Re: *** Official Europe 2019 ***

I am selling 4 tickets to the Tempodrom/Berlin show this Saturday. My plans fell through and I can’t make it. I am in Krakow and will do my best to get you the tickets in the most efficient way possible. Seats are in Sector 5, row 8. Am open to offers at face value (90 EUR) or the best you can do.

yeah, it's listed beneath, but on the map the tour for some strange reason stops at last night's show at Stockholm and continues in Hamburg (there is no blue dot marking Oslo and no lines are drawn between Stockholm - Oslo - Hamburg)

I've seen this happen sometimes. I remember looking at my personal tour map and seeing a red dot waaayyy in the upper left hand corner of the image (the dot was not on any actual geography). After trial-and-error on my end (removing my attended shows) I found that the 11 December 2012 show in Georgia wasn't showing up in the actual geographic location on the map. When I looked back at the 2012 Winter Tour map (https://antsmarching.org/tour/tourindex.php?tourid=120) I saw that the Georgia show isn't on the map, but it's on the list.

If you want to be in the first row, you only have to struggle with the 30 Americans who visit the show.
Thank you! I was planning on 15:00 or so, but looks like there is no rush to queue up! More time for a couple beers!

    Re: *** Official Europe 2019 ***

The run from Paris to Amsterdam was adding 1-2 "rarer" songs per show (Help Myself, Recently, You Never Know, Say Goodbye, Big Eyed Fish, JTR), making me optimistic about more varied setlists this time around in Europe.
Unfortunately, they seem to be played once, and probably shelved for the rest of the tour...
Don't get me wrong, I loved the 2 shows I've been to, but it always feels like with a little more variety on song selection, we could easily go from good to epic shows!!

Well I managed to get the 1 poster I've been wanting, the james flames London night 2 poster for my wife! Turns out her sister actually got one for her at the show, so I have an extra if anyone needs it. Willing to sell or trade.

anyone on here who went do Viena yesterday?

how did you like it compared to other shows? Quite a strong set compared to some shows before, although something was missing for me yesterday... just don't know what it was.

I think it was a great set and awesome show. Only setback was that the crowd was rather passive at least in the first half of the show - im my opinion - so the flow in the improv parts was not quite there.

Hope someone had the opportunity to tape and will share with us. Stay, 41, Don't drink... were awesome.

In Lisbon was really hoping to see Help Myself, JTR, You Never Know, or Time of the Season, so that was a little disappointing. Having said that, I can even live with the set, although there was nothing unique about it (except Fly Like an Eagle was great at the end of Jimi - I hope they keep that all summer). What I can't figure out is why they didn't bring Carlos Malta back out for Ants. That was an easy thing to do and would have been great to end the set that way. I think the crowd would have loved it. The Nancies-Warehouse-Jimi run was the best part of the night IMO, and they don't bring him out at the end?!? Makes no sense to me.

Oh don’t worry (regarding the “Fly Like an Eagle” outro to Jimi). It will be the outro to Jimi for the next decade, just like Sexy MFer.
