This was nice of him, great read. Haven't been able to check out the whole album yet, but I definitely will tonight. I remember thinking his take on "Busted Stuff" was fantastic when that single dropped, so I'm sure I'll like the rest.

Only heard the clips posted, but I liked all 3. The outro to GiG is really nice, Digging was a fun little take. I don't know what I would listen to it over and over, but I appreciate his spin on the songs. The musicianship is great.

I was also thinking this is like Ryan Adams doing 1989. There are RA fans that think it's an abomination. I think it's awesome. A lot of those lyrics could have been written by him.

That is a great record, IMO, and I'm a HUGE Ryan Adams fan. He really made it into his own thing.

I'm finally getting around to listening to this. It's fantastic. SUAD, Raven, and Bartender are highlights for me.

I definitely disagree with Walker and others who don't think Monkey Man is good, though. It's not just good. It's a masterpiece.

Saw Ryley Walker last week when he came to town in Philly . Small venue which made it cool and he put on a hell of a show with his band. Got to meet and talk to him for a bit afterward. He was super cool and down to earth. Glad I decided to get tickets.

The spectrum on XM playing JTR from this right now. Found it odd the dj did a quick intro of him and mentioned his album, The Lillywhite Sessions and said here’s JTR. No mentioned of DMB whatsoever. Just kind of odd
