Storms moving in is just called 3pm here.

And how good was that Drive In last night? Even in 2007, when they weren't really 'on' all tour, they sounded great. 06 and 07 were strange tours, not their best overall and their playing sounds tired and sloppy at times, but there are some real gems from those tours. Reminds me of the 03 and 04 Phish tours.

2006 started out so great and then hit a huge lull after the break. I remember OSW, DDTW, and PNP>Rapunzel being rotated as openers every three shows and was completely shocked when BOWA opened Dallas that summer. That opening six song run from that show was great, then it fell off a cliff fast.

For as bad as everyone says the shows in 06 and 07 were, they're still leaps and bounds better and far more enjoyable than whatever it is they're trying to do now.

Looking back on 2006, it's astonishing that Stand Up didn't have far and away the most plays. In fact, it was third.

Yeah, but you also don't lose power for 5 plus days either.

Only saw 1 show in '06 and thought it was pretty decent. Esp for a N1.

Hunger and Dreamgirl back to back was a mood killer. Nancies>Warehouse was cool. YMDT still sucked in 2006. Bayou isn't great. Compared to the first five songs, it's a nosedive IMO.

I guess nosedive to me would mean the set never recovered, and I think that show closes out nicely.

A few bright spots with Nancies>Warehouse, but I don't really like PNP>Rapunzel closing sets and the encore doesn't do much for me either. Being there, you could see the wind come out of the sails when Hunger started and the crowd never really got back into it.

There was a large group of people from Stillwater that I knew that were going to the show and we all met up in the lots. After the show one guy was so pissed they didn't play Satellite, like, he was fuming mad. It was something to behold.

    Hell yeah, Alpine 2022!
