From week 1 Green Bay has had 8 legitimate defensive lineman, all whom could argueably start on different teams. Montgomery, Williams, Kampman, and Pickett still makes for one hell of a front 4.

The problem is that the injuries affect their depth and their rotation. This will have an affect on the pass rush late in the game.

It's funny because you never hear much about him. That is because they hardly throw his way anymore. If that isn't a sign of respect I don't know what is.

I don't remember him getting torched like Champ Bailey and Dre' Bly did this year (by Brett).

Ive never understood how having a bunch of interceptions makes you a better overall player. I remember a guy on my high school team who was terrible at corner, but still managed at least 6 INTs a year because QBs always threw his way and at least once a game they would give him a gift.

The fact that the ball is never thrown a persons way is the ultimate way of saying that they have completely shut the reciever down.

Someone on the ESPN board posted a link to some place called "Cold Hard Facts", and according to them Green Bay is second only to NE in terms of # of quality opponents and records against those teams. Dallas is last in defense against quality opponents and the only quality opponent it has beaten (New York), the combined margin of victory from those 2 games is less than Green Bays 1 game against the Giants.

Basically to put it short they called Dallas a fraud whose recored is based off of playing bottom of the barrel teams

Edit: Also, Green Bay is 0-8 at Texas Stadium since 1989, a year the cowboys were terrible.

To add to the whole "HomeField Advantage" factor, Dallas has never won at Lambeau Field

While I'm sure all those stats are accurate, I think they are a solid team, but certainly not as great as the ESPN'ers blowing them constantly. Enough with the Romo/Cutler comparisons to Favre. These guys are both in their second year. Can we get realistic for a second perhaps?

Really? That's surprising considering the division they play in, gonna have to check up on that ..... tomorrow.

Im keeping the mindset that everything ESPN says is completely truthful, so if we do lose, i wont want to destroy something, but if we win, it will feel like a massive upset.

With Cutler and Romo, yes the amount of comparisons needs to slow down, but i prefer it over the "Brady and Peyton are not actually system QBs." There is actually some substance substance to those comparisons: Cutler has Favres arm, Romo has the same game mentality. I dont think either will end up better than Favre ( i just dont see the Broncos going anywhere soon, and Dallas will always be overloaded with talent that could make Shane "I cant throw beyone 15 yards" Matthews an MVP candidate).

if your speaking in terms of Indy, I am assuming that they are only taking into account all games played up to this point. Im sure that once they play JAX again they might rise to the top.

Edit: Actually here it is right here:

    http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com...Standings.html

i should rephrase it too. Green Bay is second in records for quality opponents compared to New England (3-0 vs 4-0). Indy has actually played 5 quality opponenents, but is 3-2 against them.

No, not really. I have no doubt that Indy has had a tough schedule considering the AFC South, rankings don't mean all that much.

I am just surprised that NE is at the top.

I don't really get that either...

In like opponents Dallas has a larger win margin... also the only loss for Green Bay came from Chicago which Dallas handled quite easily...

regardless I don't think that any of that matters. I think this game is going to be amazing regardless. Do I think Dallas is going to win? Yes. Will Green Bay put up a fight? Abso-fruit-ly.

    Can't beat the Kool-Aid man...

Work is going to kill me tomorrow... I'll just be looking forward to the game on thursday. Even if it is on the crappiest network around it should be amazing.

These two teams are hands down the best teams in the NFC and I really don't think any team besides these two will end up in the Superbowl...

i'm a diehard packer fan in the heart of cowboy country. i've taken alot of shit my whole life for this and nothing would make it sweeter than a win tonight in dallas.

sadly this is the first packers cowboys game in dallas that i have missed in the favre era. maybe i've been the badluck charm.

I like him. He needs to clean up his play a little, but he's got a nose for the ball, and hits like a fucking truck.
