Sure we can. The new LT was a fantastic show, even with a terrible opener and Hunger. Perfect example of a balanced set that appeals to everyone.

His post came off like someone who is pissed they got on board late. I switched over to safari to see his shows and what do you know......First show in 2014 and using the reasoning “that was one of the better shows I saw up until then” as reasoning as to why that gorge set isn’t standard and calling people spoiled in the process Hell if that’s not standard I’d like to know what this is.... the catalog is just watered down now. It’s been trending that way since 05 and hasn’t stopped.

That show is a +4. Definition of standard essentially.

The bad songs will be present pretty much no matter what these days though. That’s what I’ve come to accept. But I would be more than content with a set that included Bartender, Cry Freedom, Raven, and Halloween.

I can see a reason for the new songs to be in there, but there's absolutely no reason they had to make this a SU/CT album tour

Agreed, but also thinking sets will ever go back to only R2T-BS songs is just as unreasonable. A lot of people just don’t like stuff off the newest few albums as much, but Dave is never going to omit them.

They don’t need to. I know I keep pointing back to the new LT but it’s a perfect example.

Batson being around ruined this tour. The boyd situation was out of their control but there is no need for this tour to be full of standup staples.

I think LT 45 is very similar to that Gorge show.

But I agree a tour shouldn’t ever be SU heavy at this point in time.

What I think is funny is you know Dave wouldn’t think twice about writing a set filled with songs only from SU, ED, BW and CT songs with 1-2 older added in, but doing the opposite wouldn’t ever even be something he’d consider.

you're right, I was at one and watched it happen live last night so it felt like more. That's my mistake, but it still feels like Billies and Stay are being over-utilized as set/encore closers. Good songs that I'm always happy with but I think it would go a long way to open up a little more late set.

I like far more than most of their catalog. Doesn’t make that gorge show anywhere near as quality from top to bottom as that Camden

Agree, and does it seem like its getting worse as time goes on? But as someone else mentioned, Dallas was great and IMO Austin was a great show.

I have both as +8 shows actually. Camden has more songs on both extremes for me, and the Gorge is more neutral or slightly positive throughout. There are a lot more songs in the Camden show I’ve heard to death or just don’t enjoy as much.

Not to mention Dreamgirl is my least favorite song. Hearing that opening would be a huge downer.

I don't think its crazy to think that these random bust outs over the 4 shows have been in preparation for SPAC. Id be shocked if Two Step, The Stone, GiG and Pig are not played at SPAC. My criticism was that people are acting blown away that this is happening.
