    Actually the assembly went smoothly, which is rare for IKEA products. I think I only cursed once or twice.

    when I put our bedroom stuff together, I think I only cursed once or twice, too. one was when the headboard fell and hit me because Amber wasn't paying attention while holding it so I could put the sides on

    Every time I turn around, I have to explain something to one of them, and they are our help desk but people hate talking to them so they come find me and want me to do menial stuff that would waste my time doing other shit and it's awful

    I only get two weeks at my new job. Had 17 days at my last one, but sick time was lunped into that. That said we get a day added each year we're here, so that's cool. And we also get 11.5 holidays and two personal days.

    I want to do more international traveling, so I'll need all the time.

    I also have 2 floating holidays for use around the end of the year and if I'm sick, I just work from home

    that part of my job is pretty amazing, actually

    I can work from home, generally, whenever I want. I get a hell of a lot more done

    Definitely therapeutic. My daughter helped me the whole time (about 3 hours). It was cool to work on something like that with her.
