He's unbelievably good. He may not win every race, but if he stays with Mercedes, I don't see how he'll ever loose a driver title. He very well may be the best F1 driver of all time.

Last year when Hamilton sealed the title at Mexico, he was getting blue flagged as the leaders lapped him. So funny.

Yay for Mexico, this GP the coverage moves in the US from ESPN to ABC which means Canadians can watch the race commerical free by tuning into ABC instead of TSN. Fuck yah! Some great passing opportunities here, let's hope Max makes it through Lap 1 (turn 1?) without an incident and we get a good clash at the front.

Ideal result? Bottas wins + Fastest Lap, Hamilton DNF, title gets hotter. 300 vs. 338 with three races left.

Hard to consider GOAT though, way more points available right now per race, way more races per season, far more automation in the vehicle. Take a look at the famous on board camera of Senna setting pole position at Monaco in the early 90s and see how much more work they had to do, and much more forearm strength as well reefing on that steering wheel from left to right. No argument that he's one of the all time greats though, massive amounts of driving skill.

2021 will see big regulation changes so it'll be interesting to see whether Mercedes can dominate by that point, no-one stays on top forever...just look at McLaren! GP2 engine, GP2 engine!!

You're right, definitely hard to say greatest ever. Always hard to compare one generation to another in any sport. But he has to be up there with the greatest drivers ever.

I'm really can't wait to see what the 2021 changes bring. I think you're right again that its going to shake up the field.

With 30 minutes left its Vettel, Verstappen and Leclerc. Hamilton is P5 nearly a second behind and only a tenth ahead of Kvyat.

Not much changing in the lap times. Vettel, Verstappen and Leclerc still lead the field with the Alfa, Hass and Williams drivers at the bottom.

And that does it for FP2. All of today's practice may be useless for set-ups since its supposed to rain changing the track conditions. May be on intermediates or rain tiers for P3 and quali tomorrow. Looking forward to both.

Hamilton does it again. He managed the race/tires perfectly. Felt really bad for Norris, it looked like he had a good car. Happy for Perez with a nice finish in front of the home crowd. My Haas boys were a non-factor as usual.

Only 17 months until we see them live at Albert Park on the telly, then another 3 months and I'll see them live from 20' away. Looks super futuristic, how long until they add some inversions into a new track and we move towards WipEout F1?

I think 2020 is going to be a lot like this year, but hopefully 2021 at least pulls the field closer together.

Great race yesterday. Overtaking all thought the field right to the end. Hamilton comes home with the 6th title. Just wonder how many more he can get. Seems like if Mercedes can keep the momentum 2020 is looking pretty good and if they can figure out the 2021 car, who knows.

FP1 underway in Brazil. Rainy day there an cars are on full wets. Have a feeling no one is going to push too hard today. Forecast shows rain tomorrow, but dry on race day.
