at 58 shows and it may take a looooong time to hit 60, if i ever do

Is that just $300 a night? Either way, that's an awesome deal. I'm sure that'll be a ton of fun.

    yeah its just for 12/31.

lotta hemming and hawing went into the decision

the core 6 of us who started the suite idea all have access to killer seats for NYE, so by taking the box, which is dead center but further away from the stage, we lose that great view but now we get to party together. add in 14 more friends and we're gonna have a friggin blast. sure it's more expensive, but this'll be a helluva experience. even my wife, mrs casual phan, is PSYCHED for the show
